I’ll have Secrets out September 1st. And I’ve actually written all the way to the end of Battles. The third book does still need a lot of work: but I wanted to see how it ended and I think I’ve written a splendid ending! I’m going to try to have Battles out December 1st but that might slip to right after the New Year.

You may have heard of the story of the accused rapist who was let out because of Corona fears and then proceeded to murder his victim. I don’t know precisely why, but this story has placed a fury of anger in my heart. I’m sure this is not the only such story out there: and it is infuriating because the criminal was released not for any valid reason, but simply because the Democrat Party created an op which went: “if the virus is the worst thing ever, it will hurt Trump, so we’ll have the MSM report the virus as the worst thing ever”. What followed after that – criminals being sprung because we can’t leave them in prison with the worst virus ever – was a predictable as thunder after lightning. But the bottom line is that a woman is dead – murdered by the man who brutally raped her – because of the Democrat Op…and all those who are hand-wringers and cowards over this virus also have blood on their hands. For the millionth time: actions have consequences. This is the real world. What you do will cause other things to happen.

Trump signed his Executive Orders and, sure, we Conservatives are not pleased that he was forced to this action. In our perfect, entirely Constitutional world, this should not have happened. But, we left off that Constitutional world quite a while ago. It wasn’t even Obama with his pen and phone that got the ball rolling here. Honestly, it was Teddy Roosevelt with his “if the law doesn’t prohibit it, the President can do it” assertion which started the tearing down of the Constitutional order.

On the other hand, this puts Democrats in the pickle of either going along with it, or suing in court to allow people to be evicted and get lower unemployment benefits. And that, to me, is key. Since we really don’t live under the Constitution any longer, might as well do what we can to ensure our continued power. Because if the Democrats do win in November and take back the Senate, you can rely on it they’ll just pack the Supreme Court as needed and simply annul anything which prevents them from winning. Our primary action right now is defensive: keeping them away. But, also, we will have a small chance of restoring the Republic…but to do that, we’ll need power. I figure it’s 50/50 we’ll eventually install a Lenin or Franco (depending on which side wins) to take over because we, as a people, seem to be growing weary and afraid of governing ourselves. If I gotta have a dictator, then of course I want my dictator. But I’d rather have a Republic…and keeping the Democrats out for another eight or so years just might give us the ability to do so.

Bubonic plague spreads in China. This is pretty bad; but not so bad for us as bubonic plague requires lots of filth to spread…fortunately, garbage isn’t piling up in New York City as the government there collapses due to the Communist mayor’s deliberate and malicious actions. Oh, wait.

It gets really bad if it turns into pneumonic plague; then its human-to-human transmission and tens of millions will die.

Speaking of New York, the Upper West Side has become a garbage dump as the Commie mayor moved homeless people into vacated hotels. It is getting very 1970’s these days in New York City. I’d like to feel sympathy for the people of New York, but I can’t. They voted for the Commie mayor. Twice. They thought it would be so cool and hip to vote for a hard-core Commie! What they apparently didn’t realize is that Commies are serious people…and no matter how much you donate to their campaigns or how much money you slide over to them in various grifts, in the end, Lenin despoils you of all your property and sends you to Gulag.

Oddly, this was reported in the Daily Mail and not a major American MSM outfit: Trump supporters rally in….wait for it….Beverly Hills. I’ve seen some video clips. No, they are not massive rallies…but, they are rallies. And it does take some guts to proclaim your support for Trump in places like Beverly Hills and West Hollywood. Now, don’t get cocky here. I have seen people theorizing about California going red. This will not happen. But I do believe this is an indication that even in the deep blue areas, people are getting fed up with ‘Rona lockdowns (which are arbitrary and senseless and seem to only really hit at things normals like to do…whether its going to church or going out for a drink) and endless riots. Also, as many have noticed: there seems to be far more non-white people at these rallies than we see in Black Lives Matter protests.

One of my many concerns about all of this including COVID-19 is not novel—it matches other SARS-2 viruses of the previous few years by almost 80%. Basically, everything government is telling us and doing requires one wears boots to wade through (don’t forget your face diaper). I am not saying it is not dangerous and very contagious but rather than the truth they prefer to push pandemic panic porn on us.

Nevertheless, that wasn’t my original point. Read through Pelosi’s wish list for the coronavirus relief package pushed by Dems & the Media. You only need to read the non-coronavirus related parts to save no time because 90% of it has absolutely nothing to do with the coronavirus. But the scariest is the voting “adjustments” like no voter ID, mass mailings (different than requesting an absentee ballot), no witnesses or notary to the signature, ballot harvesting, etc. Might as well send all ballots for all 50 States directly to the DNC now and save us poor little folks from even having to go through the “trouble” of voting.

I am going in person to vote and we need as many as possible to do the same. We need a large enough win even Hillary Clinton couldn’t deny it any longer. It doesn’t take much searching to find where 100K plus votes have been invalidated or people including postal workers, poll workers and others being arrested for vote fraud. Forgetabout Uncle Freddy’s truck where another 160,000 votes were just found…all Democrat. Fraud is what I fully expect from the left and I can only see one way out which is to turn out and vote in such numbers it cannot be denied. Extra points if you can make an Antifa member cry on the way to the polls. 

Mark, you should dig a little deeper into your story of the released “accused rapist” – it will make your stomach turn on what has happened here in America. Time again for hard time in the public view of these criminals to “correct” thinking before these A-holes are ever to step foot on the same planet where I live.

Well MSNBC just did a hard hitting piece on the virus. They had “exclusive access” to the Wuhan virus and the Chinese official at the lab said that with 100% certainty, the virus did not come from the lab in Wuhan. Additionally, no one at the Wuhan virus has tested positive, so there you go. MSNBC has just cleared that up for everyone.

Just came back from a week in Montana and Glacier Park. It’s pretty much normal life up there folks. and it’s hard not to consider moving up there.

Here’s a statement from black Lt. Governor Garlin Gilchrist:

“Racism has seeped into almost every aspect and every structure that exists in our nation,” Michigan Lt. Gov. Gilchrist says. “We’re going to use all of the tools in our toolbox in state government … to eradicate the barriers that racism has constructed.”

Got that? I don’t know how a black Lt. Governor is elected in such a stacked and racist system, but I am sure the Democrats will tell us about that too. Their ability to spot racism is unmatched.

I thought the main feature of the Obama Administration was the race card, but current Democrats seem to have doubled down on weaponizing racism. The question I have is, isn’t it racist for Joe Biden to say that he will pick a woman for his running mate, and that the color of her skin will be a paramount consideration?

This is worth a mention. The media will ignore it though:

Black Lives Matter Chicago said early Monday’s looting of stores was a form of ‘reparations’ as the group held a protest Monday night in support of the more than 100 people arrested after an evening of violence. Downtown Chicago was otherwise quiet after authorities cut off access, with drawbridges leading into the city pulled up and freeway exits blocked after riots sparked by a false rumor of a child shot by police. At least 13 police officers were injured as the violence claimed an estimated $65 million in property damage. Ariel Atkins, a BLM organizer, called the looting ‘reparations’. ‘I don’t care if someone decides to loot a Gucci or a Macy’s or a Nike store, because that makes sure that person eats,’ Atkins said. ‘That makes sure that person has clothes. ‘Anything they wanted to take, they can take it because these businesses have insurance.’

Got that? Don’t let your white privilege stop these morons from taking what they want. And they think this is a winning message for November??

Come November the Democrat Party will face a repudiation like they have never seen before. The Democrat party has been hijacked by criminals and pedophiles and yet somehow gained an allegiance from unprincipled people whose personal issues of failure, intolerance and hate have led them to abandon all sense of decency. That changes come November.

    • Amazona August 11, 2020 / 4:21 pm

I wonder how long it will be before stores like this simply refuse to do business in towns that encourage looting. People who shop at places like Gucci or Macy’s or even Nike will want to live where the stores are, leaving the inner city to the gangs.

Wow … the ONE honest black female police chief can’t handle the bullshit anymore …

Seattle’s chief of police has announced her resignation just hours after the City Council approved proposals on Monday that would reduce the police department by as many as 100 officers. The action called for by BLM protesters has been strongly opposed by Mayor Jenny Durkan and Police Chief Carmen Best, who later announced her resignation. In a statement shared on social media late Monday night, Best wrote that she will officially step down from her post on September 2. ‘This was a difficult decision for me but when it’s time, it’s time,’ Best wrote, adding that she is ‘confident the department will make it through these difficult times’.

The WOKE Democrat Party has to be stopped by whatever force is necessary.

…we need to turn our attention to the media and education…

You know how we talk about the Left revealing itself if we just give them time? That is happening now with teachers. Forget about them tryingt o cram Leftist social engineering schemes into back-to-work agreements: That’s just the Left being the Left.

I am talking about them having to admit that they are not only indoctrinating our children but fear having the parents find out what they are “teaching”. One teacher, Matthew R. Kay, “… expressed anxiety about teachers’ ability to effectively accomplish their “equality/inclusion work” over Zoom calls when they can’t be sure who is overhearing them…” Some teachers want to use online venues that will not let parents track the sources of what is being taught to their children. Others demand that laptop cameras be left on at all times, so the teachers can see who else is in the room during sessions.

I think this should be the focal point of a presidential speech to the nation. This is serious stuff. We have teachers essentially admitting they are going behind the backs of parents to teach things they KNOW the parents will not approve. That is abuse of power and should be stopped, immediately.

Kay said the quiet part out loud. That should be all parents need to know to break the left’s education monopoly once and for all.

People in two towns in Colorado, just a few miles apart, have been paying attention and decided they were going to deal with Antifa in a way that didn’t leave much room for rioting.

In Berthoud, which is in Boulder County just as side note, potential rioters were herded out of town by civilians on horseback. In Fort Collins, they were herded on foot, till one attacked someone in a wheelchair and then it was ON. There was rolling around and punching, and then when the cops showed up a couple of Lefties did something that got them arrested. This group may have been a little unnerved by the reminder to the citizens to not shoot anyone.

  14. dbschmidt August 11, 2020 / 6:40 pm

I have two questions I cannot find answers for that I thought I would ask here–not trying to be anything but serious.

    1) Why does everyone (almost everyone–to make it fair) that is a version of mulatto (one black parent/ one white) describe themselves as black? Best answer I can come up with is there is no privilege or benefit in being white.

    2) What exactly are people that are Asymptomatic SARS-CoV-2 infected?. Aside from a Typhoid Mary, are they sick or well. After the mandatory 14-days in Joe Biden’s basement and then emerging from Cuomo’s basement all better–what are they then? Do not appear to be in the sick or recovered categories with regard to government numbers. Then again most of the government numbers with this not “novel” virus are total sh*t anyway.

This has always bothered me too and of course the answer is they do it because they get more attention, more street credibility, and more government assistance by being a minority. Locally, I see that same dynamic with Hispanics who have one white parent, which there are a lot of here in Phoenix. I know a few of them personally and they ALL identify as hispanic and celebrate that ethnicity without one acknowledgement of their white heritage. It’s a mental illness fostered and encouraged by our society.

This absolutely warms my heart. We can talk and talk and talk about how destructive Democrat WOKE policies are, but nothing ever said has the impact of the reality of those policies. What Democrats have done to NY is an absolute crime:

    – Business leaders warn that NYC is facing a crisis of historic proportions
    – Pandemic, lockdowns and soaring crime have prompted mass exodus
    – Many retail chains have permanently closed branches in Manhattan
    – Job listings in the city have plunged 36% from last year, and rents are falling
    – Hundreds of thousands have left the city as remote work stretches into months
    – Many say they will never return, and there are fears recovery could take years

DeBlasio has destroyed the tax base and worse yet, he doesn’t care. He recently said that he doesn’t need to “beg people to live in NY”.

For four months, the Victoria’s Secret flagship store at Herald Square in Manhattan has been closed and not paying its $937,000 monthly rent.

Facts and attitudes like these can not be denied or spun. The RNC needs to run a 60 second spot showing the current status of cities like NY, Minneapolis, Seattle and Portland. Democrats have officially turned those cities into “third world shit holes”

Some would show feces built up on city streets. Some would show vast homeless camps.
Some would show riots. Some would show boarded-up storefronts. Some would show revenue charts. Some would show real estate values. Some would show closed schools. Some would show teachers’ union demands. Some would show the House demands regarding COVID compensations. Some would show funerals of police officers. Some would show defaced historical monuments. And so on. I would have a catchy tune, the same for all of them, and flood all network and cable stations with them.

7/13/18 . Former Vice President ……….. warned “silence is complicity” when faced with abuse of power.

Aug 27, 2019 · Biden, who launched his campaign focused on defeating President Donald Trump, warned that “silence is complicity.”

Nov 26, 2019 · It is important to Ashley Biden that the clothing business she developed help those in need. “My dad always taught me that silence is complicity, and that I must stand up for anyone who was being treated unfairly. That has stayed with me through adulthood, and is the guiding principle in my professional life,” Biden told Delaware Today.

This three word platitude has been part of the Biden playbook for quite a while now, and he brought it up again today in his speech, now saying it was a lesson he learned from his father.

When I heard him say that, I wondered why he was letting the RNC write his speech for him, and then I got home and did a quick search to find out he has said it a lot. The reason I had the RNC thought was that this seems like a very stupid thing for him to make a centerpiece of his campaign, as it opens the door to a lot of questions about the many areas where he has been silent and the ability to assert that this means, in his own words, that he has been complicit in them.

Just off the top of my head I can come up with several things about which he was notably silent: The use of government agencies to spy on American citizens, including the use of faked information paid for by the DNC; the massacre in Benghazi; all of Hillary’s many crimes and misadventures regarding her illegal email server and subsequent violations of court orders (this would be a good time to find out if Biden ever emailed her on that server); Burisma; the recent riots: and so on. He has apparently been complicit in all these things.

Jim Geraghty swooned: You know, whatever else you think of Kamala Harris, it’s pretty amazing and awesome that immigrants can come to the U.S., meet, marry, have a child, and their daughter can grow up to be DA, state attorney general, U.S. Senator, and on a presidential ticket.

Wait a minute: Questions were asked about her status as a Natural Born Citizen back when she was running for the nomination, and that seems to be overlooked now.

There is no information as to when Kamala Harris’s parents got their US citizenship. Her mother immigrated to the US in 1960 from India and her father immigrated to the US in 1961 from Jamaica . Usually people immigrate when they get their working visas or Green Cards. It takes 5-6 years to get a US citizenship after getting a Green Card.

And it usually takes 7-33 months to get a green card. Factor in that many people here on work permits don’t immediately apply for permanent residency (green cards) so that figure only applies after the application is made. Then the kicker: To become U.S. citizens, foreigners must first become permanent residents (green card holders). Legal residents can apply for U.S. citizenship, but after five years of being green card holders.

Applicants need to show that they were present in the U.S. for 30 months within the five year period.

No matter when in 1960 her parents emigrated to the United States, they had to become legal citizens (green card holders), which could take anywhere from 7 to 33 months, and THEN wait another five years to APPLY for citizenship.

She was born in 1964. Therefore it is highly likely that neither of her parents was a citizen at the time of her birth, reopening the same can of worms dismissed by the Left when similar questions were raised about Barack Obama. At least he was born to a citizen

Snopes pretended to address this when the question was brought up during the primary, but muddled it so thoroughly that this appeared to be purposeful, misleadingly claiming “Under the common law principle of jus soli (law of the soil), persons born on English soil, even of two alien parents, were “natural born” subjects and, as noted by the Supreme Court, this “same rule” was applicable in the American colonies and “in the United States afterwards, and continued to prevail under the Constitution …” with respect to citizens.”

In fact, “jus solis” refers to citizenship but does not address what is obviously a specific state of citizenship, Natural Born Citizenship. Snopes claimed the matter had been settled by the United States Supreme Court, which is a common claim but not true, as that ruling addressed citizenship by birth but NOT “Natural Born” citizenship. The ruling said “Wong Kim Ark, 169 U.S. 649 (1898), was a landmark decision of the US Supreme Court ruling that “a child born in the United States, of parents of Chinese descent, who, at the time of his birth, are subjects of the Emperor of China, but have a permanent domicil and residence in the United States, and are there carrying on business, and are not employed in any diplomatic or official capacity under the Emperor of China”, automatically became a U.S. citizen at birth. This ruling has been questioned based on the wording of the 14th Amendment, which grants citizenship to people born in this country to parents “subject to the jurisdiction thereof” and the parents in the Wong Kim Ark case were identified by the Court as being “subjects of the Emperor of China,” but in any case the ruling does not address the assertion that the specificity of the term “Natural Born Citizen” means a different level of citizenship, one of a person born to at least one citizen parent.

Great… now the Dems have come up with another way to sow conflict and chaos.

    • Amazona August 12, 2020 / 11:03 pm

The Founders relied very heavily on the writings of Emmerich de Vattel in their discussions and decisions. There is ample evidence of their citing of Vattel,
      Emphasis mine

The Law of Nations or The Principles of the Laws of Nature

The Law of Nations, or, principles of the law of nature, applied to the conduct and affairs of nations and sovereigns. ………………. This book is referred to many times as the law of nations in the course of all the Constitutional Conventions and the other writings of the founders. It was the leading source on International law and treaties.

From the book The Law of Nations or the Principles of Natural Law (1758)
      Emmerich de Vattel

      § 212. Citizens and natives.

The citizens are the members of the civil society; bound to this society by certain duties, and subject to its authority, they equally participate in its advantages. The natives, or natural-born citizens, are those born in the country, of parents who are citizens. As the society cannot exist and perpetuate itself otherwise than by the children of the citizens, those children naturally follow the condition of their fathers, and succeed to all their rights. The society is supposed to desire this, in consequence of what it owes to its own preservation; and it is presumed, as matter of course, that each citizen, on entering into society, reserves to his children the right of becoming members of it. The country of the fathers is therefore that of the children; and these become true citizens merely by their tacit consent. We shall soon see whether, on their coming to the years of discretion, they may renounce their right, and what they owe to the society in which they were born. I say, that, in order to be of the country, it is necessary that a person be born of a father who is a citizen; for, if he is born there of a foreigner, it will be only the place of his birth, and not his country.

Certainly one might disagree with this belief, but that is not the point. The point is that this is the underlying concept and foundation and explanation for the use of the term Natural Born Citizen in our Constitution, and why it refers only to those born to citizen parents.

      • Retired Spook August 13, 2020 / 9:37 am

The fact is that being born to citizen parents (most Constitutional law experts concede that one citizen parent is sufficient — ie., Ted Cruz) is the major determining factor, not the place of birth. That’s why John McCain was able to run for President, even though he was born in the Canal Zone while his naval officer father was stationed there.
