Harris was picked because of her skin color and gender. That’s it. That is all she brings to the table. It is all she’s ever brought to the table. She has no accomplishments; no intellect…nothing except the right amount of melanin, the right internal plumbing and a (D) after her name in California.

In a normal world, President Trump would get a Peace Prize for the dealhe brokered between UAE and Israel…which does seem to be the precursor to the general recognition of Israel by the Arab powers. Only Iran and their proxies will be left out in the cold. Keep in mind: this was done and no one had a clue. In the crucial matters, the Trump Administration does not leak. Keep that in mind the next time an MSMer says “sources” are saying something. They either don’t have a source, or they are being played.

Let’s hope it works out…and now I think I see why Jared Kushner has been targeted of late. He’s been central to Trump’s dealings with the Middle East and someone got wind that something as in the works…someone who doesn’t like Trump and Israel, and so tried to play up an anti-Semitic angle against Trump’s son-in-law.

Sean Ono Lennon is…a bit red-pilled. I’ve been seeing his comments of late on Twitter…he’s, of course, got a deep respect for his father but he also doesn’t seem to have any illusions. He also seems to have a first-rate mind. Credit Yoko with raising a kid who knows how to think.

The thing about ‘Rona testing “errors” is that the error always seems to be an over-count. They are just making stuff up, guys.

A man murders, execution style, a 5 year old child. Rather newsworthy event, don’t you think? But you haven’t heard it, have you? Because the child was white and the man was black. Had it been the other way around, you would have heard about it – endlessly. I bring this up not to shove more horror into your daily life but to once again, and very graphically, illustrate what I’ve been saying: the MSM lies. They lie all the time. They lie about everything. No matter how one looks at this story, it is a major story…it is something for headlines and to lead the national TV reports and for a series of think pieces…but, nothing. Because it doesn’t fit the Narrative. Nothing outside the Narrative will be reported in the MSM…what you are getting in the MSM is a completely false idea of what is actually happening in America. The riots and the ‘Rona and all of that: just an op. The MSM saying what the DNC has ordered them to say because the DNC believes that such will help defeat Trump on November 3rd. And, who knows?, maybe it will: but it still won’t make what the MSM says true. For all we know, Trump is actually poised for a landslide victory: we won’t know until the votes are counted. The MSM will not report a reality which is working well for Trump…if they have to simply make up things out of whole cloth to make things look bad for Trump, that is what they will do.

Irony alert: George Will and David Frumm are currently on MSNBC accusing Trump supporters of “abandoning their conservative principles” !!!

For as smart as I use to think George Will was, his self awareness is abysmal. This has been a hell of a battle over the last 3 and half years. We have had traitors within our ranks, we have had a cabal of media/entertainment/political elite do everything possible to undermine our “America first agenda” to the point that Democrats are literally in streets burning down our cities. I never thought I would see anything like this, but keep the Faith …… we will prevail once again.

The irony is that, while the Left seems incredulous (secondary irony) that Evangelical Christians support Trump, Trump has been a better friend to Evangelicals than any President in my memory. Also they have claimed in the past that Trump is an insatiable womanizer, and rapist, and yet there’s hasn’t been a hint of sexual scandal while he’s been President, unlike a certain Democrat President from a couple decades back. Meanwhile, as you note,Democrats are attempting to burn American down — literally. I have confidence that there are enough common sense Americans left to see the clear choice we’re faced with.

    Didn’t I say this? A lot?

Like many other experts, they think the science has unquestionably shown President Trump’s early enthusiasm for hydroxychloroquine was on the money and a huge percentage of U.S COVID-19 fatalities would be alive today if not for Fauci’s bizarre determination to suppress it.

But don’t just blame Fauci. Blame the entire Left, mostly their strident voices, the Agenda Media. Fauci was not out there with huge headlines telling people if they took hydroxychloroquine they would DIE!

If the Right had a coherent voice, it would be putting together, at this very moment, a list of people with those deaths on their hands, a list starting with Pelosi and Schumer, going through every single Lefty talking head on TV and ending with the names of the media whores which published, day after day, lies about the drug and its alleged dangers.

Governors banned the use of the drug in some states. Pharmacies refused to honor prescriptions for it. Doctors refused to prescribe it. Why? Because every life saved by this drug could be used to support the belief that the president was right. People died for the ideology of the Left. This is the message that we have to hammer home.

    But we don’t.

You bring up an interesting point. In a video by Frontline Doctors, Dr. Simone Gold makes the point that HCQ is over-the-counter in Sub-Saharan Africa because of the prevalence of Malaria for which HCQ was first formulated. The population of Sub-Saharan Africa is 1,094,365.629, or a little over 3 times the population of the United States. Their COVID-19 death toll is 17,719 (two thirds of which is South Africa) or a little over one tenth of our death toll. The numbers pretty much speak for themselves.

That members of a political party, aided by their willing allies in the media, would deliberately sacrifice tens of thousands of lives to further a political agenda, while not surprising (and historically not new), is about the most repugnant thing I can think of. It’s not hard to imagine what they would do if given complete power. It’s likely that none of these people will be punished in this life, and I have zero empathy for them if, as I believe, there is something after this life.

      • Amazona August 17, 2020 / 5:03 pm

A reason given for the much lower incidence of COVID-19 in Africa is that HCQ is taken as a prophylactic. The woman the doctor quoted said they take a dose “every Sunday”.

Just imagine the different outcome if millions of Americans had been encouraged to do this—and if those who did contract the virus were given the 3-drug cocktail immediately upon diagnosis.

Imagine the shift in the election outcome if every American were to be encouraged, now, to start taking HCQ to keep from catching the virus. I’d do it, in a heartbeat. Sure beats wearing a face diaper and watching my blood oxygen go from 96 to 87. (I bought a pulse oximeter after earlier comments on lower blood oxygen levels and once I saw how low mine went after wearing a mask I said “no more”. When I have had to, I have only covered my mouth and breathed through my nose, though a black-clad Mask Cop at Sam’s Club ordered me to wear it “right”. Which I did for 20 feet till I was around the corner.)

I want so badly to see a speech on this, pointing fingers and naming names.

Continuing the “insanity” theme from earlier in this thread, what does it say about a political party that encourages (or at least doesn’t DIScourage) the tearing down of statues of the Father of the Country, George Washington, because he owned slaves, but picks a woman whose ancestors owned lots of slaves for VP? It appears many in the Jackass Party are just now discovering this and going WTF!

How many Liberals have we each encountered in our lives who have exhibited indignant anger at accusations that they are not patriotic? I’d say in most cases those accusations are justified.

  5. Amazona August 17, 2020 / 9:04 pm

Time for another big speech to be written. Not that it will—-Fantasyland is pretty far off, when thinking of communication skills on the Right. But, for what it’s worth:

Nearly 135,000 acres of Colorado are now burning, out of control. Many of these fires, the Williams Peak and Cameron Pass fires in particular, are fed by millions of beetle killed pine trees.

Why does this call for an educational speech to the nation? Because at least the two fires I mentioned, plus others that are smaller or contained, are the direct result of mismanagement by the Forest Service, and that mismanagement has been driven by the agency’s Leftist political agenda.

In 1997, hurricane-force winds downed some 6 million trees in the Routt National Forest, many of them old growth, and cut a swath 25 miles long and several miles wide. That’s a lot of trees. 20,000 acres of downed timber posed quite a problem for the Forest Service.

As the magnitude of the event sinks in, agency officials, local timber industry and environmentalists are already bracing themselves for the difficult management decisions ahead. How will the blowdown affect wildlife, water quality and recreation? Should the area be left to recover on its own? Should loggers be able to remove some or all of the downed timber before its market value disappears?

Complicating these decisions is the political landscape. Of the 20,000 acres affected, some 12,000 acres lie within the federally protected Mount Zirkel Wilderness. The remaining 8,000 acres are on national forest lands that have seen occasional logging, as well as motorized vehicle use.

On top of the Forest Service’s list of concerns is the threat of a spruce bark-beetle epidemic. Beetles love downed timber for food and egg-laying habitat, and this blowdown could give them ideal conditions for up to six years, Averill says. “And once they eat their way through the downed material, they will start attacking live trees.”

Predictably, the enviros screeched to high heaven about possibly violating the sanctity of a wilderness area—typically nonchalant about the Unintended Consequence of such a stupid approach, including an explosion of beetles and there is the possibility of catastrophic fires as the downed wood slowly dries out over the next several years. Blowdowns notoriously burn hotter than healthy live forests.

    But….WILDERNESS !!!

Well, the Forest Service caved. The downed trees were not sold to logging companies and cleared out before they hatched hundreds of millions of ravenous pine beetles. They were not sold to become lumber for the nation, in spite of the Forest Service charter which established the Service not to be a wilderness area but to provide an ongoing source of timber for the nation, as well as to protect watersheds and also, BTW, places for recreation. Urban weenies fretting about the icky old diesel exhaust of logging equipment squealed so loudly that the already Left-leaning Forest Service gave in, leading to hundreds of miles of highways passing through stark landscapes of dead trees, recreation halted as it was too dangerous to go into these areas as the trees were so unstable, and the possibility of revenue from harvesting the trees dropping year by year as the wood became too dried out and checked from constant movement to be usable for construction and too dried out to have enough BTUs for good firewood.

Well, these weenies ain’t never seen pollution till they have seen a forest fire, dumping literally tons of soot and ash into the sky every minute. Towns a hundred miles away are so smoky it is affecting health and everything is covered in ash. At least one community, Fraser, is being prepped for evacuation but other towns are in that general direction of that fire, which can shift at any time. Animals are being burned to death. Peoples’ lives are in danger. Property is being destroyed. The mountains are going to be bare and stark for years. The heat from the fires will harden the soil into almost concrete-like conditions, so rain and snow melt will not sink in but will run downhill, washing ash into streams and killing fish and smothering fish eggs.

And we need to be told, and then told again, and constantly reminded that this is what happens when the Left is in charge.

But that’s OK for the so-called “environmentalists” who are represented by morons like Jeff Kessler, director of the Biodiversity Associates, a group that has fought some timber sales in the area of the blowdown. Kessler says the Forest Service should avoid logging the blowdown area altogether and instead focus on gathering scientific information. “This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for scientific research,” he says. He doesn’t live here. He doesn’t have to live with the consequences of his airy-fairy abstract concept of the benefits of “scientific research”. He wasn’t too interested in the scientific research about how downed trees feed pine beetle population explosions, or the science that says dead wood burns really really easily. I wonder if Jeff is still around. I’d like to see him interviewed on how well his goofball ideas have turned out.

My wife and I were discussing the substance of my post yesterday that the Left’s war on HCQ has literally cost the lives of tens of thousands of Americans — all for political gain. Now it’s not exactly the same as if the socialists gained complete control and rounded up everyone like me, shot us in the head and shoved us in a trench, but the bottom line is they’re all still dead. How does one rationalize being part of that, tacitly supporting it or even just looking the other way? The more I think about it the angrier I get. I’ve always sensed that it would eventually happen here, but I had hoped I would not live to see the day that it did.

Well I know a gal who did die from WITH Covid. She had a terrible pre existing asthma condition but she went into the hospital and never came out. Family could not see her and who knows what the doctors were doing. I am convinced the hospital was complicit in her demise. She was just another number. If you get Covid, DO NOT go to the hospital. They have too many incentives to see it get worse.

Well here’s more real time evidence of how Democrats govern, and what you can expect from this country if they win:

Up to one million homes and businesses in California were expected to lose power Monday as part of rolling blackouts to ease pressure on the state’s electric grid as a days-long heat wave engulfing the West Coast creates an energy shortage. The rolling blackouts – which also occurred over the weekend – come as dozens of fires broke out in the state Monday due to lighting storms, hot winds and high temperatures. The California Independent System Operator said it would likely order utility companies to turn off power later Monday as demand for electricity to cool homes soars during the hottest part of the day beyond the power available in the grid. ‘I know that that´s going to be highly disruptive to people. I truly, truly wish there were other options that we had at hand,’ California ISO CEO and President Steve Berberich said.

So stay at home orders, no in person school, no sports, not much outdoor activity, and now rolling blackouts. California is certainly the model for Democrats. They should be proud

Spook, I am sure if questioned everyone will deny responsibility, everyone just “reporting what The Other Guy said”. In a cross examination scenario, though, with tough interrogators, it should come out that the facts about the safety of HCQ were available to anyone who spent a little time looking.

This is the best chance we have had to take down the Agenda Media–all of them, from the NYT to the TV talking heads. Anyone who announced that taking HCQ would KILL them is culpable, and many did.

This would be a good time for the president to say “Congress has a tendency to investigate all sorts of things. Just look at the hundreds of hours and millions of dollars the House spent last year running their sham investigation into something they knew all along was not real. But here we have something Congress HAS to investigate—the unnecessary deaths of possibly tens of thousands of people because many of the media falsely promoted the lie that hydroxychloroquine is dangerous, is deadly, and that taking it would kill people Many of us knew better but we could not compete with the tsunami of false information dumped on the public all day every day by prominent newspapers and the Fake News stations on television. We had the Speaker of the House telling Americans hydroxychloroquine “has not been approved by the scientists” when it had been approved by the FDA decades ago, used successfully and was recommended by many “scientists”. (Just not Democrat “scientists”.) If lives were endangered or sacrificed to promote a political agenda, this is something Congress absolutely HAS to look into and it will be a priority of the next Trump administration.”

  10. Cluster August 19, 2020 / 8:07 am

Well of course I didn’t watch the convention … I mean who can watch that shit but the statement from AOC last night really revealed a lot about everything that’s wrong with the Democrat Party. In 60 seconds, Sandy showed America what a contemptible and unsavory group of people Progressive Democrats have become.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez used her one-minute speaking slot during the second night of the Democratic National Convention Tuesday evening to nominate progressive Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders as president. ‘In a time when millions of people in the United States are looking for deep, systemic solutions to our crises of mass evictions, unemployment and lack of healthcare… out of a love of all people, I hereby second the nomination of Senator Bernard Sanders of Vermont for President of the United States of America,’ Ocasio-Cortez said. The New York representative seconding the motion came after labor leader and activist Bob King, also a proponent of the progressive movement, issued a nomination for Sanders.

First of all, instead of showing respect for the party which predates her by a couple of hundred years, AOC took her limited opportunity to once again be the snot nosed brat and nominate someone other than the party backed candidate. Secondly, the lies she routinely says never are challenged. Democrats are the few people in this country who can say anything their emotionally challenged minds can conjure up and they are never challenged on those assertions. Take for example the “crisis of mass evictions” (completely made up), or total “lack of healthcare” lines which everyone knows are bullshit but AOC gets away with it and her drooling Marxist wannabe’s follow along.

Young Progressives have a day of reckoning coming. Unfortunately, they have been taught and convinced that they know everything and anyone who opposes them only have ulterior and nefarious motives. And what they have been taught is 90% bullshit, so here we have an ignorant and weaponized generation that we will have to contend with thanks to our Democrat educational system.

The Democrat activists on MSNBC (which is all of them) are getting quite comical. Their latest narrative this morning is that “Trump is in over his head” …. “Trump is incapable of performing the job”. Now this narrative might get some traction in the faculty lounges of Ivy league schools and amongst diversity training seminar hosts but to the rest of us, this is a level of delusion that’s hard to wrap your head around. In just 3 short years, Trump had this country in the best shape economically that any POTUS has ever accomplished, and in terms of foreign policy no POTUS has ever cut new “favorable” trade deals, ended pointless wars, or brought the Middle East to the verge of peace like Trump has, so to even suggest he isn’t “up for the job” just exposes a level of extreme ignorance or extreme partisanship … or both.

And I will admit, after being subjected to the DNC Convention this week I can honestly say that I hate Democrats now more than I ever have. I have no interest in sharing a country with them.

Yes George. It’s dangerous when political party leaders are held to the demands of their constituents. We are real close to an oligarchy, something of which the Democrat Party and NeverTrumpers are bound and determined to preserve. By all means necessary.

    • Retired Spook August 20, 2020 / 8:02 pm

The Republican Democrat Party today lives in terror of its voters.

Fixed. Talk about a lack of self-awareness. Trump’s approval rating among Republicans has consistently been in the 90’s. Not sure where the “terror” part come in unless it’s the terror that Democrats are feeling about the possibility that 15 or 20% of blacks will vote for Trump.

    • Amazona August 23, 2020 / 1:07 am

“The Republican Party today lives in terror of its voters” can only begin to make sense if one admits that the party has not been acting in the best interests of its voters.

So my question would be “if that is true, why do you act as if that is a bad thing? Wouldn’t it be proof that the party apparatus has strayed from the ideological principles of the party, disappointing its voters?”

As the voters supported and elected someone the party apparatus did not like, support or even remotely approve of, the question should be “which entity should change—-the party apparatus or the voters?” And I think the voters have a good response to that. Mr. Will’s problem is that he is on the wrong side
