In a normal world, President Trump would get a Peace Prize for the dealhe brokered between UAE and Israel…which does seem to be the precursor to the general recognition of Israel by the Arab powers. The irony is that, while the Left seems incredulous (secondary irony) that Evangelical Christians support Trump, Trump has been a better friend to Evangelicals than any President in my memory. Also they have claimed in the past that Trump is an insatiable womanizer, and rapist, and yet there’s hasn’t been a hint of sexual scandal while he’s been President, unlike a certain Democrat President from a couple decades back. Meanwhile, as you note,Democrats are attempting to burn American down — literally. I have confidence that there are enough common sense Americans left to see the clear choice we’re faced with.

If the Right had a coherent voice, it would be putting together, at this very moment, a list of people with those deaths on their hands, a list starting with Pelosi and Schumer, going through every single Lefty talking head on TV and ending with the names of the media whores which published, day after day, lies about the drug and its alleged dangers.

Governors banned the use of the drug in some states. Pharmacies refused to honor prescriptions for it. Doctors refused to prescribe it. Why? Because every life saved by this drug could be used to support the belief that the president was right. People died for the ideology of the Left. This is the message that we have to hammer home.

You bring up an interesting point. In a video by Frontline Doctors, Dr. Simone Gold makes the point that HCQ is over-the-counter in Sub-Saharan Africa because of the prevalence of Malaria for which HCQ was first formulated. The population of Sub-Saharan Africa is 1,094,365.629, or a little over 3 times the population of the United States. Their COVID-19 death toll is 17,719 (two thirds of which is South Africa) or a little over one tenth of our death toll. The numbers pretty much speak for themselves.
That members of a political party, aided by their willing allies in the media, would deliberately sacrifice tens of thousands of lives to further a political agenda, while not surprising (and historically not new), is about the most repugnant thing I can think of. It’s not hard to imagine what they would do if given complete power. It’s likely that none of these people will be punished in this life, and I have zero empathy for them if, as I believe, there is something after this life.
A reason given for the much lower incidence of COVID-19 in Africa is that HCQ is taken as a prophylactic. The woman the doctor quoted said they take a dose “every Sunday”.
Just imagine the different outcome if millions of Americans had been encouraged to do this—and if those who did contract the virus were given the 3-drug cocktail immediately upon diagnosis.
Imagine the shift in the election outcome if every American were to be encouraged, now, to start taking HCQ to keep from catching the virus. I’d do it, in a heartbeat. Sure beats wearing a face diaper and watching my blood oxygen go from 96 to 87. (I bought a pulse oximeter after earlier comments on lower blood oxygen levels and once I saw how low mine went after wearing a mask I said “no more”. When I have had to, I have only covered my mouth and breathed through my nose, though a black-clad Mask Cop at Sam’s Club ordered me to wear it “right”. Which I did for 20 feet till I was around the corner.)
I want so badly to see a speech on this, pointing fingers and naming names.
Continuing the “insanity” theme from earlier in this thread, what does it say about a political party that encourages (or at least doesn’t DIScourage) the tearing down of statues of the Father of the Country, George Washington, because he owned slaves, but picks a woman whose ancestors owned lots of slaves for VP? Time for another big speech to be written. Not that it will—-Fantasyland is pretty far off, when thinking of communication skills on the Right. But, for what it’s worth:
Nearly 135,000 acres of Colorado are now burning, out of control. Many of these fires, the Williams Peak and Cameron Pass fires in particular, are fed by millions of beetle killed pine trees.
Why does this call for an educational speech to the nation? Because at least the two fires I mentioned, plus others that are smaller or contained, are the direct result of mismanagement by the Forest Service, and that mismanagement has been driven by the agency’s Leftist political agenda.
In 1997, hurricane-force winds downed some 6 million trees in the Routt National Forest, many of them old growth, and cut a swath 25 miles long and several miles wide. That’s a lot of trees. 20,000 acres of downed timber posed quite a problem for the Forest Service.
As the magnitude of the event sinks in, agency officials, local timber industry and environmentalists are already bracing themselves for the difficult management decisions ahead. How will the blowdown affect wildlife, water quality and recreation? Should the area be left to recover on its own? Should loggers be able to remove some or all of the downed timber before its market value disappears?
Complicating these decisions is the political landscape. Of the 20,000 acres affected, some 12,000 acres lie within the federally protected Mount Zirkel Wilderness. The remaining 8,000 acres are on national forest lands that have seen occasional logging, as well as motorized vehicle use.
On top of the Forest Service’s list of concerns is the threat of a spruce bark-beetle epidemic. Beetles love downed timber for food and egg-laying habitat, and this blowdown could give them ideal conditions for up to six years, Averill says. “And once they eat their way through the downed material, they will start attacking live trees.”
Predictably, the enviros screeched to high heaven about possibly violating the sanctity of a wilderness area—typically nonchalant about the Unintended Consequence of such a stupid approach, including an explosion of beetles and there is the possibility of catastrophic fires as the downed wood slowly dries out over the next several years. Blowdowns notoriously burn hotter than healthy live forests.
But….WILDERNESS !!!
Well, the Forest Service caved. The downed trees were not sold to logging companies and cleared out before they hatched hundreds of millions of ravenous pine beetles. They were not sold to become lumber for the nation, in spite of the Forest Service charter which established the Service not to be a wilderness area but to provide an ongoing source of timber for the nation, as well as to protect watersheds and also, BTW, places for recreation. Urban weenies fretting about the icky old diesel exhaust of logging equipment squealed so loudly that the already Left-leaning Forest Service gave in, leading to hundreds of miles of highways passing through stark landscapes of dead trees, recreation halted as it was too dangerous to go into these areas as the trees were so unstable, and the possibility of revenue from harvesting the trees dropping year by year as the wood became too dried out and checked from constant movement to be usable for construction and too dried out to have enough BTUs for good firewood.
Well, these weenies ain’t never seen pollution till they have seen a forest fire, dumping literally tons of soot and ash into the sky every minute. Towns a hundred miles away are so smoky it is affecting health and everything is covered in ash. At least one community, Fraser, is being prepped for evacuation but other towns are in that general direction of that fire, which can shift at any time. Animals are being burned to death. Peoples’ lives are in danger. Property is being destroyed. The mountains are going to be bare and stark for years. The heat from the fires will harden the soil into almost concrete-like conditions, so rain and snow melt will not sink in but will run downhill, washing ash into streams and killing fish and smothering fish eggs.
And we need to be told, and then told again, and constantly reminded that this is what happens when the Left is in charge.
But that’s OK for the so-called “environmentalists” who are represented by morons like Jeff Kessler, director of the Biodiversity Associates, a group that has fought some timber sales in the area of the blowdown. Kessler says the Forest Service should avoid logging the blowdown area altogether and instead focus on gathering scientific information. “This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for scientific research,” he says. He doesn’t live here. He doesn’t have to live with the consequences of his airy-fairy abstract concept of the benefits of “scientific research”. He wasn’t too interested in the scientific research about how downed trees feed pine beetle population explosions, or the science that says dead wood burns really really easily. I wonder if Jeff is still around. I’d like to see him interviewed on how well his goofball ideas have turned out.

My wife and I were discussing the substance of my post yesterday that the Left’s war on HCQ has literally cost the lives of tens of thousands of Americans — all for political gain. Now it’s not exactly the same as if the socialists gained complete control and rounded up everyone like me, shot us in the head and shoved us in a trench, but the bottom line is they’re all still dead. How does one rationalize being part of that, tacitly supporting it or even just looking the other way? The more I think about it the angrier I get. I’ve always sensed that it would eventually happen here, but I had hoped I would not live to see the day that it did.

Well of course I didn’t watch the convention … I mean who can watch that shit but the statement from AOC last night really revealed a lot about everything that’s wrong with the Democrat Party. Secondly, the lies she routinely says never are challenged. Democrats are the few people in this country who can say anything their emotionally challenged minds can conjure up and they are never challenged on those assertions. In just 3 short years, Trump had this country in the best shape economically that any POTUS has ever accomplished, and in terms of foreign policy no POTUS has ever cut new “favorable” trade deals, ended pointless wars, or brought the Middle East to the verge of peace like Trump has, so to even suggest he isn’t “up for the job” just exposes a level of extreme ignorance or extreme partisanship … or both.
