Battles is now out! Get your copy, today!

I’ve got the first draft of the second series already done. Two books: Shadow Army and Kings and Queen. Same characters, set six years after Battles. Probably get them released mid-year.
Just noticed that a quorum for the Senate to do business is 51. Kamala doesn’t count towards it. The GOP, if really pressed on things like abolishing the filibuster and packing the court, can halt all proceedings simply by not being there. It won’t be something which can be done all the time, but on the crucial things which would emasculate even the GOPe’s ability to get things done, Mitch might pull this out of his pocket.
I’ve been watching the erecting of barricades and barbed wire along with the absurd deployment of 26,000 Guardsmen to DC and I’ve taking two things away from it:
- I’m rather disgusted to be an American at the moment. This is simply shameful.
- The government is scared out of its wits.
They know full well that the number who would actually do something for them is tiny. Congress’ approval is at 15%. Joe Biden, even if we want to call him the legit winner (he ain’t) only barely scraped by in the Electoral College by 46,000 votes. The Democrats have bare power to govern, no mandate, and they are held in contempt by half the population.
The China Flu Op is complete and now the Blue State governors and mayors are starting to re-open their States. I thought it would be sooner, but I guess with all the disputes, they waited until after Joe was certified by the Electoral College.
Donald Trump got 75 million votes, 12 million more than in 2016, after a four year campaign of relentless slander with the final year being hit by the ‘Rona and impeachment. Had Trump been treated merely fair by the Ruling Class, he would have got 90 million votes, in my view. I know people who were moving towards Trump but ended up going Joe in the end simply because they felt that doing so would end the insanity (spoiler: it didn’t).
Morocco is awarding Trump their highest award for helping bring about peace in the Middle East. As we all know, the Trump years were most important because they clarified everything. We now know who America’s real allies in the world are.
Biden wants to make the national minimum wage $15. This will be vigorously opposed by the GOP. And I know that 99% of my fellow GOPers are opposed. I am opposed, too. But this is only because Biden is doing it. If we were doing it, I’d be ok with it. The thing about the minimum wage is that it is economic insanity but it is popular. People love it. Whenever it comes up for a vote, the people back it by huge majorities. As Lincoln once said, a commonly held opinion, whether well- or ill-founded cannot lightly be set aside. As we are going to get the higher minimum wage, we should have led the charge on it and used it to get other things we wanted. We have to start thinking like this: we need more votes. Lots more. And this means we need to convince people that if we’re in power, we’ll give them what they want.
The government is scared out of its wits.
They should be!
Well, they did have a head start, being halfwits from the get-go
Spook you know this guy? Thomas E. Caldwell, 65, of Berryville, Va,
Oath Keeper
No
Any of your Oath Keeper friends keep their “Oath”
in DC on 1/6/21?
No one that I know was in D.C. on the 6th. If any member of Oath Keepers participated in the assault on the Capitol, they should be arrested and prosecuted.
Any of your friends support rounding up people like me and sending us to re-education camps? And if so, how should I respond?
Good response. Agreed on the insurrectionists. I don’t have any friends.
I don’t have any friends.
LOL! If anyone NOT your friends trys to round me up and send me off to a re-education camp, how should I respond? How would you respond if the shoe were on the other foot?
i believe if someone is trying to round you up and reeducate you because of your beliefs; you have every right to stop that person including deadly force. Unless your beliefs are against the law, which they are not. Fair
Fair.
It seems this is what we have to look forward to. The internet provided a way for thoughts and ideas to come forward by the average person and break past what was the information highway -TV and newspaper – prior to the internet becoming widely available. Now, that too is being controlled to the point where opposition information is becoming severely restricted.
“The COVID-19 pandemic has provided many governments with an excuse to crack down on journalists who counter government narratives. Globally, at least 14 journalists have been arrested for “unfair and imprecise coverage” of the pandemic
Worldwide, 387 journalists were detained during 2020. Thirty journalists were killed in relation to their work. Of those, 21 were murdered in retaliation for their reporting. Most were covering political topics
China tops the list of countries where suppression of journalism is taking place. As of December 1, 2020, 117 Chinese journalists had been arrested
One of them is Zhang Zhan, a former Shanghai lawyer who was detained May 15, 2020. She’d been posting daily video reports about the Wuhan outbreak on YouTube and Twitter since early February
December 28, 2020, the Shanghai Pudong People’s Court sentenced Zhang to four years in prison for “picking quarrels and provoking trouble”
On December 28, 2020, the Leftist government of China sentenced a woman to prison for Wrongthink.
In January of 2021 Google, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram officially announced their ban on what they determine is Wrongthink
During this period many Leftist politicians and Agenda Media talking heads have announced their desire to punish people for Wrongthink.
Some of us have been warning about the growing power of the Thought Police, and now we are seeing it in action, both in the official Communist nation of China and the nascent Communist nation of the fledgling United Soviet States of America.
A strategy in which the Left has been successful at implementing in the United States through education.

That is a really interesting article, Jeremiah. Thanks for sharing.
You’re welcome!
I don’t often agree with Rand Paul, but I agree with him on this.
The only thing I disagree with is that I think a loss of one third of the Party is a conservative estimate.
Well said.
New phrase: “election denialism “
It’s a pattern, people. Look at the patterns.
For example, building on the real disdain for people who deny that the Holocaust really did kill millions of people (most of whom were killed only because they were Jews) and the dismissive term “Holocaust denier” the Left decided to piggyback on that and apply the term “denier” to anyone who did not obediently bow to whatever nonsense the Left was peddling at the time, hoping to tar such disagreement with the brush of being as ignorant and hateful as those who refuse to acknowledge the crimes of the National Socialist Party in Germany.
So we got “climate change deniers” (a necessary replacement for “global warming deniers” when the natural trend of gradual warming reached its natural end and we entered a natural trend of cooling) and we got “science deniers” And now they are trying out “election deniers” to try to apply the same thin irrational veneer of obdurate refusal to accept reality to those of us who see and understand what happened in the last election.
The Left understands the power of language and how to manipulate it to manipulate the emotions (which too often stand in for intellect) of its targets. And just as the Left offers the shortcut to the Higher Moral Ground through its messaging that being FOR the alleged goals of the movement (equality, fairness, justice, peace and love) is all that is necessary to claim moral superiority it offers a shortcut to the illusion or intellectual superiority through its drumbeat messaging that those who do not buy into its claims are just not very smart.
Think of the carrot/stick concept. The Right believes in the carrot—-we hold out the positive attraction of living in a country based on abundant personal liberty and a government run by and for the people with most authority kept local, and this is our appeal to the public. The Left is always more—-much much more—a “stick” approach. That is, its original appeal to the public is to attack, ridicule, demean and diminish opposing ideas and thoughts (followed in quick succession by intimidation, violence and forced imposition of its ideology).
So regarding the election results, on one hand we have all these observers of the irregularities and outright frauds of the election offering our facts, evidence and general information to the public in an open and transparent effort to let them see for themselves what we find so objectionable. But from the Left we get the sticks—ridicule, sneering, personal attacks, insults, language like “deniers” as if those questioning the election results are simply blind to fact and reason, followed quickly by violence, intimidation and the heavy hand of the government meting out punishments for Wrongthink. We actually see people who want to examine evidence in an open forum being banned from expressing their concerns, much less their evidence, and efforts to remove them from office, get them fired from private sector jobs, physically attacked, threatened with legal action and slandered and libeled as traitors, subversives and criminals.
We need to find a way, if possible, to convey the most basic underlying aspect of this conflict. That is, one side wants to publicly lay out its argument, present its facts, show its evidence, and then when everything is openly displayed for all to see to let the people draw their own conclusions. The position of the other side is to prevent this from happening, to block even discussion of it, through application of the methods I described above. That is, to silence those other voices by any means possible, through verbal violence such as ridicule, verbal attacks, slander and libel and general character assassination, through physical intimidation including threats to the individuals and their families, efforts to remove those people from office, efforts to get them fired from their jobs, even threats to make sure they can’t get other jobs.
I think we need to step away from the specific—in this case, who really won the election—-and base our appeal on the general. That is, on which kind of nation we want for ourselves and our children and grandchildren. One in which every side has the freedom to make its arguments, lay out out its evidence and let the people decide, or one in which a few elites decide what the people can see and hear and which uses harsh and even violent means to silence any voice that has any level of disagreement.
We actually see people who want to examine evidence in an open forum being banned from expressing their concerns, much less their evidence, and efforts to remove them from office, get them fired from private sector jobs, physically attacked, threatened with legal action and slandered and libeled as traitors, subversives and criminals.
We know this is happening, as people have testified that it’s happened to them, and it isn’t just people in the public eye, but ordinary people who have been outspoken in their views. What we don’t know (yet) is how widespread it is, but we do know, or at least can surmise with reasonable certainty, that it’s a trend that cannot continue without reaching a point where everything just collapses. I don’t want to live in such a society.
The thing is, we are not demanding that people agree with us, just that they allow the evidence to be presented and evaluated. To me, a determination to keep that from happening is a tacit admission that if it were out there in its entirety it would prove the fraud and criminality that they absolutely have to keep hidden to support the outcome they created.
Apparently the left is going full steam ahead now calling for the de-platforming of alternate news platforms like OAN and NewsMax. Even Tim Cook, CEO of Apple, has proven the statement “scratch a liberal, find a fascist.” I can go on and on but one video I saw earlier made as much sense as anything on the green zone, red zone of the Nation’s capital (and I picked that term for a reason) is so all the abettors of “truth” like CNN can tell the people what ever they want.
The reason I picked “The Nation’s Capital{” is because after 4 years of walls don’t work–they are talking about leaving the fencing (new & improved 12 ft. from 8 ft.) up and not allowing citizens into the capitol area any longer. This is with the consideration they are “vetting” the National Guard and we now have four times the number of troops in DC than we do in Iraq and Afghanistan combined. Welcome to the New Freedom comrades.
You can see the narrative WRT the inauguration beginning to build. The violent threat from Right-winger extremists was so great that it took two divisions of national guard troops to keep it at bay. Meanwhile, there have been dozens of Conservative protests around the country since the election with NO violence and no destruction of property. Even the rally in D.C. on January 6th was 99% peaceful, and in spite of the assault on the Capitol, there was no looting, no burning (even though an Antifa activist who inserted himself into the mob in the Capitol shouted for them to “burn it down.”
One thing you will not hear from Democrats, at least not for the next two years, is a call for unity and expanded individual liberty. But, as I’ve heard a number of people say, it’ll be nice to get back to normal, normal being:
I’m sure Mark can add a lot more.
I would add “imposition of Soviet-style suppression of free speech” and “imposition of Soviet-style punishment for Wrongthink”
The shrill and hysterical effort to generate a perception of a wildly dangerous armed Right-wing assault on the day of the inauguration is kind of funny, in a sinister kind of way, to watch.
In the meantime Trump has played his hand, which is to make it clear that REAL Trump supporters will be over at the Air Force base saying goodbye to him in a ceremony befitting an honored outgoing president.
I can’ remember the last time my birthday fell on Martin Luther King Day, but it’s kind of a neat present to share a day with a man for whom I had a great deal of respect. It’s sad that the Democrat Party has abandoned the principles that defined his life.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY Spook !!!
As for MLK day, though he did many good things, I think it would be far more appropriate to call this something like Civil Rights Day, as there are a number of people who made significant sacrifice in this regard. Using CRD would give recognition to all of them.
Not sure if the democrat party actually abandoned his principles or if they never really embraced them, just gave platitudes to MLK’s deeds so as to garner support from his followers.
The bad thing about turning 76 is that I’m rapidly approaching that point in my life where I’m too young to quit and too old to fight. And I think there’s a fight coming the likes of which few people can imagine.
Happy birthday, Spook! Hope you have many more!
And I think there’s a fight coming the likes of which few people can imagine.
I agree. I don’t see how it can be avoided, what with the Communist left coming after peoples freedoms, jobs, the Constitution, and the children’s futures. So sad.
A very Happy birthday Spook and many more…
I am not sure the Democrats have abandoned anything as the have almost always been the party of pandering. We can attribute the first Presidential steal to JFK & Cook county although he was a better president than President Asterisk could ever be. Not to worry–Susan Rice will be running the show. The upcoming fight is one of education to create an informed electorate and fair elections. Primary weak and squishy candidates. Plus a grass roots effort like none before. Trump has opened the eyes of many on both sides that see the corruption of DC on both sides and how deep it really runs.
Many will continue to expose those that are against the people for what they are and believe me this is not a left vs. right fight but one of the establishment vs. the people. Of course the working poor and middle classes are going to be the hardest hit in the upcoming administration but I am hoping that everything will unravel so the truth is known and the rats (both sides) have no where to run.
As I have read the great thinkers like Sowell and Willaims, I only wish more minorities could read and understand what they are talking about and how the Democrats have not only held the back but placed them on a new plantation. As I see this same movement every 20 ~ 30 years but never this bold I also see millions that are going to fight back. This is going to be an information war and the left is already trying to consolidate everything to a single “Ministry of Truth”–their truth no matter how blatant the lie is. They want Cronkite “the most trusted name in news” to lead us into another Gulf of Tonkin.
I hear that one new crongresscritter has already stated she will bring articles of impeachment against Biden on day one. Need to couple that with ones for Harris, Pelosi, AOC, imar and every other one that incited violence and/or paid to have “the mostly peaceful protesters” released. This will be a war of sorts and I hope it doesn’t lead to violence and/or succession but let us battle it out in the arena of ideas.
Anyway, hope you had a wonderful birthday and I hope they let me send letters from my Ministry of Truth re-education camp. God bless us all as we will need it in the next couple of years. BTW, tomorrow I might bring up my theory of God testing America as he did the Jews for failing to believe in him.
Yes, Spook—I hope you had a great birthday and let’s pray you have many more. And I would say you still have a lot of fight in you, though that may be a dangerous thing to say in this Brave New World where any use of the word “fight” automatically means advocating for a violent overthrow of the country.
Ben Sasse should read the article linked below:
Liz Cheney’s Inevitable End Gives A Glimpse Into The Future Of The Republican Party
I foresaw the inevitable outcome of the Leftist takeover of our nation, but I never expected it to be so rapid, or so blatant.
First came the reframing of the rowdiness of a handful of Trump supporters, both incited by Leftist infiltrators and then smeared by the violent actions of those infiltrators, as a riot of such immense and terrifying proportions it shook the nation, representing an effort to overthrow the government through violence, wahhhh wahhhh wahhhh. Yeah, so Trump supporters protected the artwork and statues, yeah so Trump supporters tried to calm the overheated, yeah so the number of actual Trump supporters in the mob represented a tiny percentage of those who went to support him, yeah so no fires were set, yeah so the physical damage was minimal, yeah so of the FIVE !!! deaths attributed to the riot only one has been truly linked and that was not at the hands of the rioters, yeah so there was ample proof days before the event that it was being planned by Antifa and Antifa fellow travelers and began before the president even started to speak—–but why bother with facts when this was set up and then dutifully portrayed as a heinous ATTACK ON DEMOCRACY ITSELF !!!
Well, that was over a week ago, and there was a very real danger that the hysteria might dissipate and that reality would set in and people would realize that in the scope of American riots this was actually more of a Riot Lite. There was the threat that people would start to remember the Democrats being quite fine with avowed Marxists (trained in the political theory based on violent overthrow of governments) not only rioting, burning buildings and killing cops but marching in the streets howling their desire to destroy our government and the country itself. They might then find it odd that these same riot apologists (some of whom raised money to get the violent criminals out of jail so they could continue rioting) were suddenly breathless with horror over what they called the “insurrection” and “subversive behavior” and even “TREASON” of some obnoxious people who never uttered a single word about government overthrow, much less destroying property or killing police or any of the other favorite and defended riot themes of the summer.
What to do, oh what to do?
Obviously, that hysteria had to be maintained, even amplified. Enter the whole “We have to protect the nation from the ravaging hordes of enraged and armed conservatives who want to….” (and then fill in the blanks with whatever outrage might feel most alarming)
So to amp up the perception that the nation is under siege from out-of-control ravaging Trump supporters our nation’s capital is turned into a third world war zone. It is now full of massive fencing, much it topped with razor wire as if in a maximum security prison, and it is packed with heavily armed military personnel in full battle gear and authority to use lethal force, tens of thousands of the people we send to war in other nations being staged to go to war against Americans.
Gotta keep that image fresh, of rampaging violent rioters threatening our very democracy and trying to overthrow the Biden presidency. What better way than to constantly sound shrill alarms of fear, deep and abiding and overwhelming fear, of the dangers posed by Trump cultists as they prepare to destroy all that is good and true in this country?
So let’s look at how they are doing this: The National Mall is shut down. Massive 12 foot fencing has gone up around the city and it’s basically locked down, with “checkpoints” all over the city, with police checking vehicles.
………………..
WATCH: Crews add barbed wire to fences near U.S. Capitol on Thursday (1/14). Special security measures are in place around Washington, D.C. ahead of the presidential inauguration next week @CBSNews @cbsnewspath
pic.twitter.com/OPUMNpECSI
……………….
(Hint: Conservatives are so ho-hum about the coronation of President Asterisk and his president-in-waiting only the Leftist agitators are giddy about another chance to make mischief.)
Just for the inauguration, you say? Why not be super-careful on a day supposedly so fraught with tension and angst? It’s just a couple of days, don’t get all fretful about the police state atmosphere. Except—- Washington’s Mayor Muriel Bowser suggested to reporters on Friday that, due to the storming of the Capitol by groups of “white extremists,” heightened security measures in the district could remain in effect until well after Inauguration Day.
“We are going to go back to a new normal,” Bowser said. “We certainly have to think about a new posture in the city. So while we are focused on January the 20th, we are also focused on January the 21st and every day thereafter in the nation’s capital.”
“Every day thereafter…” Hmmmmm
And then there is this: All find echoes in the events surrounding January 6. None dare say “wake-up call” or “lessons learned”—there’s been far too many of them over the decades. But one response to the 9/11 tragedy may well get renewed attention after the Capitol assault—especially if armed white nationalists are successful in carrying out more attacks in the coming days and weeks: The call for a secret police.
And to think, it was only a few days ago I was worried about the development of an American Stasi, only to learn that it’s already being promoted.
INDIA, January 18, 2021— While the United States continues its aggressive military roll-out of novel, expensive and dangerous pharmaceutical vaccines, India has developed a “miraculously” effective and safe COVID-19 treatment kit which costs merely $2.65 per person and has helped put the nation’s case and fatality rates in “steep decline.”
Last month, several medical experts testified before the U.S. Senate Homeland Security Committee in favor of authorizing ivermectin for early treatment of the novel coronavirus. Among them, Dr. Pierre Kory, founding member of Front Line Covid-19 Critical Care Alliance (FLCCC), explained that ivermectin, a Nobel Prize–winning anti-parasitic agent, “basically obliterates transmission of this virus,” with “miraculous effectiveness.”
Ivermectin has been the subject of dozens of studies and anecdotal success stories since it was found to reduce COVID-19 in a laboratory last June.
“I’ve been treating COVID pretty much every single day since the onset,” Kory said. “When I say ‘miracle’ I do not use that term lightly…that is a scientific recommendation based on mountains of data that has emerged in the last three months.”
FLCCC has developed a treatment regimen incorporating ivermectin, which the group claims has led to up to 83% lower-than-average COVID-19 death rates in hospitals that have applied it.
However, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has refused emergency authorization of ivermectin to treat coronavirus, stating for months that “[m]ore testing is needed.”
Interesting.
From an FDA letter back in April, 2020:
The FDA’s Center for Veterinary Medicine has recently become aware of increased public visibility of the antiparasitic drug ivermectin after the announcement of a research article that described the effect of ivermectin on SARS-CoV-2 in a laboratory setting. The Antiviral Research pre-publication paper, “The FDA-approved drug ivermectin inhibits the replication of SARS-CoV-2 in vitroExternal Link Disclaimer,” documents how SARS-CoV-2 (the virus that causes COVID-19) responded to ivermectin when exposed in a petri dish. This type of study is commonly used in the early stages of drug development. Ivermectin was not given to people or animals in this study. Additional testing is needed to determine whether ivermectin might be safe or effective to prevent or treat coronavirus or COVID-19.
So has the FDA been studying ivermectin as a treatment for Covid-19? It is already approved for human use for other problems, so its general safety has been evaluated Among my rotation of parasite control for my horses, it is considered the safest.
I can’t help but think of the knee-jerk reaction against hydroxychloroquine, where there was such vehement denial of its safety and that it would even help people that some governors actually put on their tyrant hats and banned its use in their states and many pharmacists simply refused to fill HCQ prescriptions. We will never know how many people died because of the refusal of some people to run the risk that Donald Trump had been right and had suggested something that would save lives, but we were treated to big headlines: IT WILL KILL YOU !!
I also remember the warnings against using steroids to treat Covid patients, when it turns out that steroid treatment is exactly what is called for to quickly knock down massive inflammation, which is what was killing people in cytokine storms as autoimmune systems, go haywire in response to the virus.
More and more I am realizing that the only government voice I have been able to trust has been Donald Trump’s.
I watched a documentary based on HIV and AIDs that spanned about 1:30. It parallels Covid-19 to the point it is scary. It also has one of everyone’s favorites-Dr. Facci as a principal.
Finally found it again as I siad it is over 1:30 minutes but may help you understand the “testing”, etc that turned HIV / AIDS into a multi-billion dollar enterprise.

Add New York Times best-selling author Don Winslow to the list of leftists who, since the storming of the U.S. Capitol, apparently believe it is now their newfound patriotic duty to warn America about the “domestic terrorists” among us — AKA: Trump supporters.
In fact, Winslow is so concerned for America and its citizenry that he released a video on Monday in which he calls for a “citizen army” to monitor supporters of President Trump. Did I mention that he equated Trump and his supporters with Osama bin Laden?
………………………
It’s going to be a bizarre four years, folks.
From “citizen armies” to “Truth and Reconciliation Commissions,” how can it not be?
“Truth and Reconciliation Commissions,” how can it not be?
I suspect there are lots of Leftists like Winslow who think people like us will just voluntarily line up at the trains or buses like the Jews did in Germany. I think he and those who share his views are going to be disappointed.
Your comment makes me think of that T shirt I should probably order:

That’ll be fun
Coronavirus vaccine linked to AED, antibody-dependent enhancement.
(Bold emphasis mine)By 2012, Chinese, American and European scientists were working on SARS vaccine development and had about 30 candidates. Of those, the four best vaccine candidates were then given to ferrets, which are the closest analogue to humans with lung infections
While the ferrets displayed robust antibody response, which is the metric used for vaccine licensing, once they were challenged with the wild virus, they all became severely ill and died, mirroring the severe effects that occurred during the failed RSV trials.
At the time, even long-time pro-vaccine advocate Dr. Peter Hotez, dean of the National School of Tropical Medicine and professor of pediatrics and molecular virology and microbiology at Baylor College of Medicine, was shaken. According to a feature published in PNAS:12
“When SARS, also a coronavirus, appeared in China and spread globally nearly two decades ago, Hotez was among researchers who began investigating a potential vaccine.
In early tests of his candidate, he witnessed how immune cells of vaccinated animals attacked lung tissue, in much the same way that the RSV vaccine had resulted in immune cells attacking kids’ lungs. ‘I thought, ‘Oh crap,’’ he recalls, noting his initial fear that a safe vaccine may again not be possible.”
According to Kennedy, the same thing happened in 2014 with the dengue vaccine DENVax. “They knew from the clinical trials that there was a problem with paradoxical immune response,” Kennedy says, but they gave it to several hundred thousand Filipino kids anyway.
They got a great immune response from the vaccine, but those exposed to wild dengue got horribly sick and 600 of the children died. “Today, the Philippine government is prosecuting criminally a bunch of the people locally who were involved in that decision,” Kennedy says.
There are in fact several indicators that receiving the COVID-19 vaccine will result in a loss of helpful immune response from a variety or other pathogen infections. A part of me wonders if the push for any action, particularly vaccination, to curb the negative effects of COVID are largely financially driven for sales and political control -OR- if this is a sick and twisted way for the government to eradicate the elderly population to help eliminate expenditures related to government spending on elderly health and stave off Social Security bankruptcy.

Great farewell address.
I had a comment but it has since been sent into the winds,,, not by a moderator.
I thought Wyoming had laid claim to the strongest winds. I guess not. (Though last week posted 78 MPH on I-25, but it was just a gust, 10 MPH over what we call “breezy”.)
If we could drive out to visit you when the wind is coming out of the east and drive home with it coming out of the west, we could make the trip using very little gas. Just sayin’.
I’ll do my best.
January is the worst wind month in Colorado and Wyoming. In Boulder it can gust over 80 MPH. But you’ve got a good point. If you could put a sail on that car…….
So a member of the Agenda Media is admitting that the Capitol kerfluffle was planned far in advance of January 6, knocking a hole in the whine that it was instigated by Trump in his speech. Now no doubt the complaint will shift to “But he didn’t do enough to stop it”. As I didn’t see anyone checking phones for Twitter updates, I guess it would have been hard for him to rein it in, but then facts and reality are in short supply when the blood lust is raging.
I did see a couple of guys wearing red Trump hats turned backward, which was stated days ago as a way for the agitators to recognize each other. Too bad all these people with high level security clearances and regular briefings didn’t know about that. //sarc off
BTW, Spook, I see that Oath Keepers is being dragged into this, and being smeared as a terrorist organization. But then, what isn’t, in these days of French Revolution-type rage and hysteria.
emphasis mine: The arrests this weekend of several people with alleged ties to far-right extremist groups, including the Oath Keepers, the Proud Boys and the Three Percenters, suggest that the riot was not an entirely impulsive outburst of violence but an event instigated or exploited by organized groups. Hours of video posted on social media and pored over by investigators have focused on individuals in military-style gear moving together.
“This is the first step toward identifying and understanding that there was some type of concerted conspiracy here,” said one senior official with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia, which is leading the investigation.
The news item even contains a quote from one of the alleged instigators of the move on Congress, which states:
“Keep eyes on people with Red MAGA hats worn backward. Saw a report that they were going to infiltrate crowd tomorrow,” Crowl was warned Jan. 5 in another Facebook message, as he prepared for what he called an “Oathkeepers op,” court documents said.
The idea of infiltrators was originally dismissed, without reason nor evidence, by establishment media outlets and left-wing talking heads. Now the claims are made in a court filing, though no corporate media outlets have yet retracted their rejection of such ideas.
Indeed The National Pulse had previously reported on claims that political events would be ijacked to foment violence– as part of our ongoing investigation into the Transition Integrity Project.
As I said to Fielding, I don’t know any Oath Keepers from around here who were in D.C. on January 6th. Leadership from Indiana Oath Keepers put out a plea not to go because it had so much potential for a false flag operation. The three named individuals I read about were from Virginia and Ohio. Oath Keepers has around 40,000 members nationally, so it wouldn’t surprise me if a few showed up, particularly ones from a 3 or 4 hour radius of D.C.. We’re disgusted and saddened at what’s happening to our country. Many, if not the majority of our elected representatives treat the Constitution like toilet paper, and honor and integrity are in short supply.
I know. I have always considered Oath Keepers a principled and patriotic organization. But that is the kind of thing that puts a target on its back when the Left has gone to war. And make no mistake about it, the Left has declared war, and is mounting a carefully orchestrated campaign it has been plotting for years.
As I have said here to a poster who wanted confrontation, wars are not won on the battlefield, they are won by doing things like cutting off the supply chain. The Left figured out how to rig elections, but is focusing on cutting off support via methods like discrediting the kinds of groups that pose a threat by representing Old America—that is, Constitutional America—and cutting off access to communications.
When we worried about NSA monitoring cell phone calls, we were told it was silly to fret, it was only to have the ability to deal with threats to the nation. When we didn’t like Google accessing and archiving our emails, we were told not to be paranoid, it was not to keep track on good American citizens. And all of that was true, to an extent—to the extent the government of the United States was not controlled by a system dedicated to overthrowing our Constitutional form of government and replacing it (“RESET”) with a top-down one-party consolidation of power in the hands of a few elites, aided by a nearly wholly complicit Agenda Media and wielding the power of the kings of the internet.
Now the fact that every phone call we make, every email we send, can be seen by Big Government through its allies, Big Tech, to be used against us if we speak out against it is pretty scary. Now that I could be cut off from banking, including credit, for Wrongthink because Big Brother can look at anything I say online or in a phone call, I can see my fears come to life. Now that if I want to use a cell phone I am basically microchipped as I can be tracked, Orwell seems like more of a prophet than merely an author.
Maybe “Agenda Media” is too kind. Maybe “Slobbering Lapdog Media” is more like it. As the NYT dutifully obeys its masters and prints The F.B.I. is investigating the role of the Oath Keepers, an anti-government militia made up largely of former law enforcement and military veterans.
Hmmm. “Anti-government”, eh? “Militia”? Wow. Bringing out the heavy artillery, so to speak, to try to discredit veterans who declare that their allegiance to their country and their sacred oaths continues after active service. Clearly such a demographic is seen as dangerous to the New Order
Not so very long ago but in a nation that seems increasingly far far away, when there were elements of the FBI which considered their jobs to be actual investigation and not carrying the water for Leftist masters, there was an FBI report on the alleged “hack” of the DNC, which stated that while there were certain indications that Russians had been in the system the clues left behind were not typical of Russian cyber crimes, which tended to be very sophisticated, but were clumsy and crude. (Remember, they FBI was not allowed in to examine the alleged “hack” until after DNC-employed private company Crowdstrike had been brought in and given free rein to go through the DNC servers.)
At that time I said that it was pretty obvious that fake “clues” had been planted, in an effort to hide the fact that the servers had not been hacked at all but that an insider had copied the data and handed it off, in person, to a Wikileaks representative, as Assange kept telling us. As I said, the planted “evidence” of a Russian incursion was about as subtle as leaving a note in a waste basket saying “Boris—we need more vodka”.
Well, the clumsy efforts of the Left to keep planting false “clues” to incriminate chosen targets as villains, continues. Not just by disguising rioters as Trump supporters, but by loudly making statements like these: As rioters pushed their way down a hallway, one shouted at a police officer, “We are listening to your boss: Trump.” And as a few men looked through documents on the Senate floor, one, referring to Senator Ted Cruz, said: “I think Cruz would want us to do this, so I think we’re good.” (And who jumped to the conclusion that the reference was to Senator Ted Cruz? Couldn’t it have been Penelope Cruz? And who decided on the spelling of the name? What if the Scientologists were looking for information? What if he meant Tom Cruise?)
No, folks, we are firmly in False Flag territory, and about half the country is made up of gullible and easily led sheeple who obediently moo, baah and cluck like the good little livestock they are, happily being led into their pens.
an anti-government militia made up largely of former law enforcement and military veterans.
We ARE NOT a militia. In fact militias generally don’t trust us because we tend to hold them to a higher standard. And we welcome anyone who has taken the Constitutional oath, present military and first responders included. At one time our local group included an active firefighter and an active town marshal.
I’m sure the vast majority, if not 100% of members own one or more firearms, but military style training is not the main thrust of the organization. The mission of Oath Keepers is to promote community preparedness and constitutional awareness. The vast majority of our public outreach is to hand out pocket Constitutions, hold seminars on things like home defense, canning and survival food, and providing security for public gatherings, demonstrations and rallies. I can’t speak for other areas of the country, but in Indiana, particularly northeast Indiana, we have excellent rapport with municipal, county and state law enforcement. They know we are on their side, and that they can count on us to have their backs in an emergency. If that’s subversive, then count me as a subversive.
Are you a subversive? Take a little test to find out.
Are you now or have you ever been a Trump supporter?
Do you believe that the nation should be governed according to its Constitution?
Do you believe that oaths of office, such as promising to uphold the Constitution and enforce the law, should be followed?
Do you believe that we are a sovereign nation with the ability and the right to control our borders?
Do you believe that we, as Americans, have an absolute right to free speech even when it criticizes our government?
Do you believe that we have the right to worship as we please?
Do you believe that unborn children have the same rights as those already born? That is, the right to life and the right to liberty and the right to pursue happiness?
Do you believe that our Constitution guarantees your right to own and bear arms?
Do you believe that the role of the press is to objectively inform the public, not to guide it into preferred agendas and thoughts?
Do you believe in equal rights and protections for all?
Do you believe in the concept of “innocent until proven guilty”?
Do you believe that the role of the federal government is restricted and defined, with most authority left to the states or to the people?
Do you respect the flag and what it stands for?
Do you respect our national anthem and what it stands for?
That’s a partial list of Are You A Subversive?
Understand that a “yes” to any of these questions means that yes, in today’s Brave New World you ARE a subversive. Don’t answer the door at 3 a.m.

What’s sad is that just a few short years ago your list would have been considered tongue-in-cheek; now it serious. That’s how far we’ve fallen in the last decade or so. And, with this new administration the decline is gong to be on steroids. There’s going to be a lot of buyer’s remorse, and you’re going to hear a lot of “I just voted to get rid of Trump, and get back to normal — I didn’t vote for this!” Well, to those folks I say too bad, so sad — suck it up and fix it in 2022.
I just finished reading Kurt Schlichter’s latest novel, Crisis, about the split of America into red and blue areas. At the end he implores America to not let it happen for real. Just a few months ago I would have rated the possibility at near zero. Now I’m not sure. Geographically it would be a nightmare, but not as much of a nightmare as living under Leftist rule. Just as the Trump era ushered in a massive political realignment, the inevitable over reach by the Dems in at least the next two years is probably going to result in a massive geographic realignment where a significant portion of the population relocates to states where the majority shares their views. States in the middle of the country where the majority of the population is Conservative but where there are large blue metro areas like Chicago, Detroit, Cleveland, Columbus, Cincinnati, Indianapolis and St. Louis are probably going to experience a lot of bloodshed. In the end I’m betting the majority of people in those states will end up choosing freedom over tyranny. Fighting for freedom is a much stronger motivator than fighting for not freedom.
Well, many on the Left, including pretty influential people such as members of Congress, top media names and legal counsel for prominent groups like NPR, have already identified about 74 million people as subversives and enemies of the state, domestic terrorists who should have their children taken away from them and who should be put in reeducation camps to be “deprogrammed” only because of how they voted.
This country is like the bungee jumper who may have miscalculated some pretty important data, such as the right length of the bungee cord and taking into account the weight of the jumper. Are we going to crash into the bottom, or barely avoid it but hang dangling there in a very close call but uncomfortably close to disaster?
They never let up. Once they have found a lie that seems to resonate with the ignorant sheeple, they play it for all it’s worth. Case in point: One of President Asterisk’s most important priorities after being crowned is going to be (drumroll please…..) ordering agencies to figure out how to reunite children separated from their families after crossing the border.
All I can say to that is, Thank God! Just think of all those children kept in Obama-cages all these years, pining away for their families. It’s enough to bring you to tears.
Well, except for the fact that at the border, adults attempting to break our laws by crossing illegally who had children with them were temporarily separated from those children so the kids could be interviewed to make sure they were with legitimate parents or legal guardians and not being trafficked or used as pawns to game the system. HOW DARE WE ??!! How DARE we question the integrity of someone caught in the act of committing a crime by asking if he or she really has legal custody of the child with him or her?
The only children who might still be separated from their families are children who were brought to the border by non-custodial adults who not only did not have legal custody of those children but who evidently could not even tell who did. The last I heard, the government was still trying to track down the families of the few remaining children who had been so brutally ripped from the arms of their traffickers and sent to those harsh prison-like facilities with soft beds, good food, toys and TVs and caring personnel to wait while their families were being tracked down.
Of course, to be fair he might be talking about children who were separated from their families AFTER crossing the border—after all, that is the wording of the memo. In that case it would be children who didn’t get to to go prison with their mommies and daddies who had been convicted of crimes and sentenced. You know, like all the American children “separated from their families” by our criminal justice system. I wonder how he will accomplish that. Probably by just turning criminals loose, I guess, like all good Lefties.
But, like a good Lefty, Joe (or, rather, his minders) see another opportunity to play the “kids in cages” game, knowing there are enough truly stupid people out there to make it worth the effort.
OT—kind of. Back when so much of Colorado and Wyoming were made miserable by the heavy smoke from the big forest fires the CDC informed us not to think that wearing masks would help because the masks would not filter out the smoke.
Within a few days a new mask mandate was issued, in both states to “protect against Covid” (though in Wyoming it is usually just ignored except in Cheyenne and Casper) which led me to design my own mask, which just came in the mail.
It says:
WON’T BLOCK BIG SMOKE PARTICLES
WILL BLOCK TINY VIRUS PARTICLES
BECAUSE SCIENCE
Then we factor in information like this: There are in fact several indicators that receiving the COVID-19 vaccine will result in a loss of helpful immune response from a variety or other pathogen infections from jdge1’s earlier post, and the wheels should start to come off the Pandemic Panic Express.
RedState is usually a pretty reliable source of objective information, but like the saying about a jerk or loser that “every family has one” RedState has Joe Cunningham, a senior editor who just wrote an opinion piece (Trump Failed to Unite America and Has Earned Impeachment) ending with this snarl: This was supposed to be the day he finally became President, and instead, he chose division and corruption. It’s an absolute shame that it has come to this, but I guess letting us down is what he’s best at.
This reminded me of the few minutes I could tolerate the Hannity show yesterday. Sean had a guest on who is evidently a friend of his, as shown by the clumsy and annoying banter that dominated the conversation, who is also evidently a KoolAid drinking Lefty. Sean went down a list of Trump accomplishments and asked his guest which he disagreed with, and the response was that he did not agree with the first, that Trump put America first, because in his opinion Trump only put Trump first.
And that was all I needed to hear. This guy’s smugness was so overwhelming it didn’t ooze across the airways, it flew across the airways in a tsunami of odorous smug, and his response basically summed up what passes for political analysis on the Left. The entire list of accomplishments provided by Sean, which was a very small part of the whole, was simply dismissed with the pronouncement that the wholly personal emotion-based perception that Trump was not about America first he was only about Trump first was supposed to rebut or discredit everything else.
This is what we are up against. To the obedient livestock Dems who are herded into ideological pens and fed lies so they can be harvested for their votes this is what passes for political analysis.
