You read about the Great Terror during the French Revolution and from your safe, prosperous American home you wonder how people could act like that? I mean, you understand that there was injustice and even cruelty in the Ancien Régime, but you still look upon it in shock. And then you read a piece in Bloomberg opinion which has an upper class twit telling us to eat lentils and let the dog die to deal with inflation.
And then you understand.
Cruelty and injustice can be dealt with – it is having people treat you with contempt that gets the blood boiling and makes cheering as a noble’s head comes off something understandable.
And there is monumental contempt for us.
When the Hunter Biden story was actively suppressed by the MSM and the Tech Giants in 2020, do recall that 50 former intelligence officials signed a letter stating that the Hunter story was Russian disinformation. It was this letter which allowed Team Pudding Brain, the DNC and the MSM to justify spiking the story. People actually got banned from social media for bringing the story up! The MSM and Tech efforts were bad enough, but the crucial thing was the bald-faced lie by the intelligence officials…without that, the rest wouldn’t have a leg to stand on. But really grasp that: the organizations charged with protecting American national security produced 50 people to lie in print. When you add in the fact that the FBI knew all about this months before it broke and not a single person there blew the whistle you really see our problem: they are against us. They hate us. They hold us in contempt.
I pointed out on Twitter earlier that the same MSM and government agencies who assure us the 2020 vote was legit are the same people who lied about Hunter Biden.
And, yet, you still can’t get through to Never Trump on this. I’m not talking about those Never Trump who have morphed into Never Republican…I’m talking about those who remain Republican and are already largely lining up behind DeSantis for 2024: they remain impervious. One of the more famous said today that he’s backing DeSantis because he doesn’t have the character flaws of Trump. Which is a sort of reverse lie: what character flaws does Trump have? The only one’s we know about are those told to us by government and MSM sources which are proven liars. I mean, seriously: maybe Trump is an immoral man, but nobody can really know. He’s been so consistently lied about that no outsider can sift it and determine what might be true or false (though we can rely on it that Trump has never broken a law – if he had, even in the most trivial manner, he’d already have been tried for it). But, also, for all we know, he’s a moral man. Sure, he had his divorces and his playboy days when young…but young billionaires tend to do that sort of thing and in the year when we have drag queen story time, I’m going to place getting busy with a super model rather low on the moral outrage scale. And rely on this: were Trump still playing around on the side, we’d know about it…I’m sure the MSM has people watching him 24/7. So if he was a bit of a cad from 25-50, he’s not today.
Dr Oz is still rolling along in the Pennsylvania Senate race. I get the doubts about him – he’s from Oprah Universe, something I hold in utter contempt. Over the years, as part of the price of being part of that universe, he staked out positions which are pretty much anathema to anyone on the right, especially on issues like “red flag” laws for gun ownership. But, I also don’t automatically condemn him for that. Lets face it: we’ve all had an education the past 7 years. Perhaps Oz has looked around and figured a few things out? He’s presenting himself as the Trumpist candidate. So far, Trump hasn’t endorsed him – but the rumor from Trump World is that Melania, who apparently is a good friend of Oz, is pushing for him. We’ll see how it comes out – to me, the most important thing is getting the (R) to victory. Is Oz that guy? Don’t know. But I can’t see how he’d be worse than Toomey…who took our Tea Party movement to get into office and then became a colorless GOPe Establishment guy once in, going as far down as to vote to convict Trump in the second trial (and that vote sunk his career in the GOP).
The war with the Ukraine continues to drag on – and Putin, so far, shows no sign of quitting. Ukraine still stands firm and there are even reports of local Ukrainian counter-attacks. OTOH, a recent video of Zelensky in Kiev looked a little photo-shopped. Like they had him in front of a green screen that they projected Kiev on to. I still hold it isn’t our fight – but it does affect the world. In one case, over food supply. The Ukraine is one of the world’s bread baskets. The Ukrainian farmers should be starting to plant their crops right about now. If they aren’t – and it looks like they’re not – then the world is going to have some serious problems in the Fall.
In other news on that front, China and India are working deals with Putin – China and India do need Russian oil and other raw materials, after all. From a geo-political standpoint, our obsession with Putin is taking us out of the global equation while a should-be ally (India) and our definite rival (India) are cutting deals which undermine America’s overall position. My view: we should have declared absolute neutrality in the Russo-Ukrainian war, holding ourselves willing to host peace talks and providing humanitarian aid to both sides.

And Spook is spot on. Contempt is a two way street and the Left has yet to really feel the disdain from conservatives but that day is coming. A few of my friends and i have talked about the inability to stay quiet anymore when in the presence of progressive Democrats and that’s where our battles lie. We have no influence over the well entrenched corrupt politicians, but we can have an intimidating influence over those who vote for them. Influence someone today!!

I’m not a violent person. The last person I struck with my fist was a bully in the 5th grade. I’ve never shot, stabbed, or clubbed anyone. For the last decade or more I’ve hoped we could resolve our differences peacefujlly. With each passing day, though, I become more and more convinced that any window we may have had to avoid a violent confrontation has come and gone. My bet is that if the GOP has the kind of success in November that the polls are increasingly showing to be likely, a substantial number of Leftists are going to have a melt-down. Maybe we’ll luck out, and they’ll commit mass suicide or move to Norway.
I just hope the anger on the right does manifest itself into something constructive … so far we have been way too docile. I also hope the mid terms are a clarion call to sanity but knowing how dishonest and deceitful our domestic opponents are, I am not that optimistic. And if we continue to elect people like Lindsey Graham and Mitt Romney then we aren’t accomplishing anything.
And just an observation but isn’t the media’s complete obsession with Ukraine a little odd?? It’s 24/7 Ukraine in the liberal media. I guess nothing is going on in this country. Or at least nothing positive that they want to report.
On another site I got so fed up with the pro-abortionists that I let fly—-and they were stunned. I basically said that scorn and contempt for women who kill their babies is only partially appropriate, because they are preyed upon while they are stunned, shaken and panicky by callous ghouls who lie to them, intimidate them and pressure them. And that it is those who defend abortion, who not only support it but glamorize it and even celebrate it, who deserve—-and receive— utter contempt and disdain. I said for the most part, aside from the serial aborters, these are the people who have virtual blood on their hands, and these are the people who will be seen by history as the true villains who deserved all the loathing they generated.
I don’t think any of them had ever been told any of this, and I thought it was about time that we start calling them out for the bloodthirsty vile creatures that they are. Like the statistics and true facts about Covid are finally bubbling to the surface, there are statistics about abortion that are tragic—the vast majority of women who get abortions later say they were pressured into doing it, even more say they regret it. The mortality rate for women undergoing abortion is almost twice that of women giving birth. So all the platitudes mouthed about it being really just “reproductive choice” or “health” are, quite simply, lies—and those who tell them are predators and profoundly evil people.
Getting on my soapbox once again to bemoan the fact that we don’t really have much of a voice, I still think we should start treating certain segments of Liberals the same way, and just as brutally, The most obvious target for this is the open borders/sanctuary movement. We need to come out, loud and fearless, in calling these people out as enabling human trafficking and sex slavery. Bluntly, brutally, with facts and statistics, and call these people out by name when we know the names. I am so sick and tired of the posturing as occupying the Higher Moral Ground by people whose very actions are evil and despicable and inhumane.

We have been handed an opportunity staggering in its immensity and simplicity, and we’re ignoring it. We need to go after the people who put him in office. Well, the people who get credit for putting him in office—the real culprits will never be named.
I won’t give a penny to the GOP, but I would donate generously to a campaign to shame Biden voters. We should have big billboards showing gas prices compared to last year with the headline THANK YOU BIDEN VOTERS. Ditto for billboards showing the number of poor desperate people lured to our borders who died or were sold into sex slavery, with the same headline. That iconic picture of people at the airport in Kabul, ditto. The number of people put out of work due to restrictions on domestic oil and gas exploration and extraction and refining—-ditto
There should be a parallel campaign naming those who covered up the Hunter Biden stories—not just the laptop, but Burisma. I’d like to see a rotation of billboards each featuring several names nd photographs of those “intelligence” people who signed that letter, with “intelligence” in quotation marks.
Name names. Publish their photos. And ask how these people ever managed to qualify as members of an “intelligence” community. That unchanging headline would be LIARS—OR JUST STUPID?
Those big glossy postcards are pretty cheap to mail—why don’t we have a mailing campaign to fifty million or so registered Democrats laying out the ugly facts. I’d do one such campaign saying “Trump’s wall saved lives” and point out that strong border control policies sent the message that it was not worth it to undertake the dangers of trying to cross illegally, and then list the costs of the Biden border policy, which would include strengthening and enriching brutal drug cartels, subjecting children to grueling cross-country journeys, rape and kidnaping of women and girls who are then sold into sex slavery, the abuse and sex slavery of children, the people killed in traffic accidents when coyotes wreck overloaded vans, people locked in shipping containers or box vans to die horrible lingering deaths and of course the fates of so many who try to cross the Arizona and Texas deserts.
No one ever talks about the death toll of luring people to our border. So we should. We need a BLOOD ON HIS HANDS campaign. Or if sent to Biden voters, BLOOD ON YOUR HANDS.

Here’s a life lesson … if you are excited about the first black woman to potentially be on the SC, then you are the racist. You’re welcome.
For the first time in a very long time I am truly frightened, because not only is the world on a knife edge I know without the slightest doubt that no matter what this administration does it will only make things worse.
We could be, and should be, ramping up our petroleum industry, supporting it and encouraging it and giving it the confidence to go full-bore in more exploration, more drilling, and above all more exporting. We should be taking advantage of the unrest in the world to develop stronger economic ties with India, in particular, which could be a wonderful source of products we now get from China. We should have a State Department out there shoring up economic relationships with Viet Nam and Indonesia and every place on the globe that both needs our oil and is a potential source of production of the kinds of things we now get from China.
Instead, we are alienating, or at least ignoring, the very countries that could be and should be our economic allies, and slowly cutting off our dependence on Chinese goods. Let them twist in the wind. They need us more than we need them, or at least that would be true if we had any vision and most of all if we put America first.
And bring back manufacturing of our therapeutics and medicines!!! But unfortunately, Americas ruling class is still focused on creating the New World Order, check out the headline on Drudge today. They don’t give a f*ck about this country.
The same people who lied about Russia collusion and Hunters lap top for four years are the same people yelling racist if a black woman is not supported. These are not people of good character. They do not deserve our support and quite honestly, in my view, they have forfeited their right to life. A political cleansing of America is needed.
IMHO, the primary reason this country is in such chaos is because we have become very weak, stupid, and narcissistic people. Case in point:
