Grandpa said, once again, that his son died in Iraq…but also went on to say that he went to an historic black college and that he met the man who “invented” insulin…except insulin was discovered rather than invented and the guy who discovered it died before Joe was born. I think that now the Red Wave comes into view, the Democrat power people are setting up Joe’s exit. Won’t happen before January 21st because Harris won’t sign off on it before then (she will – sensibly – want to retain her two-term viability). And what a crushing mistake the Democrats made – pushing Joe to run because they thought he had blue collar appeal, then frauding him into office when that didn’t work…and now it looks like they’ll get crushed next week, and likely get it even worse in 2024 because, guys, the economy gets worse from here (and just watch the MSM suddenly call it the worst recession ever as they try to pin it on the new GOP Congress). If they had just let Trump enjoy the victory he had earned, none of this would be happening.

At this point the polls are showing a dead heat. Could still go either way. Early voting by Democrats is way up from 2018, but that is only good as long as Democrats also come out on Election Day. The difference will be in the youth vote. If young voters are energized by the loss of Roe and come out, then it’s a Democratic win. If not, it goes the other way.
One thing about the polls though. I agree with Mark that they don’t mean much. You have polling firms still using landlines even though the use of landlines has dropped considerably. It’s also harder to connect to people as most people won’t pick up on numbers they don’t know.

Comparisons of early voting from 2018 to 2022 are meaningless as there wasn’t nearly as much early voting in 2018. What is driving 2022 is “first midterm” and the economy is lousy. There’s just no way around that – this is why House and Senate will flip…we’re only wondering if the House is R+20…or R+40…if the Senate is R+2…or R+5.

As for stolen – the Democrats will, as per usual, use as much voter fraud as they can. They always have – but unlike 2020 where they just needed control of one city each in order to stuff the boxes until Biden came out on top, this is spread out over too many House districts and States. Pudding Brain announced tonight that the steal will be attempted – that was his bit about it may take days to know results. Guess what: It will only take days in places Democrats have control over. Florida will be called for DeSantis and Rubio when the polls close in the panhandle and 99%+ of the votes will be counted within 3 or 4 hours of poll closing. Pennsylvania, New York and Michigan – all with fewer votes to count – will take a lot longer as Democrats try to figure out how many votes they need to tip the Statewide races their way.
Trouble is, they will have even less idea how many they need than they did in 2020 (the stop count was because they were surprised by how Trump wracked up 11 million more votes than in 2016 and so they had to stop it all until they could get the ballots they needed inserted into the system): mid-term turnout is always tricky and the GOP election day total might be rather astonishing.
But even with the efforts at fraud, I expect the Red Wave – I’ve factored that in.
