It is now clear that almost the entire MSM combined with almost all of Big Tech to censor some opinions and boost others – and it has been going on for a while, but only went into overdrive in 2020 with the effort to oust Trump. But the reason why they did it is far less important than the fact that they did it, at all. It is a huge problem – and the solution of it may determine whether we remain free, or not.
As of at least yesterday, none of the three major network newscasts had even mentioned the Twitter files. This silence could be because they haven’t worked out the talking points but it could well be that the word has come down that the files simply will not be discussed. This shows that the MSM is entirely a State-controlled media. It is a mere propaganda outfit and it is as the command of the DNC.

Don’t have to. I’m not stupid. Its a huge story involving one of the world’s richest men and one of the world’s largest social media platforms. This sort of thing is made for the news – and you only don’t mention it on command.
And now we have to think: the First Amendment protection for the press: does it extend to what amounts to a propaganda outfit for one party? It would be one thing if they would just admit that they are Democrat operatives dressing themselves up as news people…but they won’t admit that. They pretend to be reporting news when they clearly don’t report anything that is unfavorable to Democrats…and when it comes to disfavoring Republicans, they’ll repeat the most monstrous and stupid lies.
This is what the guys at Bunker Hill and Yorktown were fighting for?
I have my suspicions that Washington’s constabulary would have a particularly violent response to this. What will ours be? Pretend its all ok? Hope they get an attack of conscience? Pretend that when we protect CBS News we’re defending a principle?
We have to do something. We can’t let this stand. The MSM and Big Tech must be forced to kneel before the people and become, as far as humanly possible, fair and honest platforms for information. I don’t have a roadmap to this – but I think our first effort if we ever get a trifecta is to break up the large media corporations. That no one entity or person can control more than one media outlet. Joe Billionaire or MegaCorp X can own one TV network. Or one newspaper. Or one website. Or one movie studio – and they can’t own even a penny’s worth of any other. This would first and foremost restore real competition. You would get, in the end, more TV networks, more newspapers, more websites…more of everything presenting news and entertainment to the people because, my friends, there are buckets of money to be made doing that and huge amounts of fame to be had. People will still get into it even if they can’t own it all. And they’ll look for their markets and, guess what?, someone will figure out that the Right is a market.
The one thing we can’t do is nothing. We are doomed if we do nothing. Eventually – and probably very soon – you’ll see the MSM simply ceasing to cover reality. Their whole existence will be to praise Democrats and slander Republicans. They won’t even in passing mention anything that is bad news for Democrats. They will, combined with Big Tech, try to suffocate all dissent. We must find a way to breath, or we die.

Have you watched MSNBC lately?? It’s already happening. American media is now just propaganda by celebrity, and in order to change that, we need to separate the media from the power centers. Did you notice how many members of the corporate media were invited to the White House for the state dinner for Macron?? Quite a few, and that’s the problem. They all go to the same cocktail parties, their kids go to the same schools, they all take vacations together, and they all say hi to each other during the Vogue glamour photo sessions.
To get a sense of the level of conditioning and control corporate media has over “journalism”, consider that two of the biggest American political scandals (Hunter laptop, Twitter files) are playing out in real time and not one corporate media journalist is running with the story (sans Fox News). Where is Morley Safer and 60 minutes?? These are the type of stories that win you pulitzer prizes yet not one NBC, ABC, or CBS journalist has the slightest interest.
Real “news” is a thing of the past. Hopefully it makes a comeback.

There are lots of “head-in-sand” people unable to think for themselves. As long as their actions don’t negatively impact the rest of society it’s easy to let them be. Once their action and rhetoric start impacting other, then it’s time to push back, politely in some cases, harshly in others.
I still see some people wearing masks, and I have different reactions. My reaction to the woman whose two small children were masked was that this was child abuse, but usually I just have a passing thought that the masked person is just not very bright and move on. When I see very old people wearing masks I tend to just feel sorry for them, that they are so terrified and living in fear that they think a piece of paper or cloth is going to protect them. And sometimes you can see the smugness emanating from the Virtue Signalers, who are so proud of their moral superiority as THEY have the decency to protect society.

I’ve often thought that. The biggest and best tool of the Left is propaganda, and having a tailor-made villain that can be dragged out to implicate the opposition in nefarious words and deeds would be a big weapon in their arsenal. Those two groups would have that affect plus that of luring in people who might be led to do stupid things (like those led by the FBI into the Gretchen Whitmer kidnap plot).
Also consider QAnon. Being antagonistic toward social media I was late to learn about QAnon, but when I heard of it the first thing I thought was that someone had a bright idea of how to get damaging information out there and the Left, immediately seeing the danger to them in this, stepped in not by denying what was said but by dumping vast amounts of obviously nutty content on top of it, effectively tainting the real information and also providing another straw man villain they could point to when necessary.
Am I saying this is what happened? No. But I am saying if I were in charge of the Left’s efforts to manipulate emotions these are things I would do.
There are other examples of organized herding of clueless Trump supporters, which have never been investigated by the House committee or gotten any public attention. Hopefully this will change with a Republican House that can do real investigations into real crimes

I think among other things, Donald Trump is an absolute master of Fifth Generation Warfare. And Twitter was one of his major platforms for executing on that. And there was an attempt to pull it away and they succeeded. And it was a concerted effort on the part of the intelligence community, and the DNC, I think we gotta call it where we see it. The DNC got in there are really worked its way on the Twitter leadership.
