Supposedly General Miley a little while back advised that Ukraine is as strong as she’s gonna get, is not strong enough to defeat Russia, so it is time for a diplomatic solution. If this story is true, my respect for Miley goes up a notch.
Of late, Zelensky has been talking big not just about pushing Russia out of what they’ve taken in the last year, but out of all Ukrainian territory, including Crimea. Well, hey, if he can do that, more power to him: but I don’t think Ukraine has the sheer power to do that. Absent a complete Russian collapse, the Russians will pretty much hold on to what they’ve got. As I said at the start – Ukraine’s job since 2014 was to build a mobile strike force capable of immediately going on the offense either right at the time the Russians attacked, or just before that. I like to call this The Israeli Option: what to do with enemies who vastly outnumber you and have far greater strategic depth? You attack and turn their dream of marching on Tel Aviv (Kiev) into a nightmare defending Cairo and Damascus (Rostov and Voronezh). Ukraine had plenty of time and plenty of money – and even plenty of factories and material to produce this force with only very limited support from anyone outside Ukraine. They didn’t do it. They decided that bribing foreign pols as a means of securing their support against Russia was a better idea (and this tells you right there that there’s at least a huge part of the Ukrainian population uninterested in fighting for Ukraine – that the Ukrainian government, unlike the Israeli government, could not rely on the population to make the sacrifices in blood and treasure). And, fundamentally, that is why I was against giving aid from the start – if they can’t sacrifice for themselves, why should I sacrifice for them? Now is the time to make peace – before more blood is shed and before the Russians do put forth their full power.
So, now they’re admitting that masks don’t work and there’s a good chance the Chinese flu came from the lab – whether accidentally or intentionally we don’t know, and likely never can know. Just as the repeated assertions of 2020 being clean are our best proof it was dirty, the assertion that Covid didn’t come from the lab was our best proof that it came from the lab. We just know – if we’ve any sense at all – that whatever it is they’re saying is a lie…or if by some miracle the truth, only partial and designed to deflect attention from something else even worse. Why they’re dribbling this out now remains to be seen – but is certainly isn’t to enlighten us. They’re hiding something else.
Supposedly the J6 footage was all turned over to Tucker Carlson and people are starting to wonder when we get to see it. Rely on it, folks: it was given to Carlson to ensure the most Narrative-Destroying parts never see the light of day. I dig that Carlson has a lot of fans and he does, indeed, say some useful things…but he’s MSM. He’s Establishment. He’ll never jeopardize his meal ticket and while his boss is testifying that Trump was lying about 2020 election fraud, you can bet any money that Carlson won’t piss the boss off by showing that J6 was a setup to ensure the truth about 2020 never came out.
Pudding Brain’s illegal order to cancel student debt was heard before the Supreme Court today – it ain’t looking good for Pudding Brain. But there is a very worrisome thing going – all over the Democrats and MSMers (but I repeat myself) was the assertion that the Court should rule in favor of cancellation regardless of what the law says…with an unstated subtext that if the Court doesn’t rule the way the Democrats want, then it is “out of control”…and so in need of being brought under control. We need not say who’s control is needs to be brought under. This is terrible for our system of government – essentially, the Democrats are saying that any Court ruling going against their desires is illegitimate.
Looks like Lori Lightfoot didn’t pass the graft around enough and she didn’t get into the runoff for Chicago Mayor. The winner will be whichever candidate seems most likely to correctly pass around the graft. Lightfoot will, of course, claim that her loss was because of racism, sexism and homophobia. This would mean the Democrat party is packed full of racists, sexists and homophobes.

We’ve been lied to for a great deal longer than the past few years. It’s just that they’ve gotten so comfortable with lying, cheating & stealing, they lie about most everything now and they’re spending much less time dreaming up absurd justifications or the cover-up. Most people would find it mind-boggling to realize the extent and destruction of the lies – all of which ultimately come from the great deceiver, whose sole existence is to lie, steal and destroy. If the extent of the lies were expose and those responsible were held accountable, a significant number of individuals in positions of authority, both government and corporate, would be in jail for along time. They stay in power because they’re able to grease the right palms with the same money confiscated from those they work against, and they have a degree of control over any who would expose or prosecute them – media, courts, DA’s & AG’s, congress, etc.
Even when they’re caught, they often get shielded from prosecution and sentencing. With the ever continuous lies and lack of accountability comes the outgrowth of distrust and breakdown of society. Whether we see a total collapse is dependent largely upon trust being restored, which can only happen when our moral compass is corrected, which can only happen when we return to God. They all go hand-in-hand. You cannot have a righteous society without God.
They did torch the last of their credibility in getting Trump out – only people who regularly watch TV (a sadly still large number) believe them. But I do believe that in doing so they set themselves up for defeat.
One thing that I’ve heard talked about of late is how in colleges where everyone has to state their pronouns and state they are on “stolen land” before every meeting is starting to irritate lots of the kids…turning otherwise Progressive youth towards the Right. It won’t happen overnight, but the shift may be there. And with DeSantis (and, now, other Red States) starting to take control of the Universities and ending DEI, we’re going to see every kid who just wants to learn try to get into Red State colleges…further creating a youth vote for us. The bottom line is that a lying, discredited Ruling Class is now starting to irritate people who would just roll along if they weren’t being pestered day in and day out.
And it can’t come too soon – and we have to be ready for it. There’s this video floating around out there where this very pretty young lady is trying desperately to articulate her desire for traditional dating and a relationship. We oldsters really need to key into this: everyone started making fun of her inarticulateness when we should have been gently pushing our way.
But, man, was she not able to verbalize what she wanted – in fact, she could barely speak English. It was all “like, you know” over and over again…but if you paid attention you could see where she was: a pretty young lady these days gets lots of offers and it is expected among a lot of youth that sex will go with any social interaction. She was frustrated with this…wanting a guy who she could talk to and build a relationship with. In other words, go out on a date like we did decades ago. When we see that we have to jump in and help…not denigrate. Tell her there is another way.
My daughter, who currently lives in Phoenix AZ, tells me it’s near impossible to find a guy with a stable honest job, who’s not into getting drunk for fun, is not into drugs, is not a self-absorbed video game bot, who doesn’t have some expectation of shacking up early in the relationship, who’s looking for a long-term relationship and is generally respectful of other people. Might seem like a lot of expectations but it didn’t use to be. It wouldn’t matter if he was college educated, white collar or blue collar, corporate personnel or self-employed, just that he have desires and put an effort into a future that extended beyond tomorrow. She has an MBA in international business and security, worked in DC with a multitude of dignitaries and head of states, yet is equally comfortable sitting at a scorer’s table for several different sports. She lived abroad for a while and traveled to many countries in 6 continents, has managed large groups of people and projects at work. She’s been involved with numerous organizations including a young adult singles group that puts together a variety of activities including, sports outings, restaurants gatherings, travel events, game nights and similar options. She’s been involved with several charity organizations, and organizations like Toastmasters, enjoys swimming and gym memberships, and other social activities like movies & theater and has tried a few dating apps. Even with a variety of interactions, finding a guy that’s even datable can be rare. So, it’s easy to understand this young lady’s predicament.
Not very often is there a tv show or big screen movie where casual sex, heavy drinking or drugs, are not on constant display and made to look like a walk on the beach with little or no consequence. Ever wonder why there’s so many women getting abortions? Unless they’re brought up with strong values, a level of self-confidence, and have expectations about their futures, young females (and males for that matter) often feel isolated and lonely.
On the flip side, I’m quite sure there are a lot of young men who are relentlessly criticized for being men and feel at odds with the feminist culture, blaming men in general for all the world’s problems, especially those affecting women. Finding a young lady who values honesty, ethics, hard work and appreciation can be like walking through a mine field. How do you find a female that is not full of drama, who doesn’t have to be constantly pampered or act superficial, who can think past fashion, jewelry & cosmetics, who wants more to life than surface culture?
The problem isn’t that these men and women don’t exist, just that they’re becoming a rarer breed with today’s youth being bombarded in so many directions with negative influences that encourages and rewards sub-par performance & effort. Their role models are egotistical, substance abusing movie screen and sports personalities, crooked politicians and corporate leaders. They’re being robbed of a solid education unable to pass even basic proficiencies, unable to think for themselves.
The answer to these problems is simple. Return to God. It might not seem easy (thought people may surprise themselves), but it is simple. There’s a great battle taking place on both the spiritual and physical realms, where evil is pushing every conceivable means to eliminate belief and salvation in God. It’s has been going on for quite some time but lately has intensified. Anything that relies on, represents or praises God is viewed as something that must be eliminated at all cost. Unfortunately, that is the stance of most leftist politicians and corporate leaders. They want you to view them as your god, paying them homage. It’s a totally unsustainable illusion, but they will try.

Maybe if there were more stable honest jobs to be had, and more importantly, maybe if society actually respected young heterosexual men, your daughter and others like her would have more choices. Our society places zero value on white heterosexual men, and even goes as far to shame them, so it’s no surprise that she’s struggling. And more women will continue to struggle if our society continues to marginalize fathers, and women insist on being that career woman who wants to “bring home the bacon and fry it up in a pan”. A lot of men just want a lover, companion, and mother to their children, and a lot of women simply believe that that’s not enough.

(1) The Constitution doesn’t say a word about women not being able to vote. (We went through this with Casper a few years ago, when he explained that anyone who believes in the Constitution as it was written then believes that women should not be allowed to vote and we should reinstitute slavery. Back to my chicken/egg question….)

Zelensky didn’t start the war. The United States enabled it by funding it, indirectly, through its double whammy of making the U.S. once again dependent on foreign oil and then sending billions of dollars to the formerly struggling and nearly bankrupt Russia so it could afford to attack Ukraine. That was a really good article. I think a lot of Americans are realizing that Democrat policies soon become a clear and present danger to their life and lifestyle, and as evidenced by Chicago, are beginning to reject those policies en masse.
We’ll see just how far these policies are being rejected. If Chicago steps away from Identity Politics and Leftist propaganda and votes for a rational approach to dealing with crime in the city I’ll be convinced. For now, I expect a Lightfoot replacement to be very much like her, racially and philosophically, probably just less obnoxious about it.
It is things like this which want me to put Progressives in work camps – not to actually punish them, but to get them to know how the real world works. I don’t want them to suffer…I just want them to be able to chop wood, fix a tire, paint a room…so normal, human things so they’ll eventually realize that people have to live.
