I’ve mentioned before that the two world wars were fought over one issue: that no nation may be allowed to alter the politico-economic system via violence. That all adjustments between nations and peoples must come about via fair negotiation between all interested parties. To be sure, this is a little bit of pie in the sky – but it is an ideal and a good one. And the first step towards any sort of rational policy is to set your ideal and then do all you can to approach it, knowing you’ll never get it exactly right.
Such an ideal is true even if never attempted before – and certainly prior to World War One violence dictated a lot of the world’s affairs. In fact, the Great Powers of Europe had used violence to create themselves as Great Powers. But we are supposed to live and learn and by, say, 1890, the world understood that the destruction and sheer social disruption of a major war wasn’t something worth doing. This is why in 1899 we had our first attempt at a world peace conference. Called into being by the new Czar of Russia – Nicholas II – it met at The Hague between May and July and, basing itself upon Lincoln’s rules of our Civil War, attempted to set some basic rules of war fighting designed to, as it were, limit the damage.
Certainly, there were skeptics of it. But it was the right thing to do – and the Permanent Court of Arbitration was established to resolve disputes between nations. It didn’t work, of course; but it was a step towards the ideal: that all disputes will be resolved via fair give and take. Just fifteen years later, of course, the whole thing ran up on the rocks. And in that it is good to keep in mind just why it failed – because the German military class perceived in July of 1914 that the moment to strike had come. That is, they felt it was the perfect opportunity to permanently alter the politico-economic system in their favor via violence. Russia was surging towards another revolutionary outbreak. France was riven by political corruption and bitter political faction. Britain was on the verge of Civil War over Irish Home Rule. The Germans felt the opportunity afforded by the assassination in Sarajevo allowed them to engage in what they believed would be a short and totally victorious war…Russia dethroned as Great Power, France reduced to satellite status, the UK forced to stay out of Continental affairs. From there, the German leadership saw itself striding from power to power to ultimate global domination.
It didn’t work. Because the world stood up to it – especially Britain, which held that no matter what, they couldn’t let Germany get her way via warfare. The US, as well, though very tardily and with nonsense from Wilson about making the world safe for Democracy. That wasn’t an issue at all – how people governed themselves was irrelevant. How they conducted themselves towards other powers was the only point. Victory was secured, at great cost, and the principle was broadly accepted – no war. Must negotiate. Anyone who starts a war is a criminal.
The rise of Hitler’s regime through all that into a cocked hat. The Allied failure to properly punish the Germans left Germany with vast latent power. Hitler’s rank dishonesty in dealing with foreign powers helped the world walk right into his trap. He wanted war. he wanted to use violence to get his way. He felt that anyone unwilling to use violence was a subhuman who deserved extermination. But the ideal was still there – and so France and Britain tried again and again to get Hitler to accept a price for peace. When Hitler showed in Poland that no amount of concessions would move him off his goal, there was nothing else to do but fight. And so the war was fought – once again on the principle that you can’t use violence to get ahead. That the Nazi regime acted with unbelievable brutality towards Jews merely made its defeat even more morally imperative…but the defeat of Germany was necessary even if Germany had never harmed a single Jew. The Germans had to be forced off the notion that they could conquer their way to power and prosperity.
And they were. And in 1945 the principle was solid. And the world could look forward to a long peace – except for one, small problem: the leaders of the victorious West were a combination of idiots and cowards. American. British. French. Everyone. All morons and cowards. They took the victory the people of the West had won and threw it away at the first opportunity. Sure, Communist infiltration played a role in the decisions made…but looking back on it, they’d have chosen no differently even if there were no Communists. They had come to loath their own people. They felt the two World Wars were caused by the common men and women of the West rather than the Western Ruling Class. They were determined to divest their peoples of power as soon as possible…positively throwing away their territories in a rush to give power to bands of armed thugs in their former colonial possessions.
And while they were doing this, they were busily sapping the moral and intellectual strength of the Western people. Dumbing down education. Denigrating Christianity. Family. Hard Work Sobriety. Thrift. Basic decency. All were eroded away because, it was felt, Western peoples were too dangerous. And here we sit in 2026 with mobs of feral Third World youths rioting in France as the French people cower, more afraid of being called racists than of defending their ancient civilization. Seeing this, an ill educated Western population can easily be convinced that it is such people who are the suckers. The heirs of Christianity. Of Republican ideals. Of hard work, family and being law abiding. What does it get them? A savage beating them while their own police run away. This is where the likes of Tucker get their audience…because nobody actually likes things as they are. But the youths of the West today don’t know their own history – only a sick, lying parody of it, presented to them people a Ruling Class which hates them. But they can see it is bad – and they are looking for some way to respond. Some world view which gives them a place – and a purpose. People like Tucker provide it. Tuckerism being a species of propaganda which is designed – very cleverly – to present itself as the bulwark of the West while actually being a poison designed to kill it.
Ironically, this is fueled by people who hate the West. Russian, Chinese and Islamist money is ultimately behind all of it. They want the people of the West to continue to despise themselves – but now to assist the anti-West in destroying the West. Nothing better than convincing the kids that the West was immoral to fight the World Wars. That the Jews had and have it coming. Not to turn back to what made the West great – especially its Christian heritage – but to simply boil over with hatred, and help set things on fire. Most people dismiss Tucker and his like as unimportant. They aren’t. They are very important and must be confronted. And part of that confrontation must be some admissions: most importantly that the West has been fooled. That it was mostly fooled by Westerners doesn’t change the fact of being fooled.
We have to do this because we must give the youth of the West a path to reviving our civilization. A faith in God, a faith in Republican ideals. A faith in family. This will require two simultaneous efforts – getting the foreign savages out of our nations, and hammering hard at those who are being paid by anti-Western forces to subvert the West. We can’t continue to allow the barbarians to remain here…but we also can’t simply allow people to lie in public. I know: I’m once again back on that subject: that lies are the problem. But, they are – they have nearly destroyed us and they are being used to finish us off. We either stop the liars, or we will die. Tucker and those like him cannot be allowed to appear in public to spread lies. What these traitors are saying cannot be first amendment protected. Even if they claim they are patriots – they aren’t, not a one of them – we still can’t allow them to lie. Keep in mind while they are lying – allowed to lie – so, too, are the Communist and Third World enemies of the West. And even if we got rid of the Communists and the foreign savages, if we retain in our public square a pack of liars, then eventually the Communists and savages will be back. Only when all of them are gone can we fully restore America – and the West.
