You’ve Got to Be Kidding!!!!!

The shooting that took place in Fort Hood over two years ago was the worst mass murder ever to take place on an American military base.  Thirteen people died and 29 were wounded by an Islamic radical shouting “Allah Akbar” as he fired.    The shooter, Nidal Hasan, was an Army Major serving as a psychiatrist.  He is also a Muslim.  He was inspired by radical Islamic cleric Anwar al-Awlaki, an al Qaeda leader in Yemen.  In fact, Hasan and Awlaki exchanged as many 20 emails, and this radical Islamic goon declared Hasan to be “a hero.”  Now Awlaki is worm food … he was killed by a U.S. drone strike.  But what about Major Nidal Hasan?

What happened at Ft. Hood was a terrorist attack.  A terrorist attack on an American military base that killed 13 people.  It was an attack carried on by a Muslim shouting praise to Allah as he shot 13 people dead.  It was an attack that was carried on under the tutelage of a radical Islamic cleric who was later targeted in our war on Islamic terror.

But what of the obAMATEUR administration?  You do remember, don’t you, that when obAMATEUR took office he told us that acts of terrorism would be referred to as “Man-caused disasters,” and that our war on terror would henceforth be referred to as our “overseas contingency operation.”  So …. What about Hasan’s attack at Ft. Hood?  Gang obAMATEUR has now informed us that this was not a terrorist attack, it was simply “WORKPLACE VIOLENCE”.

Again …. The obAMATEUR administration’s Department of Defense has, according to Sen. Susan Collins, classified the worst shooting on a military base by a Muslim in co-hoots with al Qaeda to be nothing more than WORKPLACE VIOLENCE.

Forget the word “terrorism.”  Forget the phrase Islamic terrorist.  We are talking about the Obama administration here!  This is the same administration that …

Rep. Allen West sums it up in a Tweet, “America has no Commander in Chief.”

Gotta love Allen West for accurately depicting the situation.

Imagine if some distraught individual went to an army base clinging to his bible and chanting scripture as he/she killed 13 people, then we’d have big sis Janet, saying she was justified in putting Christians on terrorist watch lists.

Unbelievable!

Here is a partial list:

To fundamentally transform the United States of America.

To put more Americans on food stamps than ever before.

To turn 16% of our economy over to the government (healthcare).

To plunder from the pockets of the producers and redistribute wealth.

To pay off political backers by “investing” in their non-sustainable solar companies.

To change union rules so as to make unionization easier.

To deny American energy efforts for the sake of “green” dreams.

To turn long-established bankruptcy law on its head by giving preferences to unsecured union creditors.

To apologize for America on the world stage.

To bow to the enemies of America.

To demonize millionaires and billionaires.

To implement rules and regulations costing businesses trillions each year.

To give the EPA power to destroy segments of our economy … coal, for instance.

To bailout certain industries and then stick the taxpayers with the tab.

To spend $800 billion on virtual dance projects and bridges for endangered squirrels.

To lose 2.5 million jobs in our economy.

To sue states when they try and do what the federal government fails to do – protect its borders.

The list can go on and on .. and it is way too easy to compile.  Please feel free to add to the list.  This should make for some interesting debate.

12 Former Officials Indicted for Voter Fraud

Well as the talking point goes, all Republicans are racist, so….
….. for whom did these officials commit fraud?.

QUITMAN, GA (WALB) – 12 former Brooks County officials were indicted for voter fraud. The suspects are accused of illegally helping people vote by absentee ballot.

State officials launched an investigation after an unusually high number of absentee ballots were cast in the July 2010 primary election. “As a result of their grand jury findings 12 individuals were indicted in that particular matter and we will be trying that case in a court of judicial law instead of a court of public opinion so that will be pending this next year,” said District Attorney Joe Mulholland.

The defendants include some workers in the voter registrar’s office and some school board members. They are Angela Bryant, April Proctor, Brenda Monds, Debra Denard, Lula Smart, Kechia Harrison, Robert Denard, Sandra Cody, Elizabeth Thomas, Linda Troutman, Latashia Head, and Nancy Denard.

And as the second talking point goes.  “Democrats don’t commit voter fraud.”

Here is another example, drones, of Democrat voter fraud.  We see and will see this more and more as the Democrats begin to lose in the arena of ideas, when class envy, class warfare, demagoguery and race cards no longer have any affect.

No wonder, liberals are against any type of voter verification for without it they could not pad the ballot box.

The Occupy Anywhere Crowd are continuing their mooch errrr… march (yeah that’s it) in Richmond.

Another difference between the OAAC and the TEA Partiers, the TEA Partiers have to PAY for their rallies while the moochers do not.

For example: Which group has shown it is capable of rioting and destruction of public/private property?   The TEA Party has to put up an insurance bond to pay for property damage (not to mention all the other fees) while the anarchists do not.

Nancy Pelosi has a statement she wants to make about violent rhetoric:

“I have concerns about some of the language that is being used because I saw this myself in the late 70s in San Francisco, this kind of rhetoric. … It created a climate in which violence took place. … I wish we would all curb our enthusiasm in some of the statements and understand that some of the ears that it is falling on are not a balanced as the person making the statements may assume.”

Oh wait.  I’ve made a mistake here.  That wasn’t Nancy Pelosi talking about the occupiers.  That is what she had to say about TEA PARTIERS …..  Sorry.  My bad.  I went back to my notes .. and here’s what she actually had to say about Obama’s children:

“God bless them .. for their spontaneity. It’s independent … it’s young, it’s spontaneous, and it’s focused. And it’s going to be effective.”

Certainly puts their (the liberals) views in perspective doesn’t it?

Is obAMATEUR a liar or just bad at math?

obAMATEUR has been caught in a lie yet again.  A liar is a person who knowingly says false statements  if they know those statements to be untrue at the time they utter them.  This brings us to some usual class warfare screen from the obAMATEUR.  Was it ignorance (he has an adequate supply, after all) or was he lying.

On multiple occasions, the obAMATEUR has stated that he should not be paying a lower effective tax rate than a teacher.  Here’s just one specific example (among several):  At a recent town hall meeting in Mountain View, California, the obAMATEUR said, “Somebody who’s making $50,000 a year as a teacher shouldn’t be paying a higher effective tax rate than somebody like myself.”

That’s a pretty bold claim on the part of the obAMATEUR.  FactCheck.org did the math, and you don’t have to guess at what they found … obAMATEUR’s claim that he pays a lower tax rate than a teacher earning $50,000 a year is FALSE (not surprisingly).  Here are the details from FactCheck.org.

A single taxpayer with $50,000 of income would have paid 11.9% in federal income taxes for 2010, while the Obamas paid more than twice that rate — 25.3% (and higher rates than that in 2009 and 2008). And if the $50,000-a-year teacher were in Obama’s tax situation — supporting a spouse and two children — he or she would have paid no federal income taxes at all.

The outcome is the same whether we count payroll taxes or not, and even if we look at what the $50,000 earner will pay on 2011 income. Whatever the assumption, the rates Obama paid were higher — and usually much higher.

The obAMATEUR has made it crystal clear that his 2012 reelection campaign is going to be based on the exploitation of wealth envy.  He has and will continue to resort to flat-out lying in order to pander to the dumb-masses (liberal drones to you slow witted leftists) who don’t know any better.  The obAMATEUR is creating his own reality – a reality where the rich don’t pay their “fair share” and he pays taxes at a lower rate than middle-class Americans  (A reality where many liberal simple-minded drones reside – some of them post here).  None of his statments are true, yet he will continue to push these ideas until people actually believe that they are true.

Me personally, I will go with liar.  These statements are untrue, he knows them to be untrue, and he knows them to be untrue at the moment he makes them.  That makes him a liar.

The obAMATEUR’s own campaign team has acknowledged this strategy of focusing on wealth envy, because he has zero accomplishments when it comes to the economy (and most other aspects of his presidency).  His advisors say, “He needs to shift the focus from his stewardship of the economy to the stark choice confronting voters about the nation’s political leadership.”  Yep, he can’t run on “FOUR MORE YEARS” or “ARE YOU BETTER OFF NOW THAN WHEN I WAS ELECTED?”   So now jobs are no longer the focus for the obAMATEUR.  I guess he got tired of “not resting” until he fixed the economy and created the jobs he promised.  Screw jobs, because the obAMATEUR knows that he doesn’t know how to solve that problem.

Instead, let’s focus on his leadership (in reality the lack thereof).  An obAMATEUR campaign advisor says, “Most Americans are very concerned about the future and the direction we’re going to take.”  I don’t see how the obAMATEUR  administration thinks that this is going to work in their favor considering the latest Rasmussen polls show that just 17% of Americans say the country is heading in the right direction.

So what direction does the obAMATEUR want to take this country?  Toward a redistributive society where the government seizes money from the Haves and gives it to the Have-Nots; toward a society where political leaders, not the private sector, decide where new economic growth will and will not be, and where new jobs will be created and where they will be eliminated.  The LATimes reports, “Obama is tapping into resentment over the growing concentration of wealth in fewer and fewer hands.”  They say this “helps the president forge an emotional connection with his base, especially minorities and working-class voters who have been falling behind.”

Does this re-election strategy inspire you to work hard or risk your savings to start the business of your dreams?  If the obAMATEUR manages to pull this off based on a re-election campaign of wealth envy, then the achievers in this country better bend over and grab their ankles.

I am so glad the pResident has not rested since taking office and promising to fix the economy, create jobs, heal the earth…  ok he did not say he will not rest on the last one.  But the first two he did and we have seen NOTHING from this so-called “leader” but more of the same failed liberal policies of the past.   I know… I know…you drones can’t wait to cry “Republicans do it too”.  That was before the last election.  We now have some TRUE CONSERVATIVES working against the RINOs.

We’ve all been waiting with anticipation for the obAMATEUR to return from his vacation and explain to us his grand jobs plan … right?

Oh yeah!  We’re saved!

The smartest man ever to become president, has a plan!  Or does he?  Finally, almost three years in office, Our “sort of a god”, the “rock star”, the “one”, the savior of the world, president who had to “step down” into the office of the presidency is going to step forward and present his plan so Americans can go back to work.

But no.  Once obAMATEUR left for “his so well deserved” vacation, his dog washers are making excuses and down-grading (just like our credit rating) the expectations of his jobs plan.  It was down-graded to a jobs outline.  So from a specific plan with details on job creation, we are now to expect an outline!

Okay…okay…that could work.  But wait…. an outline is asking too much from this pResident.  Now, according to deputy spokesman Josh Earnest,  we can anticipate “some reasonable ideas that can have a tangible impact,”

Who is he kidding?  The American people feel more negatively about our economy than they’ve felt in decades … and that’s because the American people know that we have a man in the White House that has no clue in the world what he is doing.  He’s a freaking community organizer and leftist activist, – not a brilliant economic mind.  This man doesn’t have the knowledge or experience to run a lemonade stand, yet there he sits on his godly throne telling us that he is going to save our economy with some “reasonable ideas”.

We have heard it all – We were going to get a plan AFTER his vacation (after saying “I will not rest until….”), then an outline and now a list of “reasonable ideas”.  Who gets to define “reasonable”?

We are going to be blessed with Stimulus II, or III or whatever, more “green jobs”, weatherization,  you know, more from the oh so successful Stimulus I that was going to keep unemployment under 8%.

The drones, of course, will be waiting with baited breath for their tweets to regurgitate the dumbed down talking points.  This will be nothing but a bad plan, so obAMATEUR can have a campaign issue – “see, the Republicans don’t want a recovery.  They are fighting me at every turn.”   or some such nonsense.

The Tea Parties, the Future of Liberty and Liberal Intentional Slander

After Barak Obama (the obAMATEUR to realists) became president in January 2009, he signed the infamous “stimulus package”, worth $787 billion, of liberal dream spending with virtually no Republican support (and rightfully so).  As it was rammed through with little reading or debate, we were told that it was “necessary”, “to keep unemployment under 8%”.  Practically overnight as one of its highest priorities, the federal government became the “Home Depot” by weatherizing government buildings and housing projects (excuse me “housing developments”).  Streets and highways with little or no need of repair would be broken up and repaved.  The DOT and other government agencies would spend millions on signs advertising the supposed benefits of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.  I saw one of those signs first hand in Washington DC.  It stated that the park on Roosevelt Island would be receiving a generous “grant” to facilitate the involvement of local youth in the removal of “non-indigenous plants”.  To put it simply, local kids would be weeding the island.  This was going to save the economy and the country??

Then there were several “projects” and “studies” also financed by the ARRA.  One project, numbered 1R01AA01658001, titled “Malt Liquor and Marijuana: Factors in their Concurrent or Separate Use”.  This grant of $400,000 to a professor at New York State at Buffalo has the following official abstract: “We appreciate the opportunity to refocus this application to achieve a single important aim related to our understanding of young adults’ use of malt liquor, other alcoholic beverages, and Marijuana, all of which confer high risks for experiencing negative consequences including addiction.”  Wow, $400,000 to study something we already knew???  Other such “grants” followed, to ACORN, to the study of porn, to the study of fish migrations and mating habits of certain animals, etc. etc.

The cost of the stimulus was later revised to $862 billion (an underestimate of 10%).  If a private business made such a blunder in outgoing funds it would most likely go out of business.  But I digress…..  As a result of this boondoggle of liberal spending, the TEA Party was born.  It was by accident really that this organization was founded.  Thanks to Rick Santelli on CNBC and his rant against the stimulus package and a particular proposal to for it to also subsidize what he called the “losers mortgages”.  He proposed a ceremonial dumping of  of derivative securities into Lake Michigan.  A few hours later a website popped up with a call for a “Chicago Tea Party” and Santelli’s video rant. The video became viral across the nation.  Average Americans were furious about the massive new spending and the revelations about previous spending on those “studies” and “grants”.  This alone was not the sustaining factor in keeping the TEA Party movement alive but the fact that: Under President Obama, federal spending has been growing at an unprecedented pace.  We are adding $4.8 billion to the national debt everyday.  The long-term viability of Medicare and Social Security isn’t merely uncertain – as so many analysts would have us believe.  In fact their failure is is a sure thing without structural changes.  By adding massive new entitlements with the health care bill we are simply going to go broke faster.

The TEA party gained so much momentum so fast, it was a threat to the liberal establishment.  Immediately pundits, the obAMATEUR friendly media, the Democrats went into full gear with their baseless and usual smear tactics and attacks.

Susan Roesgen of CNN (once an anchor in New Orleans) was going after TEA Party enthusiasts at a Chicago rally, suggesting they were stupid and irrational (no objective reporting there).

Eugene Robinson of the Washington Post: “The danger of political violence in this country comes overwheminly from one direction – the right, not the left.  The vitriolic, anti-government hate speech that is spewed on talk radio every day – and, quite regurlarly, at TEA Party rallies – is calibrated not to inform but to incite.”

MSNBC’s Ed Shutlz (I KNOW NOTHING!!!): “I believe that the TEA Partiers are misguided.  I think they are racist, for the most part.  I think that they are clinging to their guns and their religion.  And I think in many respects, they are what’s wrong with America.”

Actress Janeane Garofalo: “This is about hating a black man in the White House. This is racism straight up.  There are nothing but a bunch of tea-bagging readnecks.”

Comedian Bill Maher: “the teabaggers, they’re not a movement, they’re a cult.”

Democratic strategist Stece McMahon: “The reason people walk into schools and open fire is because of rhetoric like this and because of attitudes like this.  The reason people walk onto military bases and open fire is because of rhetoric like this and attitudes like this.  Really, what they’re doing is not that much different that what Osama bin Laden is doing in recruiting people and encouraging them to hate America.”

Chris Mathews claimed that the TEA Partiers are all “monochromatic” and “all white”.  A quick look and amateur and profession videos at rallies quickly proved this talking point wrong.

However, a Washington Post/ABC poll found that 14% of voters say the TEA Party is “most in synch” with their values; 20% say TEA Partiers are “most in tune with economic problems Americans are now facing”.

A most interesting poll came from TargetPoint Consulting which interviewed 500 attendees at the April 15, 2010 Tax Rally in DC Here are some of the results:

The TEA Partiers are united on the issues of debt, the growth of government, and health care reform

They are socially conservative on the one hand and libertarian on the other, split roughly down the middle.

They are older, more educated, and more conservative that average voters and they are “distinctly not Democrat”.

This brings us to the present day.  The President’s approval ratings are low and getting lower and Congressional Democrats are the lowest and getting worse.  Members of his party are running away from him (as seen in the November elections with declines of his speaking at their rallies).  Now with the debate on the debt limit, Americans are seeing that the Republicans have presented plans while the Democrats and the President have presented NONE.  The only thing liberal Democrats and their drones can do is continue to attack the GOP and the TEA party candidates who won in November who are doing what their constituents want – lower spending and reduce the size of the budget with has grown over 25% in just two years.  There is no way you can convince anyone that there a no room for cuts.  The liberal drones continue with their attacks of racism.  Andrew Brietbart has offered anyone who can prove racism at a TEA party rally with a cash reward.  With all the amateur and professional videos out there NOT A SINGLE ONE has captured anything close to the looney left’s claims (of course, the left now claims criticizing the Presidents failed policies is racism).

The Democrats are out of new ideas.  They continue to tout the same old ones that have failed time and again – more spending and more taxes.  When the President says we must live within our means he is not talking of cutting spending to match revenues, but raising taxes in hopes of raising revenues to match spending.  His mishandling of this debt limit and lack of leadership is showing among his Twitter followers (losing 30,000) and elsewhere, his support continues to dwindle.

When President Obama spoke before the United Nations General Assembly in September 2009, he declared that a world order that elevates one country or group of countries over others is bound to fail.  So he’s changing the order.  If his domestic policy priority is the redistribution of wealth, his foreign policy seems to be the redistribution of power.  The TEA Party has members of every race and creed is continuing to gain momentum and returning the conversation to limited government in scope and power.

For a Change of Pace and Ironic Justice: Kerry Spokesman Stripped of Silver Star

John F. Kerry almost became president running on the basis of his alleged heroism in Vietnam. Thanks to the efforts of a group of truth-tellers, the Swiftboat Veterans for Truth, the serious holes in the fantasy narrative propounded by the Kerry campaign came to the attention of enough Americans that John Kerry was not the first faux-Irish President of the United States.

One of Kerry’s enablers in propounding his imaginary heroism was a man named Wade Sanders, who himself held a Silver Star, and who introduced Kerry to the Democratic Convention. Scott Swett, who was central to the unraveling of the Kerry storyline, tells us that the Kerry enabler has been exposed for what he is. His Winter Soldier site has the details:

John Kerry was introduced at the 2004 Democratic National Convention by Wade Sanders, a retired Navy Captain and former Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Navy who served as a Swift Boat officer in Vietnam. Like Kerry, Sanders was the recipient of a Silver Star for gallantry in action. During the 2004 campaign, Sanders functioned as Kerry lead attack dog against the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth, repeatedly denouncing the veterans on the air as liars and comparing them to Nazi propagandists.

Wade Sanders is now in Federal prison, serving a 37-month sentence for possessing child pornography. Now the Navy Times reports that Secretary of the Navy Ray Mabus has revoked Sanders’ Silver Star. The highly unusual decision appears unrelated to Sanders’ felony conviction. A Navy spokesman cited “subsequently determined facts and evidence surrounding both the incident for which the award was made and the processing of the award itself.” John Kerry has to be hoping this doesn’t become a trend.

As one might imagine, the media has ignored this story. Even the Navy Times declined to post its own article online.

The Coming (Ongoing) Constitutional Debate

When it comes to the Constitution, there are two main camps – the Constitutionalists and the “Living” Constitutionalists.   The Constitutionalists believe that the Constitution of 1787 can work at all times.  The Framers’ Constitution has guided this nation for most of the first two centuries and has rendered the freest, most prosperous, and most creative nation in the history of the world.

Then there are the liberals, who believe that the Constitution (and it interpretation) must “evolve” with the times and therein lies the problems we face today.  Proponents of the “21st century constitution” or “living constitution” aim to transform our nation’s supreme law beyond recognition – and with a minimum of public attention and debate.  Indeed, if there is an overarching theme to what they wish to achieve, it is the diminishment of the democratic and representative process of American government.  It is the replacement of a system of REPUBLICAN government, in which the Constitution is largely focused upon the architecture of government in order to minimize the likelihood of abuse of power, with a system of judicial government, in which substantive policy outcomes are increasingly determined by federal judges.  Rather than merely defining broad rules of the game for the legislative and executive branches of government, the new constitution would compel specific outcomes.

Forms of the Founders’ Constitution would remain – a bicameral legislation, periodic elections, state governments – but the important decisions would increasingly be undertaken by the courts, specifically the federal courts.  It will be the California referendum process writ national, a process by which the decisions of millions of voters on matters such as racial quotas, social services funding and immigration policy have been routinely overturned by single judges acting in the name of the Constitution – not the Framers’ Constitution, but a “constitution for our times”, a “living constitution”.

One of the liberals’ favorite argument for a “living constitution” is the “the founding fathers could not have predicted …. (insert favorite liberal cause or ideology here).  That is where they ignore the obvious.  The Framers put into place a means for the nation to amend the Constitution – to change it “with the times”.  This process has worked for over 200 years.  But this would put too much power into the hands of the people and not that of the politicians and their special interests (as we have seen in the last 40 years).  This process has been undermined time and again to the point where many “rights” have been granted through creative interpretation.

The Framers, through long experience of witnessing abuse of power, knew what they were doing when they wrote the Constitution, it amending process and its Bill of Rights, which specifically addressed situations and solutions to conditions that are not covered in the Constitution.  Too bad, MODERN liberals and their activists do not understand (or choose not to) these basic principles.  It is time that they did.
