Civilization is Good

Take a moment to study this picture:

The modern Left loathes it – they see it as genocidal conquest. But it wasn’t that at all – it was the spread of civilization. The night of Barbarism flees before the light of Progress. The pioneer, the sodbuster, the railroad and, at last, the city. A new world is born and it is better for everyone…even the Barbarians if they give up their old and savage ways.

I bring this up because in the wake of taking out Maduro, plenty are saying “oh, its just for oil”. It isn’t just for oil. But even if it was – even if we said the only thing we want to do is physically take ownership of Venezuela’s oil reserves – this is not a bad thing…because the reason we would do so is to efficiently extract cheap and abundant energy to be placed on the open market so that the whole world – and most especially the poor – can benefit from it. Our ownership of the oil is a boon to the world…the Venezuelan government’s ownership of it is a boon to the leaders of Venezuela and a select group of Russian, Chinese and Iranian oligarchs. It is said that Venezuela sits atop the world’s largest oil reserves – even more than Saudi Arabia. This is worth, I am told, something like thirteen trillion dollars…and as long as the Maduro regime was in place, the people of Venezuela were going to keep rooting in garbage cans for scraps while the Ruling Class lived in palaces. It was unjust for that regime to continue to hold that asset – just as it was unjust for a small number of savages to hold the asset which eventually became the United States of America.

It is way past time we ditched the whole anti-West charade…this stupid concept of the Noble Savage. This idea that putting a city where a howling wilderness once stood is a bad thing. It is all so very stupid – proved stupid by the fact that not one person who rants and raves about the settlement of the USA is willing to assume a 1492 lifestyle. It is this concept that underlays all the other stupid concepts – like the idea that because a Third World dictator shouts “death to America” he has a point…or some concern for the well being of his people. Maduro could have made his people very wealthy…he could have tapped into the vast wealth of Venezuela and made sure that the profits from oil and gas extraction were used to increase the overall wealth of Venezuela. It wasn’t hard. The damned oil is there, plenty of people with knowledge and expertise were ready and willing to get it out of the ground and on to the market…but if Maduro had made the people of Venezuela wealthy, then he wouldn’t have remained in charge. It is as simple as that – like Lenin, Stalin, Castro and so many others, he knew that the only thing keeping him in charge was an impoverished people held down by well paid goon squads. Any alteration of this dynamic and out they go. Maduro and his cronies are not Venezuelan patriots…they only care about themselves.

And I, for one, and just darned tired of playing a stupid game…It is only now, in the 21st century, that some governments are starting to arise in Latin America that are based upon a patriotic desire for the people to do well – Argentina and El Salvador leading the way here. You think about Argentina – independence since 1810, a large (1 million square miles) country with vast natural resources and an educated population of mostly European origin…basically the same ingredients the USA has but until Milei got into office in 2023, not one government of Argentina had ever really cared about Argentinians, as such. Just various factions fighting for control via violence and voter fraud…causing a nation which should be at least as rich as the USA to still be poor here in 2026. Good to keep in mind when thinking about Latin America is that independence didn’t come from a vast, popular uprising against Spanish rule but because a tiny, Liberal elite felt that with Napoleon’s occupation of Spain in 1808, they had a chance to take over. Such a start was not conducive to the development of the sort of patriotism which makes for a successful nation…it has slowly developed over time and is now strong enough that it is forcing Latin American governments to become real governments rather than collections of opportunists seeking their chance to loot the treasury.

And you’ll notice that the genuine patriots have no problem with us – even if they disagree with us. I expect that patriots from another country will argue vigorously with me…but I also expect mutual respect. And we’re getting it…because that is the way forward. To make the deal. Sign the treaty. Do what is best by our respective peoples while also giving reasonable concessions to our foreign partners. Yet another chance for us to stop playing a stupid game – Milei is a man we can work with. A Maduro is a man to be whacked at the earliest opportunity…so, too, the leaders of Mexico, Columbia, Cuba and Nicaragua. They aren’t patriots – they are factions, usually these days in cahoots with Cartels when not owned outright by them. When they say “death to America” they aren’t saying anything at all…they are just playing a game which allows them to keep stealing. I saw a talking head on TV who was asked what she thought about Mexico’s “President” condemning Trump…she correctly answered that she didn’t give a darn what the so-called President of Mexico said…because she’s not really the President. She was installed by various criminal means to be a facade for a cowardly and corrupt Ruling Class. We here in the USA might have to deal with her for practical reasons…but for goodness sake, don’t think of her as a Mexican patriot…she’s barely retained a shred of humanity at the moment. We hope for her repentance but we need to keep in mind what we’re dealing with.

Back on that wagon train, my friends…back on the path of bringing civilization to the world, and whacking the barbarians at the earliest opportunity. Because civilization is good.

A Warm, Collective Open Thread

UPDATE: Wow, that was a bit of a surprise in Venezuela. Between this and Iran we’ve just instructed our enemies that there’s nothing they have we can’t take away. This will greatly assist Rubio in “negotiating” with them.

Mamdani in his inaugural address talked of ending “rugged individualism” and replacing it with “the warmth of collectivism”. I found examples of this – bit of a before and after:

That, of course, is Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn; first as a young artillery officer in the Red Army, secondly about ten years later after drawing an eight year stint in Gulag for writing a letter mildly critical of collectivist warmth. Keep in mind that he was plucked out of the Red Army while he was at the front and the day after he had saved an artillery battery from a local Nazi counterattack. He was arrested by SMERSH – an organization founded by Stalin (it stood for “death to spies”) – to foster collectivist warmth at the front during WWII…the warmth being fostered was mostly to keep SMERSH personnel out of the front lines.

Because, you see, in a life and death struggle against the Fascist Beast, the Communists were determined to be firmly in the “life” camp. Cowards to a man and woman, the apparatchiks that Stalin had infested Russia with since the Revolution were living a nice life and certainly didn’t want to see it end over something as trivial as a Nazi invasion…but when the Motherland was calling for complete self-sacrifice by everyone, kinda hard to justify keeping yourself out of the combat units…unless you can find something useful to do elsewhere. And where better than ferreting out spies for a paranoid Stalin who couldn’t imagine a Soviet agency not being filled with people who despised him? But this means you had to keep finding them, right? I mean, if there ever came a point where you had defeated the Fascist spies, then it was time to pick up a rifle and charge into a Nazi trench. So, they just kept finding spies…and it didn’t matter how absurd the case was…there just had to be a case. Solzhenitsyn’s letter to a friend was all that was necessary…and the combat officer was degraded in front of his own troops and sent into the sausage grinder of Gulag.

But Mamdani says it will be different! How? Well, he says that if private landowners aren’t proper stewards of their property, then the City will step in and take over. And who decides what proper stewardship is? Well, the City. And never in human history has there been a government swayed by money and connections, right?

I mean, you know what is going to happen – some tenants will pitch a fit about a particular landlord and get the City to take over…and then if its not a desirable property the City will just let it rot (the tenants not paying rent, of course – or only nominal rent)…if it is a desirable property, then the tenants will be booted out in favor of those with City connections (they’ll do this by letting the tenants slide on the rent and then surprising them with eviction for unpaid rent…and these people will suddenly find that the byzantine system of eviction in NYC doesn’t apply to them). The bottom line is that the connected will wind up in all the nice areas – carefully guarded by the police who will never be so defunded that they can’t protect the Ruling Class – and everything else just falls apart…because no landlord is going to invest a cent in property which can be seized at the whim of Mamdani’s college roommate’s brother in law who’s now got a job in City government.

There are two ways to become Communist – and there have always only been these two ways: be stupid, or be evil. You can be a combination of both, but you simply must be stupid or evil. We tend to think of people like Marx as wrong. That is not the way to view it. He clearly wasn’t stupid – whatever you want to say about his philosophy, he certainly did create something that has moved millions. So, not stupid: thus, evil.

You think about it – he was the son of a lawyer who owned land. He had a good education paid for by his father. He dodged the draft (he being then a subject of the Kingdom of Prussia). He started writing for various Leftwing rags supported by rich people and ultimately Engels became his benefactor – Engels being the son of a very rich man. Point blank: Marx never worked a day in his life: he hadn’t the foggiest notion of the economic and spiritual needs of workers. But Marx did find he didn’t like Christian Europe – though technically Protestant (his father – a non-observant Jew – had officially converted to avoid official Prussian anti-Semitism when the Rhineland came under Prussian Rule in 1815), his Jewish background was a social hindrance…but rather than trying to understand why and seek amelioration (as many Jews did through the 19th century, being notably successful in the UK and USA on this front) he just decided he hated it…and cooked up a philosophy who’s main point was the destruction of everything he hated – Christianity, nobility, family and country. His work is very much a work-backwards thing…that is, he knew what he hated and he crafted his philosophy just so the destruction of the hated thing was justified.

I mean, think about “From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs”. What absolute drivel. What is anyone’s ability? How do you know they are fully employing their ability? What is a need? How do you ensure that everyone’s needs are met all at once? How do you assign priority between needs? It is just stupid – the whole thing is unworkable. But if you want to convince a Christian to murder every priest and destroy every family, nothing better…because if you don’t think about it, it seems like a good idea. I mean, everyone has needs, right? Why can’t they all be met?

Oh, that’s right – what you might call a “need” the next guy might call a luxury…and this is before we get into a debate about having three pairs of size ten loafers but five people need them.

And it lead to 100 million murders…so far. The philosophy is still murdering people in China, North Korea, Cuba, Vietnam and other places…and stirring up hatred, lies and theft everywhere…and even some murder even in places like the USA. Essentially, once you get to Marxism then you can simply justify any monstrous act and dress it up as altruism. Lenin was the first to figure this out…but he was eagerly followed by Stalin, Mussolini, Hitler, Mao, Pol Pot…and now Mamdani.

He’s not a murderer! How dare you!

Because he’s a communist – the only reason he hasn’t had someone shot is because he doesn’t have the power. If he ever gets the power, he’ll kill people. He’ll steal untold sums. He’ll do everything rotten any human being has ever thought of and he’ll announce it as Serving Humanity. He’s either evil or stupid – though he seems more a combination of the two. A trust fund baby who’s never worked a day in his life is going to make sure the landlords behave…as if he has the slightest clue about maintaining a building or what its like to deal with tenants who treat the property like garbage because they feel immune to eviction. He’s already showing in his appointments that he wants an anti-Semitic, Islamist and Communist regime to punish New York City for daring to be American.

Now, how much damage he’ll actually do remains to be seen – Democrats are in a bit of a bind in that he’s a hero to the far left, but huge amounts of Democrat money are at stake in NYC and if he starts driving that money down to Florida and Texas, that’s going to be a major problem for the Democrats…they’ll start running out of money to steal, themselves. So, we might find that while Mamdani is allowed to make his grandiose communist statements, his wings are clipped in actual policy. But that doesn’t change what he is – remember that. Unless he repents and admits he was wrong, he’s someone to be warily watched.

And watched while we, under Trump, defund the Left. That still remains the key to avoiding a future of Collectivist Warmth…because the real fraud of the Left is that they’ve been subsidized by us. Without taxpayer funds, they will fall apart. That is the best way to torpedo Mamdani right now – just don’t send federal dollars. Say that given his unconstitutional actions, funds are being withheld until policy changes. He’ll want very much to take over NYC rental properties…but you still have to pay the owners if you are taking their property. NYC’s budget is already stretched past the breaking point…he won’t find billions to dispossess the landlords. In my view, the Mamdani experiment can be terribly useful for us – a real dose of Communism to hold up to American eyes, convincing them to never, ever go that route.

Condemn the Disgraceful

A major reassessment is needed. We really do need to free our minds from conventional wisdom. All of us have been underneath a massive weight of propaganda our whole lives and much of what we think is true is false – even those of us who have done the most to break free are still largely working on the assumptions that there was some logic and decency behind the actions controlling our society this past century or more.

Trump sparked massive Establishment outrage when he placed his name on the Kennedy Center. They acted like someone had urinated on the Washington Monument. The fact that the Kennedy Center had decayed and was a mere slush fund for the Left didn’t matter…Trump was the person violating all decency by putting his name on it! But even in the debate back and forth on it – I think it is enormously funny – everyone was missing the part about whether or not there should be a Kennedy Center.

JFK was very much a Greatest Generation/Boomer phenomena. That is, it was all an act – the appearance of excellence masking a sordid and rather incompetent reality. But now the Greatest Generation is almost all gone and the Boomers are aging out. I was born in late 1964 so I’m the very tail end of the Boomers…and I’m sixty one. The Boomers who really set the tone were born fifteen and twenty years before I was…and they are pushing or over eighty. That is, there aren’t a lot of people left who care to defend that time period. Once upon a time, “where were you when you heard Kennedy was shot?” was a meaningful social benchmark…I wasn’t even a gleam in Dad’s eye at the time. You’d have to be at least 72 to have an even partially connected memory of it. To have it be really meaningful, you’d have to be eighty or more. And now we can look back and wonder just why so much angst was invested in the event?

Sure, it was a shock and, yes, significant questions persist to this day about just how it happened and why. But as for the man, himself, there isn’t much to say. A mediocre junior officer in the Navy during WWII massaged into a very media-driven political career where the showmanship far outstripped the statesmanship. My Dad was a Democrat in 1960 but he voted Nixon that year on grounds that JFK was a lightweight (though Dad had reservations about Nixon as well). That towards the end we have indicators that JFK was waking up to the fact that he was a mere facade is neither here nor there – before he could do anything to buck that reality, he was dead (and might be why he died)…and the actual legacy is not too great. Impelling us on to the Moon shot was significant but almost all the work was done after he died. Other than that, we have the Bay of Pigs fiasco, the totally blown Cuban Missile Crisis, backing down on the Berlin Wall and our increasing involvement in Vietnam as what Kennedy left us. However you slice it, this isn’t the stuff of Eternal Flames. Or Kennedy Centers.

I’ve long thought about writing a booked called Unserious Men – it would be about all the leaders of the West since prior to WWI who have simply run us up on the rocks over and over again…and who are for the most part highly honored to this day. But just taking it from the American perspective, I rate our successful Presidents since the Civil War as these:

Grant, Cleveland, McKinley, Coolidge, Reagan and Trump.

That’s it. The rest ran from incompetent to malevolent (and often both). A series of people who worked the system to climb the greased pole and wind up in the office of the most powerful man in the world. Not people who thought seriously about what was best or what theory should govern action…just work it. Fake it till you make it. Get the brass ring no matter what. They weren’t alone, of course: for each one who made it there are a dozen who twisted and turned mightily trying to climb that pole but failed in the end. On the other hand, the men I rate as successes did have a theory and wanted to see it implemented…and their political efforts weren’t directed towards getting themselves into office, but their ideas into reality. Huge difference.

One might say that we owe some respect to those who managed to get into office. I say, no. The office is a place of respect…but if a disreputable man enters it, then it is besmirched and it can only be cleaned by casting out the dirt. That is, saying what the occupant was. Defining our terms. Not letting our sense of politeness or nostalgia allow things to slide. When Trump put up those insulting placards on Biden and Obama’s pictures, that was a necessary purgative. Sure, it was also Trump’s sense of humor…but Biden and Obama are not the good guys. In office they were cruel, greedy, spiteful and incompetent. They poisoned American politics…perhaps beyond cure (though we still hope for a cure). And for no other reason than narcissism…they both of them thought they were the greatest men alive. But to be bi-partisan here, I also have great disdain for W these days…the man took the loyalty of the GOP base and simply turned his back on it. We stood up and fought for the guy for eight years. Trusted him. Invested in him. Thought he was at least trying to do the right thing. And since he left office he’s had plenty of nice things to say about the Clintons and Obamas, but when the Clintons and Obamas call us racist Nazi traitors…dead silence. That also poisons American politics…it is a grave act of omission. It is consent to having Obama poison us. And once you’re part of the conspiracy in any form, you’re totally in the conspiracy…even if you didn’t mean to be.

And it is all over the place. You take a look at the massive corruption Walz has presided over in Minnesota and you know that it wasn’t just him – it was everyone who worked with him. They all knew. And then you realize that this type of corruption has been going on for decades…so that means when the GOP had total control of the government in, say, 2005, it was going on and nobody did anything about it. Which means the GOP knew and was in on it as well. I recall that when one of Peter the Great’s ministers was caught stealing he sentence the man to be knouted (beaten with a thick leather truncheon) and it was common soldiers who did the beating…after a time, Peter ordered it to stop but the soldiers, drenched in sweat and breathing hard from their effort (they had gone at it with a will), said, “just a bit more, Little Father: he stole the bread out of our mouths!”. That is the sort of attitude we have to start taking towards these people…that money wasn’t just a figure on a balance sheet…it was your grandmother’s in home care that was denied, it’s that decaying bridge at risk of collapse, its your brown-out for lack of up-to-date power lines, it is the wounded veteran waiting ten years to get benefits, it is the peeling paint in your local school…it is your sustenance that was stolen, kicked back and remitted to Somalia and Mexico.

The condition our country is in isn’t an accident. It was deliberate. It was brought here by people who think they’re better than everyone else and this gives them a license to steal and to not care about how many people who die in the process. They need to be beaten within an inch of their lives…not given a statue. And until we start treating them as they deserve, we really can’t break the chains they’ve bound us with.

At War With the Wicked

The theft of welfare funds in Minnesota has been a topic but now we’re also learning what we already knew: huge amounts of money sent to Ukraine were siphoned off…and, in the end, it will be to corrupt Ukrainians, Europeans and Americans (and I won’t be surprised if some Russians got in on it, as well).

To be fair, almost as long as there has been war there have been war contractors and thus corruption. Napoleon dealt with it by periodically shooting a contractor…not actually to stop the theft, but to keep it to a dull roar. When governments are spending vast sums of money – that is, spending someone else’s money – the temptation to rake off is high. But what we’re seeing out of Ukraine is a bit astonishing. Huge amounts of money which was supposed to go to support the Ukraine battle and home fronts stolen and probably winding up in bank accounts around world…and done with the active and widespread cooperation of Ukrainian government officials, including officials of the Executive branch which is tasked with, you know, sending men to die in battle for the future of Ukraine. Roll that around in your head: the Russians are knocking at the gates of your country, they could break through at any time…every ounce of effort has to be directed to the front…but here were whole networks of Ukrainians (and others) using its as an opportunity to get hookers and blow money.

John Lennon once famously sung about a possible future with no religion – well, Johnny, here ya go. You got what you wanted: a society which doesn’t remotely believe in God. The result? Men dying in a pointless war while those who sent them to die steal everything not nailed down. It is all of a piece, you see? The whole nauseating degradation of the modern world stems from that – people don’t believe in God.

We have people writing weepy-eyed articles right now about how cruel and unjust it is for us to whack drug mules on the high seas. This is a form of theft – part and parcel with those who were stealing the rations of Ukrainian soldiers. It only seems like separate issues but you have to raise your point of view – the person getting a kick back for a Ukrainian defense contract is the same species of crook as the person writing an article essentially saying we have to let the drugs flow. That is, let the poison flow. Have to let people continue to die. Not just the drug addicts, but also people over the whole chain…remember, lots of people get murdered in Latin and South America as the Cartels fight for supremacy or just kill those who irritate them. They are casualties, too…just as dead as the addict in an American gutter. And just as much a precious human being as anyone else. But, we gotta let him die, you see? There’s this theory we pretend to have which says it is better for 100,000 people to die than to have even a slight infringement upon a right we just made up yesterday (in this case, a right to not be killed while smuggling poison). And people writing such articles are stealing – they are being paid money extracted from the productive by force or fraud in order to propagandize in favor of the productive suffering ever more.

And as I noted, its all because of a lack of belief in God. If you believe in God, even if you’re otherwise a criminal, you won’t be the sort of beast who steals rations from soldiers, nor live a nice life writing articles defending the rights of drug smugglers. A thief is a thief…these people are demons. And we have to start lumping them all together…the Minnesota welfare cheat, the Venezuelan drug smuggler, the EU-crat getting a rake off…I don’t care how nice they’re dressed or how many people they pay off to write up excuses, we have to see them for the malevolent, dishonest, soul-destroying demons they are. And I think Trump does – and that’s why he wants to end the war and whack the druggies. It puts the demons out of business. Somewhere in there, Trump believes in God – he’s human. Normal. One of us. And for ten years he’s dealt with these people and knows who they are, on a deep and philosophic level. I just hope that Vance has also internalized just what sort of people are opposing us, because this is going to be the work of generations.

The Catastrophe…and Perhaps the Way Back

December 7th doesn’t mean much to the younger generation. Remember: we’re nearly a quarter century after 9/11. If you’re under 30, even that date doesn’t mean much. Back to 1941? Eighty four years ago? It is almost out of living memory. Only a few very old people were even alive when it happened – even fewer have any memory of it. Everything eventually gets ravaged by the artillery of time. But it is still one of the pivotal days of modern times.

People still wax misty about 1914 and Sarajevo and, indeed, there is good reason for that – a whole generation of young people singing their way to massacre in the trenches. But for all the destruction of that war, it was the US entry into World Two which was The Event of the 20th century. The First World War was a quick in and out and though Americans largely supported the effort, they weren’t at all keen at staying involved. Good to keep in mind that it wasn’t the Lusitania sinking or the resumption of German unrestricted submarine warfare which got us enthusiastic about the war, it was the Zimmerman Telegram.

That diplomatic note, intercepted by the British and published by them with exquisite timing set America aflame. We didn’t particularly care about who won that war. We figured that if you sailed on the high seas into a war zone, you took your chances – but the prospect of a German-allied Mexico conquering parts of the American southwest enraged us. And so off to war we went. And when it was Over Over There, we came back home, voted in Harding by an astonishing landslide and pretty much acted like the whole thing never happened.

As late as December 6th, 1941 the solid majority of Americans were opposed to entering the war. Keep in mind that the Holocaust was still not generally known about – and wouldn’t really get rolling until 1942. We didn’t like the Nazis but we felt that it was still Europe’s war. Just like Japan’s war in China was Asia’s war. We were sympathetic to China and Britain, and to those laboring under the conqueror’s boot, but we couldn’t see how it mattered to us.

And with good reason – in a very cold and clear light, it didn’t matter to us. Moated as we were by two oceans, with harmless neighbors north and south, with the second largest fleet in the world after Britain (and easily turned into the largest, as we soon saw), with vast territory and wealth untold to be tapped…why go fight in Europe over the difference between the sides? FDR had been doing everything he could to build up a war fever in the USA – and, additionally, the spreading prosperity due to war contracts was whetting appetites – but it just wasn’t working. We remained stubbornly aloof. We could not be conquered. Not by the whole world in arm against us.

But then came the attack. Of course it outraged us. Of course the recruiting offices were jam packed the next day. Of course we swore we’d beat those Japanese SOBs. But while we did that, we also somehow started to unravel the European colonial Empires while lavishing aid on a Soviet Union hostile to every last American ideal. I mean, seriously: we deliberately set about weakening our allies while strengthening our obvious enemy. Sure, in the process wiping out Germany and Japan but, in the end, those two nations never stood a chance. What stood a chance was a global Left standing over the ruins of European Empires and slowly but surely infecting the United States. And here we are. Eighty four years later. Debating over what “woman” means.

This is why I consider Pearl Harbor to be the disaster – the turning point. The one event I’d really like to go back in time and change. It wasn’t that the war was the problem, it was that it allowed the Left to use American power to win the war, claim it as a Leftist victory and then set about over the past eight decades thoroughly degrading everything that the men and women of 1941 fought for.

We didn’t need an NSA. Didn’t need a CIA. Didn’t need a massive standing military. Didn’t need to allow foreigners to dump their second rate garbage in our markets. Didn’t need foreigners to come here and work. What we need was what we had – a nation of sturdy patriots led by people who knew what the heck to do. We needed, in short, a nation that produced Douglas MacArthur and George Patton…not a nation which wonders if a 5 foot tall woman should be in an infantry company.

This is why I’m so enthusiastic about Trump. The past can never be recovered – we won’t ever go back to 1941. But we can certainly try to recapture what we can. And so Hegseth at War. Rubio at State. And Trump, himself, clearly reading and re-reading McKinley and others who built the nation which won the Second World War. We’re becoming American, again. Unafraid. Hard working. With good will towards the world but no desire be immersed in its (often) very stupid problems. Set against us is the world and that section of the American population which has ceased to be actually American – you know the type without even a description. We’re just strong enough to beat them, and the longer we beat them the more people will come over to our side…until all these weirdos on the Left are nothing but a distant memory.

Time to End This Nonsense

Of course it was a Muslim migrant let in without vetting under Biden who ended up overstaying his visa. That was the intent – the American (and global) Left wanted this to happen. And all over the West. We can see what its doing in Europe…the more people killed by Muslim migrants, the more restrictions are placed on the native European population. There’s a proposal in Britain right now to do away with jury trials for a host of offenses…to allow a single judge to decide. Because that makes it easier for the court to rule against the native Brit in conflicts with the migrants. It works a bit different here in the USA because of our Constitution and the fact that the people are armed…but make no mistake about it, the project remains the same: use migrant violence to intimidate the native population into submission (the migrants get the payoff in the form of massive welfare fraud that the Left allows to happen). If we had a Democrat trifecta right now, the whole thing about be about new laws against “racism” and gun ownership.

How can I say this with such certainty? Simple: Morocco.

Here’s a picture of the capital city, Rabat:

Not bad looking, huh? In fact, pretty darned nice. Like maybe even a place you, personally, would like to visit. Of course you might – it is a well-known tourist destination for Europeans. Not so much for us because it is pretty far away but, still. Also, of course, an overwhelmingly Muslim nation.

So why don’t the Muslim migrants go there? Or to Turkey, Bahrain, UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Tunisia, Indonesia? You know, the Muslim nations in the world which aren’t basket cases? Why?

Because those nations would kill you if you tried to go Islamist. They aren’t stupid. They know what these people are – barbarians heavily influenced by the species of Islam which likes to blow things up. If you’ve got any sense at all you never allow such people into your country…even if you share the same religion and culture. It would be like Americans looking high and low around the world and trying to find Klansmen to import. Why the heck would you do that?

And, guys, don’t get hung up on the Islam thing. I know that some are saying that we need a total ban on Islam in the USA. No. Just no. The fact that Morocco exists shows that Muslims are not inherently flawed. They’re perfectly fine in Morocco and non-Muslims visiting are treated very well, everyone has a good time and on Sunday you can openly go to Mass…and if you’re Jewish, head on over to Temple Beth-el in Casablanca for Shabbat. Not saying things are perfect in Morocco – they ain’t. Of course it is against the law to try to convert Muslims there. Of course it is against the law to agitate against the monarchy. To an American, these are outrageously oppressive laws. But, hey, it ain’t our country. And as a tourist, what do you care? If it really bugs you, don’t visit. The main thing is that Muslims are perfectly capable of maintaining a reasonable, civilized society which the outsider can visit, live in and do business with. So, the problem isn’t Islam, as such. The problem is a certain species of Islam.

And this is pretty easy to identify. That species of Islam runs every sh*t hole in the Muslim world. It is excellent short hand: if the place is a dump, don’t let the residents into your country. Sudan, Somalia, Libya, Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria – definitely not the place to get your immigrants from. Big flashing red light!

We need to deport everyone from the bad areas – I’m not interested any longer in vetting. I want all Somalis, all Sudanese, all Libyans, all Afghans, etc to be deported. And if they’re naturalized anytime in the last twenty five years, I want their documents fully reviewed and an investigation done to determine if they’ve actually lived up to their oath of citizenship…slightest problem, denaturalize and out you go. This is mere self defense. It has nothing to do with race or religion. I can’t trust the population…that fat slob who stabbed our Guardsmen yesterday was escorted into the USA in 2021. He has been lavished with aid from our country…and his response was to shoot our troops. No. Heck with that. Can’t do it. If that is what even one Afghan is like, then its time for us to not have Afghans around us. So, too, with Somalis…we rescue you from starvation and oppression and your response in the USA is to steal welfare funds and call us racists? Get the **** out of my country. If any person of Afghan or Somali background is reading this and getting all angry and outraged…they get off the stick and prove to us that I’m wrong. Show us that you’re loyal to the USA and not some 9th century savagery.

You do this, by the way, by turning in the welfare cheats, the oath breakers and guys muttering in the back of the room about how he wants to murder infidels. You cease being loyal to tribe, you start being loyal to America. You don’t get to sit back, watch it all happen and them make an insincere statement of dismay when someone gets murdered.

And, now, back to our fellow Americans – our fellow Westerners. Our Left, that is, which has poured these people into the USA and the West…ignored their welfare fraud, turned a blind eye to their crimes and now calls us racists for not liking the whole shoot us in the back thing. Oh, no, we haven’t forgotten about you. In fact, we’re more angry with you – honestly, given a choice between deporting a Afghan jihadist and an upper class liberal white woman, I know where 90% of us would come down. The jihadist might be open to reason at some point.

We need to really go after these people – it’s not like you can wander in from Somalia or Syria and instantly know how to work the American system to drain welfare funds. Someone has to show you how…and I have my suspicion about who the instructors are. And it goes from start to finish…from the bringing in to the settling to the setting up a fake home health care company…and each step of the way, I guarantee an American liberal is involved…and American liberals, you now have blood on your hands. You brought these people in so you could rake off from their theft and keep your cities voting Blue, and now it is time for you to pay.

We can’t just let this pass. As I said, this was intentional. The Left wanted all of this. And their recent rhetoric about the Guard being deployed helped stoke the flames of hatred. It is time we stopped pretending the Left isn’t malicious. We won’t treat them like they treat us – that is, we won’t punish them for disagreeing. But all of them are neck deep in crime…and it is time for people to go to jail.

Trump and Mamdani

So Trump and Mamdani had their meet and everyone is a little bit confused by it all. Trump was nice and Mamdani was respectful. On the Left there are already those calling Mamdani a sellout and on the Right there are those calling Trump a sellout. But there was one outraged comment from the Left that – unintentionally – said it all:

“Look at that, he kissed Trump’s a** and now Trump is being nice to him.”

He didn’t, of course, kiss anything – but he was nice and so Trump was nice in return. That’s the whole problem with the American Left: they’ve simply refused to be nice. Because Hillary was really mad she lost and so tried a post-facto coup against Trump, the Left has internalized total hatred of Trump. That is, Hillary’s op is the core principle of the Left these days. But if the Left had just ignored that old hag and dismissed her fury at not being given her turn, then we’d be in a whole different situation.

Trump is, very famously, a deal maker. Had the Left come to Trump, hat in hand, back in 2017 and said, “ok, Don: we want this, what do you want from us in return?”, then Trump would have sat down with them, talked it out over a period of time, and then – a country united – we would have enacted a series of reforms which would have given all sides half a loaf. You know, like its supposed to be in America. They would have, for instance, got something like Medicare for All but in return for that they might have had to surrender completely their opposition to nuclear power…so, here in 2025 we’d have a very expensive and clunky socialized medicine system (bad, but what the Left wants) but we’d be generating so much nuke energy with resultant economic growth that paying for the Left’s socialized medicine would be bearable. On and on like that on issue after issue. Get. Give. Give. Get.

Abolition of property taxes on primary residences in return for an excise tax on luxury homes.

Deportation of every illegal in return for increasing the number of legal immigrants allowed per year.

Annulment of student debt in return for affirmative action (as it were) for center and right voices in college.

Increased funding for public schools in return for universal school choice.

On and on and on like that. Nobody totally satisfied but everyone getting a slice of the pie. The Left totally rejected that. And now comes Mamdani – a foreign born communist. The absolute enemy of all we hold dear. But, OTOH, he was just elected mayor of our largest city and instantly becomes one of the most influential people in the USA. Just keep hating on him? Or bring him in for a chat? Always the first option is to be “chat”. Maybe the man is totally thick and can’t be reached. Fine. Then we’re no worse off than before. But maybe he’ll listen? The man said he loved New York City. It is the first time I’ve ever heard him say anything positive about any aspect of the United States. All it took to draw that out was a chat with Trump.

It is always important to remember that God forbids us to hate other people. We can hate what they do, but we can’t hate them. To do that is a sin. I absolutely loath Mamdani’s program…but I keep away from hating him. And, indeed, I sort of pity him. He’s the product of the modern American Establishment. He got a degree, but no education. He’s never worked in his life. He’s always been surrounded by the most privileged elite in American society where everyone just agrees and it is always a ratchet moving relentlessly further Left. Point blank: the man simply does not know. But as a man, he is capable of learning. Of growth. Of thinking it over. Maybe for the first time in his life. We know the problem with our Left: they never think. They just receive a propaganda point and run with it forever. So far, all Mamdani has ever done is run with the propaganda. He might go his whole life doing that. If he does, then he’ll remain a pest and a threat to the USA. But if he even for a moment starts to think, then he might become a valuable member of our society. Trump was placing a bet he could get that young man to think a bit. Maybe it’ll work. Mamdani – suddenly thinking – would not be the first person of the Left who shifted sides over time.

And if this effort by Trump falls flat on its face? Fine. We gave Mamdani his chance. What will happen after that is already in the script…he’ll staff up with far Left freaks who are also corrupt as the day is long and Trump – followed by Vance – will simply launch one federal investigation after another that will easily find the graft and the whole Mamdani experiment will collapse in a series of lawsuits and federal indictments. But if Mamdani thinks a bit, we might be able to get some useful things done in New York City which starts to break down the upper class Left’s hold on the city. Let’s see what happens.

Keep in mind that a year ago the American people very solidly rejected the Left – but the Narrative being pushed now is that everyone regrets that and yearns for Kamala.

That simply isn’t true. Also keep in mind that at no time in 2024 did Harris’ own pollster show her with a lead – they knew they were cooked from the get-go. To be sure, they might not have told Harris (and her actions on election night indicate they didn’t) but they knew they never had a chance. And if you watch carefully the MSM coverage of Election Night 2024, after a brief burst of optimism early on, by 8 PM Eastern, they all knew it was over. I’ll never forget watching at about 6:30 PM here in the Pacific time zone irritated that they hadn’t called Georgia (they would call it just about half an hour later) when it had been clear since 5:00 that Trump had won it…and my stepson walks past, asking idly what I was watching: “the election.”

“Election? That was over two hours ago.”

I don’t know what particular cyber-nerd-fu he had used, but he told me that the numbers just weren’t there for her and was shocked that everyone hadn’t called it for Trump. So, too, with everyone else in the know. The latest they should have called it for Trump was 11 PM Eastern when California closed. But, they dragged it out until 1 or 2 PM Eastern. Why? Because the Democrats hadn’t given the MSM permission to call it. The Narrative was still be held up, likely to make sure they got all the votes they could downballot. That is how totally owned the MSM is – they could show the raw numbers. They could show that the outstanding votes weren’t there for Harris to catch up…but they couldn’t call it.

So, whatever you see in the MSM is whatever Narrative the Democrats have ordered the MSM to present. It is worse than useless to watch it – because even hate-watching it gives ratings and thus money to them.

Trump rope a doped them again and is now saying he’ll approve releasing the Epstein files. He knows he’s not in them. We know he’s not in them. Those who are saying he’s in them, know he’s not in them. We know by the simple fact that if he was in them, that would have come out years ago. We also note, with great care, that we’re not supposed to question any of the victims…to merely accept their assertions as Gospel. That tells you right there that the victims standing forth are in on a new con – a con designed to make people think that Trump is involved. After all, an NDA does not cover criminal acts…you can talk them up with out violating an NDA. There is nothing, really, to stop any of them from talking…unless they’re being paid not to talk. And I don’t mean by some rich idiot fifteen years ago, I mean today. Something is very dirty in all of this – and Trump has called their bluff.

Apparently at UC San Diego something like 130 students were asked this math question: 7+2 = 6+___. And twenty five percent of them couldn’t answer it.

That is third grade math, tops. Another education thing I saw recently was a professor who’s class was upset because he was using letters for mathematical equations and the kids were furious that he expected them to know there are twenty six letters in the alphabet.

Turns out when Sir Edward Grey said the lights were going out in Europe in 1914 he was dead right – the only real reason I can think we’re here is so many of the very best people in the West were killed in WWI that we were left with nothing but the dregs…who have, step by step, brought the West down to their level. It is worse in Europe – where the dying was must greater – than in the USA, but everywhere in the West the 20th century saw the most intelligent, physically fit and bravest sacrificed…and as time went on, sacrificed by ever stupider people.

Always good to keep in mind that to be educated 125 years ago meant you knew Latin and Greek. That you had a firm grounding in math, history, law, theology, philosophy and geography, no matter what sort of degree you were aiming at. And also good to keep in mind that money didn’t keep you out of college – sure, the rich kids got in because daddy paid, but anyone who had the intellectual chops for college could get in. Sure, it was difficult to pass the exams…sure you probably had to work to earn money in addition to your scholarship…sure, you lived poor and struggled to keep going. But if you had the grit plus brains, you got the degree…and entered into a world of rare and honored achievement. To be an educated man or woman in 1900 placed you in an elite. A class of people who were not only intelligent, but knowledgeable, hard working and disciplined. Since WWI, all of that has been dispensed and getting a degree is really no more than sitting there and waiting to get it. And now the kids can’t add or read.

Democrats are in massive psy-op mode, again. The bottom line is that they want us talking about anything but their support for illegals, criminals and boys in girls sports (positions their insane base will not let them retreat from). This is why they are now bringing up Epstein as if it had anything to do with Trump. They don’t care that every scrap of evidence indicates that Trump never used Epstein’s services and that the two men hated each other – they’ll just lie and say up is down not really with the intent to convince, but just to get us talking about it. Meanwhile, the GOP is on track to flip voter registration in North Carolina red by 2026…and Pennsylvania by 2028. And even our loss in New Jersey this month is masking a distinct trend in favor of the GOP in that State. Oh, and Nevada is a Red State – so Red that both our Democrat Senators voted to end the shutdown.

The real key is to understand that whatever it is the Democrats and MSM (BIRM) are talking about is mere distraction. Don’t get distracted.

Marjorie Green has decided to join a long list of people who decided to go to war against Trump…and she’s destroying herself in the process. Lets face it, we all had questions about her from the start but as long as she was MAGA, ok. But now that she’s going on the View to attack Trump, that pretty much dispenses with her. Whatever she started out to do, she’s chosen the path of TDS grifter. So be it – and so long.

Michelle Obama is a bitter and exceptionally ignorant woman – she’s been gifted wealth unimaginable (and entirely unearned by her) from a nation she despises…and now she’s out on some book tour telling us how horrible we all are. She is the modern Ruling Class writ large…no ability, no accomplishment, massive sense of entitlement combined with disgusting bigotry. The bad news is she and her husband are only in their 60’s and so the USA has decades left of hearing these two creeps whine about America.

Fight, Fight, Fight!

Some people are in a bad way today and it got me thinking of a passage in the upcoming (promise!) Book X of the Mirrors series:

It is never time to be depressed – get out there and, well live. And if that gets us a bullet in our brain, then at least we didn’t crawl.

One of the smartest people I follow in X has pointed out that if we dispense with the filibuster we’ll soon find ourselves in a cold civil war…which may then become hot. And, he’s right. There is a dreadful risk in such a thing but there’s dreadful risk in all action, and even inaction is fraught with danger. We’re rather on the knife edge here.

You see, the Democrats just elected in Virginia a man who has fantasized about killing Republican children. The Democrat leaders did not distance themselves from the man. This indicates two things, both bad:

  1. The Democrat base is horrifically violent and ready to kill.
  2. The Democrat base is incapable of the basic due diligence of being a citizen.

Whether any particular Democrat want us dead or is simply very stupid it all works out the same…because those who want us dead count on the votes of the stupid for power. The whole Democrat edifice is a standing threat to our lives, our fortune and our and sacred honor. We have to start behaving accordingly. And, actually, Trump has – certainly since Butler. The thought you might be killed any moment by these lunatics does concentrate the mind wonderfully. But at the moment most of us don’t feel like we’re in the crosshairs so our minds aren’t as concentrated as Trump’s. But we are in the crosshairs. It is time to concentrate.

If we dispensed with the filibuster we would have at least 14 months in which to enact laws without any hindrance by Democrats. We could do quite a lot which would gut their power. Trump already is, but if you do it legislatively then it is a very deadly blow. And, sure, if the Democrats win a trifecta before the Left is destroyed this will go badly for us…but if the Democrats get a trifecta and we’ve never struck a blow, then that just goes worse for us. Might as well do what we can.

I am reminded that the anti-Communist forces in Russia in 1917 didn’t lift a finger to save the Provisional Government. They all pinned their hopes on this, that or the other thing happening after that government was gone. But the trouble was that once Lenin kicked out the Provisional Government and assumed power he had the ultimate levers of power in his hands. The time to stop Lenin wasn’t after his October coup, but before. Even if that meant a few norms were tossed aside. Nothing that could have happened in getting rid of Lenin was worse than what Lenin was going to be. And, so, like that, nothing we do to hit the Democrats is worse than what they’ll do if we don’t hit them.

So, hit them.

And be happy about it – be a happy warrior. Our goal in life is to have a tenured Harvard professor struggling to make ends meet bagging our groceries. To bring down the Ruling Class. To overturn the system. To have a revolution. They must lose – and lose, in the end, everything. No power. No money. No position. No prestige. Ridiculous, useless relics of a dead past that will never return. We do that, first and foremost, by taking away their access to government money.

Not for nothing did a Democrat Senator float the idea of funding the government merely on Trump’s promise that he won’t fire any more government employees. It is that crucial to them. It can’t be overstated how utterly dependent the Democrats are upon essentially laundering taxpayer money into DNC coffers. How much they depend on their ability to get useless people well paid government sinecures. How if they don’t have access to money, nobody will pay any attention to them. Their whole existence since the 1930’s has been based on passing out government cash. And this is our best chance to take that way – we have the trifecta. If we don’t have to get 60 Senate votes to cut spending…if we only have to get 50 plus Vance, we can gut the Deep State.

And, sure, with a risk that the Democrats – facing total destruction – will provoke a violent civil war. That is always in the cards with them – especially now after they’ve been fed for ten years on the lie that Trump is Hitler and they are the Brave Resistance. These lunatics are already killing based upon lies…won’t take a lot more to get them killing in droves. But it will go better for us, should it come to blows, if we’ve already cut off the funds. If they are on the outside trying to overthrow, rather than on the inside pretending they are defending America.

So, let’s do it. Risks and all! Better to have it out right now rather than desperately trying to undo things after a future far Left Democrat victory at the polls (however engineered). My bet is that the Democrats simply don’t have a lot of people willing to kill for them – that is, not enough to pose an actual threat to a heavily armed MAGA population. That even if they try violence, it will end badly for them and pretty quickly. But we’ve also got the hope that if we just cut off the funds, this all ends…the Left vanishes in a puff of intersectional smoke…and we all look back and wonder how those people ever were in power.
