Some SJW types painted nauseating graffiti all over a GOP office in Illinois. Not at all surprising. This is what the left is building – on purpose and maliciously. They want people at a fever pitch of hate. And they are hoping for confrontations – I’ve seen the comments all over social media, including from “respectable” people on the Left. Trouble is, eventually someone is going to shoot back (we’re already past the “someone is going to get shot” phase, as Congressman Scalise can testify). To be sure, the MSM will try to paint the first bit of return fire as some unique outrage…but no one is really listening to the MSM any longer. I hope it doesn’t come out like that – but if you get in people’s faces enough, you will get a direct reaction.

Meanwhile, Cocaine Mitch says he’ll hold a vote on Kavanaugh this week.

Georgetown University says it is committed to Social Justice. This is what Social Justice is, in practice:

C. Christine Fair, an associate professor at Georgetown in the School of Foreign Service, tweeted Saturday, saying white Republican men should die and an added bonus would be if women “castrate their corpses and feed them to swine.”

The University blew off complaints about this by saying they like free speech…which someone should test by holding a pro-life vigil on campus with the participants wearing MAGA hats.

Professor produces a study showing that, just perhaps, the lack of women in physics is based on something other than sexism…and, of course, promptly gets un-personed and his research consigned to the nearest Memory Hole.

Don Surber: smart guy:

The Marxist Mob’s attack on Judge Brett Kavanaugh is part of a multi-decadal plan to eliminate the Constitution — which Marxists slander as a a slave document.

Yep.

Trump should make this his 2020 theme song:

We are long overdue, in my opinion, for war to take out the tyrants (every left liberal person in the entire country) in America. It was too late for the 12 million Jews in Germany to fight back and take out the Nazis. I’m afraid it’s going to be too late for America if we don’t take action.

I may be overly paranoid in believing that. I may need to trust the people of America more, trust that they will do the right thing when they go to the polls, but it’s extremely difficult for me to do that. There is and has been too much indoctrination. Too much.

I want Trump’s America! As does every normal person! The President was in a press conference outside the oval office today, and he said he’s never drank a drop of alcohol…That really shocked me…But it made me very proud of him, as does everything he does as President. I related with him on this, because I too have never drank a drop of alcohol in my life. Never tipped the bottle. Never even tasted it.

Anyway, if we as Americans were to hash out our differences in a civil war manner…Who is going to lead the fight? Do we have any generals? … I know Robert E. Lee was a general in the first American civil war… And others…Do we have anybody around like that today?

I want to see the future of America as a bright one…But I can’t as long as liberals are around.

    Sorry. 😦

Hang in there Jeremiah …. we got your back. Liberals are no match for what we have to bring.

I am having a good time watching the “establishment foreign policy experts” on MSNBC this morning anguish over the “direction of our foreign policy” ………..the delusion it’s just beyond words. After the “experts” spent the last 50 years demurring to despots and giving away America’s jobs and fortune, Trump is actually bringing us back from the brink and denuclearizing North Korea in the process. You’re welcome.

    Where’s Amazona?

    • jdge1 October 2, 2018 / 11:48 am

“Where’s Amazona?” I wondered about that too.

And Jeremiah, as Cluster suggest, all is not lost or even nearly as bad as some project, though the leftist sure make a lot of noise. I believe the left is showing just how unhinged they are and many middle America type people are noticing, with a strong dislike of what they see. From my observation there are far more people who disliked Trump prior to his becoming President and finding favor with the direction he has taken us, than the other way around. Part of the confirmation comes from the black community who are stopping the question blind support to the Democrats, as the direction of the left is being exposed as totally anti-America.

    • Retired Spook October 2, 2018 / 11:54 am

Not my place to account for Amazona, but I let her know she’s missed. I do know she’s got a lot or irons in the fire right now.

    • Amazona October 4, 2018 / 4:01 pm

Thanks for thinking of me, guys.

Every now and then I have to re-enter my password to get onto the blog and for some reason this time the site would not accept my password and wouldn’t send me a link to establish a new one. But I persisted. And Spook is right—among other things, I finally have not one but two buyers for a property I have been trying to sell for about 15 years, and being tugged between them like a sock between two terriers. Kinda fun, definitely profitable, but stressful.

You guys have probably already covered this, but …

About three weeks ago I posted on another site my conviction that the anti-Kavanaugh thing is not about Roe v Wade, never was, but that abortion is such a guaranteed dog whistle for the Left that it will always bring out the frenzied mobs, the howling and screeching, the costumes ranging from silly to disgusting, and the noise the Left loves. Because no one is going to prance around in a stupid costume or howl in fury into a camera lens screeching outrage at having a Court that understands and is constrained by its Constitutionally decreed role. That’s not going to get the mobs stirred up.

It don’t mean a thing if it ain’t got that swing, and there’s no emotional swing in dry old arguments about dry old 10th Amendment stuff. So the Left dangles the shiny distraction of ABORTION!! to get the energy pumped up, but it’s really just a stalking horse for their real objection. And that is their objection to having a Court that will simply rule on lower court rulings based solely on whether they comply with Constitutional law and restrictions on powers.

The Left doesn’t just OBJECT to this, they FEAR it, down to their very bones. This is the first major threat to the Left’s incremental creep into power in this country, and it terrifies them. It would be bad enough if it were happening under a failed or failing president, but it is happening under a successful and increasingly popular president, and much if not most of his success and popularity are due to his other incursions into Leftist power centers, such as the evolution of government agencies as a de facto fourth branch of government.

Trump is distracting the Left with his jabs at its figureheads, such as the Complicit Agenda Media, but his real threats to them are his body blows, his dismantling of its illicit power bases: the ability to have agencies make laws without the participation or oversight of Congress and the ability to bypass legislation altogether by a Leftist Supreme Court making law from the bench. The Left is fighting for its life, which is why it is playing this no-holds-barred savage strategy against Kavanaugh.

They are kind of like the Americans in Benghazi, hoping against hope that somehow something will happen before it is too late. Now they know how it felt, and I hope they suffer the same fate.

Proof again that the left destroys everything they touch:

Fabio Trabocchi (left), who is the owner and head chef of Fiola (top right), in Washington DC, emailed customers to reassure them after Ted Cruz was confronted while eating dinner with wife Heidi a week ago (bottom right). He also dismissed ‘crazy’ rumors that his staff tipped off protesters to the Senator’s whereabouts. Mr Trabocchi said the rumor has been responsible for a vicious backlash that has forced him to hire security and shut down social media after he and his staff received death threats and threats to destroy the restaurant. He also urged customers to come back and show their support for staff ‘at a time when they really need it’.

    • Retired Spook October 2, 2018 / 9:32 am

Ya gotta break a few eggs to make an omelet. Just sayin’.

To Jeremiah — just continue to keep your powder dry, my friend. Things are getting better, which is why the Left is becoming so unhinged. What’s good for America is bad for them.

‘Gang Rape’ Accuser: Actually, I Don’t Know What Kavanaugh Did — and I Don’t Have Proof Anyway

Shouldn’t we be talking now about the disbarment of Michael Avenatti?

  5. Jeremiah October 2, 2018 / 8:29 pm

Thanks guys. It’s good to know that we have good people to share words of encouragement.

Unlike a lot of folks I’m not a very optimistic person. When others are seeing beautiful sunshine and blue skies, I’m seeing dark storm clouds, wind, hail, and tornadoes. Especially when I see words like the one Mark had shared from the professor at Georgetown university. When I see how the left has treated judge Kavsnaugh and his family. In the 1800s such blasphemous slander would have landed these people at the end of a rope.

I harken back to the days when Abraham Lincoln was President, when something so simple as denying the one and only God brought about a good old fashioned hanging.

Look at us today, the very men who forged this country, who formed the first congress, there are now people sitting in those seats who live and breathe death to America.

Yes, Cluster, Retired Spook, and JDGE, I agree that a lot of good is happening in the world as a result of President Trump’s firm stand on trade, jobs, and political talks with other countries. President Trump reminds me of Ronald Reagan, he didn’t back down when things got tough, and President is not going to back down either. Too much is at stake to back down. Too much is at stake to give this country over to a bunch crackpot, tin-foil hat, wannabe dictator leftist lunatics.

I just ask one thing, let’s all pray that somehow we can get our public schools back.

    • jdge1 October 2, 2018 / 10:50 pm

Please don’t mistake our words to suggest things are roses and sunshine. All of us have talked about the descent of America into the possibility of a civil war, one that we hope never comes, at least not in the sense of having to take up arms. Yet, if it should, we WILL rally against her enemies. Prayer is certainly a powerful tool and should always be part of our daily lives. Sometime the answer to prayer if to fight and sometimes it’s to step back to allow God to work his plan and trust that he will triumph. With Trump in the Whitehouse our spirits have certainly been lifted. Each day we see progress in ways that only a few years ago there was little hope we’d ever see. Trump is certainly not a saint. He has flaws, just like the rest of us. Yet, God has a special way to use people’s strength to overcome their weakness. The battle lines are being drawn. Now it becomes a question of whether the battle will be a war of blood or if it takes a different course. Either way, there are many good men and women ready and willing to take the stand if called on, just as they did back in the day of Lincoln.

      • Jeremiah October 3, 2018 / 8:41 pm

        A couple things…

No, I’m not insinuating that anyone here “is suggesting that everything is sunshine and roses. I know, and have read enough here long enough to know that the good folks here can see and understand the decline that Erica is experiencing. So in this we are in agreement.

Secondly, yes, I agree that President Trump is not a saint by any measure. Scripture states in the book of Romans that “All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” … That includes Adam to the very last person born on this earth.

So, yes, the President falls short just as all of humanity has, but I do know that he has certainly been an encouragement to those of faith. And brought hope for protection of our freedoms, and for life to the unborn, and a better future for millions of people.

      • Amazona October 4, 2018 / 4:04 pm

God has a special way to use people’s strength to overcome their weakness.

Another way to look at it is two sides of the same coin. I see one of Trump’s weaknesses as his arrogance, but on the other side of the coin that is what lets him thumb his nose at his attackers and lets their insults roll right off him.

  6. Cluster October 3, 2018 / 7:17 am

Well it appears the FBI hasn’t come up with anything in the “credible” Dr. Ford investigation because the media narrative this morning is the “ill gotten” wealth of Donald Trump. He has avoided taxes and his Father passed off most of his wealth so he is not a self made man.

Eddie Glaude’s statement – “he wasn’t just born with a silver spoon in his mouth, but a platinum spoon”

They are running out of things to club him with.

  7. Cluster October 3, 2018 / 7:31 am

    THIS IS TOO FUNNY:

During an interview with Vermont Senator Patrick Leahy on Tuesday, MSNBC anchor Andrea Mitchell fretted that the seventh FBI background check into Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh was too restricted. Her hyperventilating over the issue got to a point where she suggested that the Bureau should actually investigate Kavanaugh for being “rude” to Democrats.

    They’ve completely lost their minds

  8. Cluster October 3, 2018 / 7:42 am

The liberal panelists on MSNBC are worried about our culture. Let that one sink in.

    • Retired Spook October 3, 2018 / 8:27 am

Yeah, I mentioned the other day that someone on the Left was lamenting the incivility and indecency in our culture. If there was ever any doubt that the Left thinks they’re morally superior, that pretty well confirms it.

    • Cluster October 3, 2018 / 10:15 am

      I am shocked !!!!

    • M. Noonan October 3, 2018 / 4:05 pm

I originally thought that she might have had an unpleasant interaction with Kavanaugh. I later became of the opinion that she might have had an unpleasant interaction with a third party and was merely mistaking that person for Kavanaugh. Now, I’m fairly convinced she made it up out of whole cloth as part of a Democrat smear plan.

  9. Retired Spook October 3, 2018 / 12:52 pm

Democrats are acting outraged at being caught acting outrageously. Karma’s a bitch! I’m gonna go on record as saying that their vile, disgusting behavior and rhetoric is going to backfire on them on November 6th.

  10. Jeremiah October 3, 2018 / 8:31 pm

Mark, you done went and got that stuck in my head. Lol 😂

    • Jeremiah October 3, 2018 / 8:31 pm

      That song

  11. Amazona October 4, 2018 / 5:27 pm

This may have been commented on somewhere, but I haven’t seen it:

Does anyone else think it bizarre that a Supreme Court nominee with a detailed, documented history going back to his high school years is having more attention paid to him and his past and his credentials than anyone paid to a potential President of the United States?

Barack Obama was elected, twice, without a high school record, without a year book, without a transcript or record from any of his three colleges, and without any testimony from or even identification of people he knew in those colleges. We know he smoked a lot of pot in high school, to the point of that being an identifier for him (“The Choom Gang”) but that is where it ends. No old girl friends, no guys he hung out with….nothing. We don’t know if he ever had a passport from another country, used when he and an unidentified friend spent a lot of time in Pakistan.

He sprang, fully formed, into life in Chicago as a community organizer agitator, for a short time in which no one can identify anything he did, then was launched into politics by a former member of the FBI’s 10 Most Wanted and an admitted domestic terrorist (“guilty as hell and free as a bird”) and his wife, the woman who celebrated the stabbing of Sharon Tate’s unborn child when she was butchered, and no one ever got any kind of background on him, any kind of investigation launched. Any kind of question at all was deflected and used to base an accusation of racism, to avoid further examination.

We couldn’t ask him directly about why he had a surrogate claim a Certificate of Live Birth from Hawaii was really a birth certificate, or who had applied for it, or when. We couldn’t ask him who supplied the “biographical” information to his publisher saying he had been born in Kenya, or why he never corrected it until it was brought up more after having it describe him, as an author, for more than a decade. We never got to ask him any of these questions. But we had to watch Brett Kavanaugh be grilled on the meaning of high school slang seen in his year book, regarding the
confirmation of a man who will only be one of a Court of 9, with a job strictly restricted to ruling on the Constitutionality, or lack of same, of lower court rulings, is subjected to the most in-depth, grueling, and savage grilling and investigation this country has ever seen about anyone in public office.

    • Cluster October 5, 2018 / 7:29 am

Amazona, are you saying that there’s a double standard for Republicans? Re: Kavanaugh, I always liked Whoopi Goldberg’s defense of Roman Polanski a few years back when she claimed that his egregious actions weren’t really “rape rape – you know.”

      Good to have you back

  12. Cluster October 5, 2018 / 8:17 am

Re: Kavanuagh’s “temperment” for the Court which is the latest media narrative considering their manufactured rape accusations fell apart, if only there was a judicial record over the last 20 years of Kavanaugh that everyone could review and consider ………. oh wait.

This does bring up another question though – what is the proper way to act when falsely accused of “drugging and gang raping women”? All men should know the answer to this because the militant MeToo movement is just getting started, led by the morally superior Alysa Milano

    • Retired Spook October 5, 2018 / 10:18 am

I think the Left is about to pay a steep price for their recent actions and rhetoric come November 6th. There are only two ways to marginalize them, vote them so far out of power that they become the joke they really are in the eyes of the majority of Americans or shoot them. We’ll see whether the first method is viable in 32 days.

      • Cluster October 5, 2018 / 10:53 am

I kind of like the latter recipe ….. hahahaha

      • Retired Spook October 5, 2018 / 11:01 am

Yeah, declaring open season on Progressives does sound invigorating, but to quote one of Obama’s favorite phrases, “that’s not who we are.” OTOH, should they fire the first shot, which is all but a given, then all bets are off. Rush is talking about the thousands of death threats Republican senators are receiving if the vote to confirm Kavanaugh. Just based on the sheer number someone is eventually going to make good on one of those threats or at least attempt to, and then all hell is going to break loose.
