Listening to Democrats, I can only assume that they are really going to impeach the President. They can’t possibly believe they have 67 votes in the Senate to convict…but the way Democrats talk, it seems clear to me that they believe a majority wants Trump impeached. We’ll see how it comes out – but I suspect that Trump will come out the winner in that fight.

Meanwhile, the RNC is still blowing the doors off the DNC in fundraising – and most remarkably in the “small donor” segment. I keep hearing that everyone hates Trump, but I’ve yet to see that translate into practical reality.

We here in Nevada handed the State over to the Democrats in 2018 and, true to their paymasters in California, Nevada Democrats have passed national popular vote legislation, thus impounding our electoral votes to Democrat ballot-box stuffers in Los Angeles and San Francisco. This happens because Nevada Democrats – like all State-level Democrats – don’t give a damn about their States, but only dictatorial, national power.

Ace has an article about how frightening China’s “social credit” system is becoming, and points out that this is be beta test for its use in the United States. Don’t doubt Ace on that – the left very much wants such a system in order to punish anyone who does’t behave correctly: ie, behave in a manner approved of by the most recent and kook-left part of the global elite. Remember, while jail/torture/execution is a large tool in the tyrant’s tool kit, the Soviets learned long ago that the real way to control people is to make it impossible for them to simply live unless they are approved by the government. Give the liberals power long enough, and you won’t even be able to ride a bus without their permission.

Don Surber points out that vis a vis Iran, all Trump was ever doing was saber rattling to get Iran to back down a bit. We’ll see how it ultimately comes out, but I’ve always doubted that Trump would instigate a war. He’s a businessman who has the businessman’s natural abhorrence of war: it’s bad for business (unless you’re a defense contractor, which Trump isn’t). Trump is actually turning out to be quite effective in foreign policy – mostly because he eschews globalist theories. Iran – or another enemy – could do an overt act which makes war a reality, but in such a case it wouldn’t be Trump leading us to war, but taking charge of a war someone else started.

RSM looks at Alabama’s attitude towards abortion: bottom line, not a lot of Alabama women have abortions. Vastly smaller proportion than in, say, New York City. And that is the crux of the matter: there are several States, like Alabama, which simply don’t want abortion. It is all tied to culture and religion, of course: but in a pluralist Republic, we should be able to accommodate divergence. But liberals won’t allow that – they’re sitting there in their tiny, urban apartments feeding the cat and furious that some woman out there has such a satisfying sex life with her husband that she’s had three kids. They want to put a stop to that.

(Note: The Obama administration, you may recall, was caught spying on the Israeli government in December 2015.)

I think we are learning that the Obama admin. spied on everyone; the media, conservative groups, foreign nations, and then ultimately a domestic POTUS campaign … it’s who they are. And remember Obama sent over political aides to assist Bibi’s opponent, which is direct interference into a foreign countries election. I guess it’s ok when we do it.

And I liked what Amazona said the other day that we need to keep in mind, this isn’t just Obama and his band of travelers, it’s who the Left is and how they operate. The people are interchangeable.

      The people are interchangeable.

It’s the system that is malignant. We can’t let them just shrug this off when so much has come out they can’t deny it, with a dismissive “So some people cheated to try to win an election—happens all the time, no big deal, move on…” Because it IS a big deal. It’s like playing poker for extremely high, such as life-and-death, stakes and suddenly being able to see your opponent’s hand.

We are now looking over their shoulders at their hand, seeing what they hold and how they will play it when they get a chance. And how they will play it is to use the power of the State to control the people.

This is not just a few people getting caught doing what they shouldn’t. It is an example of how a Leftist government works. It spies on its people, it uses the power of the government to control and even destroy people for the “crime” of Wrongthink. It doesn’t just say “Here’s our political philosophy—-take a look at it and see if you like it” but instead says “THIS IS THE WAY IT WILL BE. YOU WILL SUBMIT OR YOU WILL PAY.” It is oppressive, it is dictatorial and it will tolerate no deviation.

The divisiveness created and fostered by the American Left exists only to keep Americans from becoming a unified force. As long as the Left can keep races suspicious of each other and even hating each other, as long as it can not just keep men and women in different camps but create innumerable sub-camps of sub-genders and keep them emotionally stirred up in a constant state of agitation, as long as they can successfully recast abortion as not just a belief that every person has a right to live but as an oppression of and victimization of women, they can create and maintain enough turmoil and conflict in the populace to keep us from standing together as Americans and rejecting their toxic political structure.

This is what I love about him:

The best thing President Trump has going for him, aside from the economy, is his willingness to fight, to “go to the mattresses.” Republicans usually cower when attacked, then apologize or capitulate. Not Trump. Every time they’ve taken a swing at him he’s bloodied their noses.

The taste of their own political blood is one they are not used to, nor capable of accepting. As more information about how this entire hoax got started gets dragged into the sunlight, the desperation will only grow. It’s about to get ugly. See you at the monkey bars at 3:00.

    Good article:

I am telling you folks …. they are out there.

The strange objects, one of them like a spinning top moving against the wind, appeared almost daily from the summer of 2014 to March 2015, high in the skies over the East Coast. Navy pilots reported to their superiors that the objects had no visible engine or infrared exhaust plumes, but that they could reach 30,000 feet and hypersonic speeds.

“These things would be out there all day,” said Lt. Ryan Graves, an F/A-18 Super Hornet pilot who has been with the Navy for 10 years, and who reported his sightings to the Pentagon and Congress. “Keeping an aircraft in the air requires a significant amount of energy. With the speeds we observed, 12 hours in the air is 11 hours longer than we’d expect.”

In late 2014, a Super Hornet pilot had a near collision with one of the objects, and an official mishap report was filed. Some of the incidents were videotaped, including one taken by a plane’s camera in early 2015 that shows an object zooming over the ocean waves as pilots question what they are watching.

“Wow, what is that, man?” one exclaims. “Look at it fly!”

Of course they are out there. Astronauts reported being shadowed by flying objects keeping pace with their spacecraft or flying around them. Most reported sightings are from professional pilots, many of them highly trained military pilots.

Quote of the Day (seems appropriate for Memorial Day)

“We’re not going to just shoot the sons-of-bitches, we’re going to rip out their living Goddamned guts and use them to grease the treads of our tanks. We’re going to murder those lousy Hun co**suckers by the bushel-fu**ing-basket. War is a bloody, killing business. You’ve got to spill their blood, or they will spill yours. Rip them up the belly. Shoot them in the guts. When shells are hitting all around you and you wipe the dirt off your face and realize that instead of dirt it’s the blood and guts of what once was your best friend beside you, you’ll know what to do!” General George Patton

LOL … Killing Patton was a fantastic read

    • Amazona May 28, 2019 / 10:09 am

I recently finished “The Generals” about Patton, McArthur and Marshall, and I came to appreciate Patton a lot more than I had.

This should give everyone a really good laugh this morning. From the leftist publication Vox:

CARLOS MAZA: In an ideal world, political journalism looks like this. On either side, you’ve got the parties fighting for the attention of the press. and in the middle you’ve got journalists, sorting out what’s important and what’s just partisan bull—t. This is called gatekeeping, and it’s one of the most important things journalists do. Political operatives can spin whatever talking points they want, but ultimately it’s journalists who decide what we pay attention to.

That is in an ideal world, and we don’t live in an ideal world. We live in Hell, and in Hell, there’s Fox News.

It is so funny to watch Leftists inadvertently reveal what they believe and what they fear the most. Here Carlos Maza reveals that the Left sees the role of “journalists” as those in charge of “deciding what we pay attention to”. Not, you note, what is true, just what the Left wants us to pay attention to, and journalists’ jobs are to keep us paying attention to THAT and not to facts or truth. That is their ideal world, as he says, and that is why Fox News is such a threat, so feared and so hated.

Even the current Fox, diluted and muddled, poses a threat to the goals and aspirations of the Left by refusing to simply be their signpost, pointing people to what the Left wants them to believe.

It is also funny to see that in a media world dominated by the Complicit Agenda Media, taking its orders from the Left and dutifully executing them, that world is still defined as Hell if it includes the voice of Fox News, the lone rogue voice that, even as semi-muted as it is, still scares them because any access to truth is always going to be a threat to the Left.

You may not remember but Mika Brezinski said exactly this same thing not long ago:

SCARBOROUGH: “Exactly. That is exactly what I hear. What Yamiche said is what I hear from all the Trump supporters that I talk to who were Trump voters and are still Trump supporters. They go, ‘Yeah you guys are going crazy. He’s doing — what are you so surprised about? He is doing exactly what he said he is going to do.'”

BRZEZINSKI: “Well, I think that the dangerous, you know, edges here are that he is trying to undermine the media and trying to make up his own facts. And it could be that while unemployment and the economy worsens, he could have undermined the messaging so much that he can actually control exactly what people think. And that, that is our job.”

According to the left – “courage” is when you give away your country:

CNN’s Christiane Amanpour praised Angela Merkel on Tuesday, cheering the “courageous, compassionate immigration policy” that has let over one million Muslims into the country. Conversely, she worried about the “dark old demons” returning in Europe.
