Polls are meh, but there is a poll which says that Trump’s approval among Hispanics is at 37% and African-Americans at 26%. If so, the Democrats are doomed. But, once again, it is a poll. On the other hand, I’ve seen various news stories indicating that Team Trump is rolling out a very sophisticated voter outreach program…not just designed to do the usual stuff, but do things like bring people into voting who haven’t voted before or not very often. If they can really pull off something like that, then the 2020 results might be the shocker of all shocks…and other than a few bits and pieces fed to MSMers (some of which will be deliberate misdirection), most people won’t see it until it happens.
Beto decided to hand the GOP a gift in the form of admitting that liberals like him are after gun confiscation. Beto knows he won’t be the nominee – and he also knows that he has no real future in Texas politics. So, he’s just setting fire to things because it will generate attention and money and allow him to live well. But the bottom line is that a Democrat President for candidate has called for confiscation…and you can rely on it that none of the others will really dissent from that view. They can’t: they’ve told their mostly-mindless base that guns are bad and for a Progressive, all bad things must be utterly destroyed. Just that one assertion might get Trump two or three million more votes in 2020.
Democrats want to impeach Trump – because they’ve been told that Orange Man Bad and, once again, all bad things must be destroyed. However, the Democrat leaders know that doing such a thing absent a half dozen GOP Senators willing to vote with them is political suicide…and that wouldn’t happen unless Trump’s approval among GOP voters drops below, say, 75% (latest poll shows him at about 94% approval among GOP voters). So, they are trying to have it both ways – telling their base that they are super serial gonna get that guy Trump, but behind the scenes not actually doing anything. Well, Trump’s DOJ is calling them out on it – essentially telling them to sh** or get off the pot; which boxes the Democrats in nicely. They’ll eventually either have to drop it or drive forward…either way it would be a political disaster for them.
Abortion “doctor” kept body parts of his victims…you know, like serial killers do. This is not at all surprising – no decent doctor would perform an elective abortion. Only the dregs of the medical field would go into that as a primary means of making money…and the dregs tend to be low caliber people. Like this house of horrors abortionist.
China has some food problems:

Imagine a US shortage of wheat and chicken, with no real access to corn or beef, and a couple dozen urban areas of 20 millions or more with just a third arable land as now. That’s China.
So, what’s the problem with China’s agricultural industry? Basically, they simply do not have enough land to grow the volume of soy they need; and, their pork production is highly diffused and is ravaged by a massive and seemingly uncontrollable swine flu epidemic. In fact, it is estimated that up to 60% of China’s pigs are infected with the flu.
To compound a bad situation to worse, Chinese officials are both incapable of enforcing a quarantine and too corrupt to stop the spread of the flu.
China is a giant on spindly legs. We have far more leverage over them than we suspect – and we’ve never used it, until just recently. We’ll see how Trump does.
Blogs For Victory 
One thing that I’ve been thinking about, is this whole Left pushing for violence thing. In my honest opinion, I don’t think the left is getting violent with Conservatives to push Conservatives to get violent, the left is violence in an attempt to see how far they can go with it. You know, first they start out with non life-threatening injuries, like real bad cuts that cause considerable pain and bleeding, but not life-threatening…and they see that Conservatives are not going to fight back, so they regroup to see if they can take it up a notch, so they start breaking Trump supporters bones, to give them a permanent disability, so they regroup and say, “well, this working out pretty good. Let’s take it up some more.” So they kill someone.
That, hypothetically is the final and desired outcome for the left. They reach their desired outcome by there being no resistance from the right. Kind of like a Nazi soldier when he saw an emaciated worker pick up a potato because he was hungry, and the soldier walks over and shoots him in the head, just because he didn’t want the poor man to have a potato to eat.
The left wants that kind of control. This they are pushing to see how much control they can get.
Sure, if Conservatives fought back, we would be castigated for being the “violent” ones. But we need to not be worried about doing the right thing, for fighting back when violence is used against us.
If it ever gets so bad that liberals do start killing conservatives my prayer is that we rain hellfire on hem.
Labels should not matter the slightest in the grand scheme of things. When we fail to act, when violence is against us, and we are afraid because we will be labeled “violent” there is something very wrong. Our Founding Fathers were not born of such cowardice.

Funny you should say that Spook because I was just on the phone with a friend and said the exact same thing. If even 20 years ago, someone told me that Democrats would be doing all of this, I would have said that they had lost their mind.

Legislation would dictate of course but yes, all weapons in my opinion must have grace periods with which they could be retrofit or destroyed.

“All weapons” … can you be more specific? Lots of things can be used as weapons. And why would someone who has never run a fowl of the law be compelled to comply with your edict? Is it because you have decided this? Or do you honestly think that unarming people who have never committed a crime will save lives?
On paper smart guns sounds like a great idea. In reality, not so much. The logistics of either retrofitting or destroying the 300-400 million firearms currently legally owned would be a nightmare. I have no idea how many guns are in the hands of criminals, but the compliance rate for retrofitting or destroying those guns would be zero.

I’m imagining a hero with a concealed carry permit rushing to a school where bloody kids are running out the doors, only to find his gun “safed” and a guy with a bloody baseball bat, or knife, coming at him.
How many “protected areas” would there/could there be? If there was ever a category guaranteed to expand almost daily, it would “protected areas”.

And it all comes back to the fact that a gun is a tool, and its use depends on the person using it. Instead of coming up with high-tech cartoon ideas, come up with a way to change our corrupted society back to one that does not state, argue and legislate that human life is of no inherent importance but depends on how much it gets in the way of someone else. Work on getting it across to kids that no, they do NOT have a right to go through life without ever being frustrated or challenged, and that striking out is not an acceptable way to deal with frustration or resentment.
I caught a few seconds of some hysteric on the radio today, fretting that children these days live under so much stress it is damaging their health, physical and mental, which seemed to be connected to a prior discussion about guns. Well, what about the many generations of kids who grew up surrounded by guns, who had guns openly displayed on the walls of their homes, who took guns to school so they could go hunting afterward and walked through school parking lots with guns in many of the cars and trucks there? They seemed to handle it just fine, and none of them went bonkers and engaged in mass murder. They certainly were not quivering masses of fear and trepidation, terrified of the very idea of guns.
So what’s the difference? Aside from today’s culture rot that has resulted in fatherless boys with no direction of how to be men and no discipline to speak of as they were growing up, aside from the psychotropic effects of the drugs administered to boys because there are no men in their lives to guide them and teach them how to handle their angers and fears and frustrations, aside from the culture that demeans the very concept of life having an intrinsic value independent of someone else’s convenience, they also didn’t have incessant nattering from adults around them about how terrifying guns are.
They would have had a scornful response to a story about an adult woman freaking out at the sight of an armed policeman in a restaurant and demanding that a manager escort her to her car so the cop would not shoot her. They didn’t have teachers telling them to report guns in their homes, as having a gun in a home means they are in danger.
But yeah, let’s make little robot thingies that can somehow make a gun nonfunctional when it gets “too close” to a “protected area”. Or to a hysterical freaking out lunatic. Or to a Democrat. That makes all kinds of sense.

Who is telling kids that genders don’t matter? Who is telling kids that their government targets and cages children from other countries?
In other words, who exactly is sowing discord in this country?
It’s child abuse. If a parent or other adult were to tell a child, day in and day out, that the world is full of monsters, that they will come and get him, that something is going to happen that will mean his parents will die and he won’t have any food, etc. that adult would rightly be called a child abuser.

Contrasting “the joy of freedom, of America, with the angry intolerance of the Left” will move the “moderates”, those squishies who feel caught between two movements they don’t understand, to see one of the differences between the them. But we have to BE different.

I don’t know too much about it yet but evidently Trump wanted Ukraine to look into Hunter Biden’s financial activities in the Ukraine and purportedly held back $250 million in military aid to get them to do that. The President DOES NOT come under the auspices of the Intelligence community Inspector General. The intelligence community works for the President, not the other way around.

For most of my adult life I always thought of Democrats as Lucy with the football and Republicans, especially Republican presidents, with the exception of Reagan, as Charlie Brown. It’s refreshing to see that reversed for a change.
