Democrats are mighty upset that Ilhan Omar’s DC home got raided today. Couple things:

  1. You Democrats set the precedent when you sent agents to rummage through Melania’s underwear.
  2. All we’re doing is looking into a Settler-Colonizer on Indigenous Peoples Day, so chill.

It really is an outrage that we allow that woman to serve in the Congress of the people of the United States of America. I don’t care what her paperwork says, she isn’t American. She’s a foreign invader, and a massive ingrate. Reminder: we saved her life. We saved the lives of untold numbers of Somalis. And how did they pay us back? By shooting at us in Somalia and setting up Learing Centers to steal money from America’s poor people. In general, I want every Somali in the United States deported – any we allow to stay better be able to prove their more patriotic than George Washington. We must not permit people like Omar to remain here – stealing our money, calling us racists and telling lies about America. They can do whatever they want back home – in Somalia.

A retired Royal Marine has caused some controversy by saying the way to handle the migration crisis in the UK is to machine gun migrant boats. All I can say regarding Major-General Julian Thompson’s plan is that you’d only have to do it once. Twice, tops. The message would be widely distributed in an exceptionally rapid manner and you’d simply have no boats to shoot at in short order. Naturally, the Tories are joining in with Labour to condemn the patriot’s comment. This is why the Tories are finished in British politics except explicitly as Labour’s poodle. All British patriots are now forced to vote Reform or, even better, Restore Britain.

Given that it looks as if every woman coming in is raped in transit and that a large number of people die along the way and, additionally, the number of British people who end up raped and murdered by the migrants, machine gunning a couple boats will cost far fewer lives and cause much less suffering that not machine gunning them. The thing about crude but effective plans is that they are, well, effective.

It is, of course, Columbus Day. I always like to bring this up: 50 feet.

That is how long the Nina was. This is about from my front door to about 4 feet out my back door. Her beam (width) was about 16 feet. About as wide as my living room. Twenty six men lived in that space for weeks traveling thousands of miles in the open ocean with no hope of rescue if disaster struck.

That takes guts. That makes all complaints about Columbus trivial. He and his crew were incredibly brave men who did something that had to be done – explore the world. No: there aren’t places humans aren’t supposed to go. There aren’t places where if someone else got there first, nobody can even visit. The New World wasn’t off limits.

Furthermore, the highest civilizations of the New World were horrific, anti-human empires that needed to be destroyed (and were destroyed with the eager help of oppressed Natives). Who knows what depths of depravity they would have plumbed had they been left undisturbed? As for the deaths from disease: eventually the Eurasian/African disease environment was going to arrive at the shores of the Americas. And disease killed vastly more (orders of magnitude more) than direct or indirect actions of the Europeans. The social devastation was going to happen at some point – there was no stopping it. Had it not started in 1492 then it would have started in 1517 or 1609 or something…there would be a ship load of Europeans, Africans or Asians who arrived…and, whammo, the diseases would be there. The only way to prevent the rapid population loss was to hold off until after the disease theory was known…but that theory would probably never have been known except for people working in the Americas with the results of the diseases brought in from outside.

And even with that, the Natives now live better than their ancestors could have ever dreamed – even the most impoverished Natives in the Americas in 2026 have access to knowledge which their ancestors in isolation could never have achieved. The best thing to ever happen to the Native population of the Americas was the arrival of Europeans.

So, say a prayer for Columbus and his crews – they did a great service for all humanity on this day, 1492.
