Zelinskyy has made his choice – and he wants his Democrat friends back in office. Things are going very well in the USA with the only jarring note being persistently high gas and diesel prices. Those prices kept artificially high by refinery shutdowns in the USA, Europeans buying a lot on the world market…and Ukrainian attacks on Russian diesel production. It is the high gas prices which allow Democrats to pretend they are upset about high prices (Democrat policies would deliberately propel us towards permanent $10 a gallon gasoline). In service of his Democrat friends – who will turn on the money supply with no questions asked given how much money Democrats were helping themselves to – Zelinskyy has decided to hit even harder a diesel production, even after Trump asked him not to.
Fine. That’s the way he wants it, that’s the way he gets it. Trump is now squeezing money flowing to Ukraine and, in apparent cooperation with Musk, restricting Ukrainian ability to target the Russians.
Putin is a fairly despicable person and, like almost all Russian nationalists from past to present, has zero understanding of Russia’s strategic needs. For probably half what he’s spent fighting Ukraine he could have freed up the Russian economy (still wearing a lot of Soviet-era shackles) and rebuilt hope in the Russian people to the point they wouldn’t be dying out. 1.1 and 1.4 are the crucial numbers here – that is Ukraine and Russia’s respective total fertility rate. Ukraine and Russia are currently fighting over which people will die out in the Donbas by 2100. Ukraine could have given up the Donbas as a lost cause (the front has not moved more than a mile or two in either direction for a couple years now) and similarly rebuilt their economy to give the people some hope and thus some prospect of actually having kids, which is the only thing that truly matters for both countries.
But, they keep fighting. Putin locked into that Muscovite attitude that more land means a better country. Zelinskyy knowing that as soon as the war ends, he’s out of office and at the mercy of a lot of people he’s pissed off for years. As I’ve said from the beginning, I don’t care who governs the Donbas. It is not remotely a strategic interest of the United States. And as for defending Europe and Freedom – Russia can’t move their army from Rostov to Kiev so they’re not going to Warsaw, Berlin or Paris any time soon…and as Europeans can get arrested for simply saying they don’t want Third World savages for neighbors, not seeing much for America to defend there. Truly, screw all of them. But we do need our diesel…and anything else we might need and I’m prepared to whack anyone who gets in the way of us getting on.
Trump is now in complete campaign mode and is doing rallies all over the place. This is a man who simply does not quit – and we’d better not quit on him. He’s not doing this for himself – he’s got all he’s ever wanted. He’s rich. He’s famous. He’s got a great family. A wife who clearly loves him (third time the charm, I guess). He’s President and proved that 2020 was stolen from him. He’s implementing policies that are making America great again day by day. But it is all for us – and if we falter, then it will be all for nought. Those idiots out there saying Trump isn’t doing enough or not doing it fast enough or not in the preferred sequence are either complete morons or paid operatives. There is a gigantic psy-op going on – lead by polls but seconded by endless social media voices…but they all say the same thing: lose. Quit. Surrender. I don’t think it’ll work – but we’ll find out in just a few weeks if it does.
The Netflix version of Narnia is already on the rocks – test screenings are turning out very badly and they are already having to reshoot scenes because audience reaction is so bad. Pro tip: don’t mess with someone else’s story. This has been billed as a reimagining of Lewis’ story. You can’t do that. Not successfully. It is Lewis’ story. He wrote it to tell a certain tale. Maybe you don’t like it. Maybe you think you can take the basic idea and make it better. Fine. Proceed. But don’t take his story and change it into something it isn’t…it looks like an insult. I’m no great author – but I like the Mirrors series. Maybe its bad. Heck, maybe its the worst literature ever written. Doesn’t matter. It is my story. I wrote it to say certain things. Anyone trying to take my story and make it say something else is only insulting me…and anyone who does actually like my story. Write you own, dang it.
Jack Smith’s fascist investigation of Trump went to far as to look into who was buying MAGA hats. This is what is coming for us if we lose.
Don’t lose.
Unfortunately, I believe the conflict in Ukraine stems from little man disease. Both Putin and Zelenskyy stand about 5’9” and both of them think they’re tough. They are small in stature but extreme narcissists, and neither one of them will back down. They both will prefer to kill their own citizens to protect their egos. Neither one of them is a good man.
I was interested in seeing the move Digger when it was first advertised, not knowing what it was about but thinking it could be good considering the star power. Well, it turns out the plot is a typical Hollywood lecture on global warming and the billionaires that cause it, and because of that, I don’t plan to watch it and neither does anyone else. The movie stands to lose over $250 million and I am happy to see that.
I don’t know if it’s age or what, but I have a hard time wrapping my head around these Democrat candidates and the voters who support them. The “progressive” Democrat Party has become regressive in the last couple years as they want to impede any progress on SI, data centers, nuclear energy, and energy exploration while at the same time being endorsed by Iran who like to oppress women and kill infidels and gay people. They have devolved into the party of misfit toys.
It has also dawned on me why socialism is such a fan favorite amongst the tik tok generation. Mob Rule. Kelly Clarksons recent dust up and social media tirade is a good example. She has played victim and encouraged her supporters to attack the company, and they have. I see this a lot on social media where someone will get offended by a comment and then instruct their followers to go after the offender. It’s not good. They’re like a pack of rabid dogs. Ann Coulter wrote a good book about mob rule years ago, and it’s playing out on social media.
little man disease
Back in the day we used to call it Napoleon Complex, and I think your comment is spot on.
I still sometimes think of writing Unserious Men – a history of the idiots in the first half of the 20th century who totally wrecked the world. You’d know most of them – there are monuments to them all over the world. But, honestly, we’re still governed by the Unserious. People who don’t really know what they’re doing. Trump knows and maybe a dozen others around the world…the rest are just nincompoops who climbed the Idiot Ladder to power and just do whatever they think will keep them there…even if it means destroying their own countries. Putin and Zellenskyy are both Unserious. Lacking both the knowledge and the courage to be actual leaders of nations.
I heard Markwayne Mullin yesterday say they are looking for over 15,000 illegal immigrants in NY that have a combined total of over 50,000 felonies and the NY Democrats are refusing to turn them over or help find them..
There are also a lot of Islamists being protected and elected by Democrats which is an existential threat to the country. Never forget, the Quran instructs Muslims to lie and deceive the infidel to gain control. They will say anything and people like Casper will fall for it. Time for the Crusades.
I have always liked Britt Hume but admit he has often been a negative person …. this headline though makes me think he is being paid to suppress the MAGA vote. Fuel prices are the only stumbling block Trump faces, but when you add in all his successes and the fact that Democrats are insane, November should be a red wave. Have some confidence Britt.
Fox News veteran Brit Hume warns of midterm ‘washout’ that would see Trump and the Republicans get ‘slaughtered’
Fuel prices are up, Inflation is up, half the Epstein files haven’t been released and no one is investigating those named some far, We are in the middle of a war no now wanted. Trump’s rallies are getting smaller and being held is states that use to be bright red.
Again, there is no need for you to comment on anything. I know exactly what you are going to say. You are a predictable agenda media rinse and repeat machine, but if you do have insights on why CA is so expensive to live in, and why many Californians are moving out of the State, I’d be interested. You have yet to even attempt a response to that question. And knowing you’re such a defender of child sexual exploitation, how much have you donated to the Tim Tebow foundation? I’ll bet it’s a lot.
Cluster,
Not sure why you are so obsessed with my opinion of California, a state I’ve never lived in. I do however, understand why you don’t want to talk about the Epstein files or the economy. They don’t reflect very well on our current administration.
Here is something else to think about.
https://news.gallup.com/poll/713933/record-high-say-government-corruption-widespread.aspx
Well sweetie, the economy is great for people who actually work. No tax on tips, no tax on overtime, increased manufacturing, secure border, etc. Wages are up and so are savings accounts. Right now my son has a position open paying $26.50 an hour and he can’t find anyone to fill the slot. The economy hasn’t failed the people, the people have failed the economy. They are lazy and entitled.
Re: Epstein files, if you were so curious about them, why didn’t you demand Biden release them? Never heard one word from you on that during Bidens admin. Secondly, Trump has ordered the release of it all. Liberal judges are holding it up.
I am also guessing you have not contributed to the Tim Tebow Foundation so please stop with the virtue signaling. Secondly, you claim Democrats are best for inflation and the economy but fail to deliver any coherent response to why all the most expensive States to live in, are governed by Democrats including CA. The fact that you can’t understand that surprises no one.
And your poll is laughable. By Gallup of all places. Any one experienced in American politics knows that polls are an effort to shape opinion, not reflect it. Remember when Hillary had a 92% chance of winning LOLOLOL. I do.
Remember when Hillary had a 92% chance of winning LOLOLOL. I do.
The ABC poll had Hillary up 20 points just before the 2016 election.
Again, there is no need for you to comment on anything. I know exactly what you are going to say. You are a predictable agenda media rinse and repeat machine
And yet he HAS felt the need to comment here for a couple of decades, and I can probably count the serious, thought-provoking comments on one hand. Just curious, Casper, do you comment on any other sites? Why here? What’s the attraction to a site where you’re continually ridiculed and look like a dufas? There has to be some kind of mental pathology at work.
And just for the record, I come here because I enjoy about 99% of what Mark writes, and I enjoy the conversation with the handful of Conservatives who post here. We’ve become friends over the years, and while we don’t always agree with each other, we respect each other, and in the worst case scenario, we’d unhesitatingly share a foxhole with each other. Of that I have no doubt. When people like Casper come here it’s almost always to throw a turd in the punch bowl, and almost never to offer anything constructive.
“Trump has ordered the release of it all. Liberal judges are holding it up.”
Not true. Trump’s Justice department is holding up the release of the files. They are also refusing to investigate anyone named in the files.
“Right now my son has a position open paying $26.50 an hour and he can’t find anyone to fill the slot.”
Good argument for more immigrants.
You act like Tim Tebow Foundation is the only charity out there. It’s not. And who I contribute to is none of your business.
As for CA and other expensive States, why don’t you explain why the poorest, unhealthiest, uneducated States are all Red states.
You’re only mad that the Epstein files don’t implicate Trump. But they do implicate Reid Hoffman. Do you know who he is Casper? And have you figured out who Hasan Piker is?
has the trump administration released the epstein files
Yes, the Trump administration has released millions of pages of documents related to Jeffrey Epstein through the U.S. Department of Justice. [1, 2]
Key Details
The Epstein files do implicate Trump.
https://www.npr.org/2026/02/24/nx-s1-5723968/epstein-files-trump-accusation-maxwell
Reid Hoffman, RFKjr, Howard Lutnick , Elon Musk, and all the others mentioned in the files should be investigated. regardless of party.
The claim is that “the Epstein files do implicate Trump”. Yet when examined they “implicate” Trump in exactly the same kind of social interaction among prominent and wealthy people, who know the same people, attend the same events, are asked to pose together by the same newspaper photographers and basically have very superficial “relationships” limited to being in the same place at the same time for the same social function that define certain levels of “high society”.
No one would expect a mediocre middle school teacher in a small Wyoming city to be able understand this very different way of life. But that is no excuse because millions of people who have never been personally exposed to this have been able to understand that it exists. As a teenager in a very small rural town I still read the NY social pages when I could, and even then I understood that these people led very different lives than I ever would.
Casper has been trying to shoehorn this superficial level of “relationships” into his limited hick mentality and it shows. To him, when a businessman praises another businessman it means they are good buddies and very close, not that they know the rules about saying the right things when asked. To him, if a photographer asks one businessman to step closer to another, so close that it is more physically comfortable to put an arm on the other’s shoulder, that is a de facto declaration of deep friendship/ not just playing by the rules of the game of social etiquette. To Casper, two men smiling for the camera on request means they share something personal and maybe even intimate.
This explains why he can be so dazzled by the thin “evidence” produced in this article. He has no problem accepting the claim that 43 years ago a 13-year-old girl recognized a 30-something businessman just making his name in New York real estate and construction. And that when he allegedly “forced her head down to his exposed penis” —with no context about what allegedly led up to this, leaving the impression that there was some kind of formal introduction of Trump to this child (“this is Donald Trump, your rapist for the evening”) and he immediately unzipped and tried to force her to commit a sex act (in spite of his history of only being attracted to mature voluptuous women with no hint of interest in children)— this little girl had the courage to bite him.
Because it is easier to believe this highly unlikely scenario, complete with savvy kid who knew who this guy was and did something mature women being molested seldom do, a full 43 years ago, than it is to admit that the fact this is the closest the files can come to a description of an actual alleged act indicates it is all made up. IOW it is 95% “some people now say a guy might have done something” propped up by “and a little girl claimed back in 1983 that she recognized this particular businessman and fought back against his effort to molest her.”
Who, outside of the inner circle of NY society pages, would recognize a young Donald Trump in 1983? This was back when a photo of people at a social event would appear only in a local (NYC) newspaper and only in the Society pages–but this little girl knew who he was?
What was the contemporaneous reaction of law enforcement to this? First—who allegedly reported it? Was a formal report filed? Then, what kind of investigation ensued? The article hints at casual intra-Bureau gossip. In other words, exactly the kind of vague, salacious sly hinting but lack of actual context, that gets panty-sniffing Casper’s motor revving.
Good argument for more immigrants.
So you don’t want an American to have that job? Thanks for telling us who you are.
“So you don’t want an American to have that job? Thanks for telling us who you are.”
According to you. “The economy hasn’t failed the people, the people have failed the economy. They are lazy and entitled.”
Exactly, But they are still Americans and our jobs go to them. Eventually some one will step up and it most likely will be a young man who has grown disenfranchised with all the false promises of Democrats.
And please show us where the Epstein files implicate Trump. You obviously know so please share it with us. And weird that you are so obsessed with this considering your Muslim friends love to fuck 9 year olds.
I already posted an article implicating Trump.
An article written by NPR is not a legal case. Just FYI
Didn’t say there was a legal case, just lots of evidence, all which you will reject because.
I believe in innocent until proven guilty. No one has proven anything. You should believe in that idea too. It’s one thing that makes America so great.
“lots of evidence”—which I go into in a slightly earlier post, above.
I believe that if there is evidence of a crime it should be investigated. Don’t you?
Given NPR’s unfamiliarity with the truth, I wouldn’t take their saying there’s evidence as anything other than wishful thinking. Kind of in line with most of your comments, which I guess is why you use them as a source. The Biden justice department threw everything at Trump including several kitchen sinks, and batted zero. If there was even the slightest bit of evidence trying Trump to Epstein, it would have been revealed a long time ago.
You don’t think they have investigated Trump??! LOL
Funny how Casper will believe imaginary things, yet not believe real things. For example, why the cost of living in Hawaii and California is so high.
Define “evidence”. I read the NPR hit piece, except it was just a wannabe hit piece that didn’t even have enough heft to swat a fly, much less make an impression on any thinking person. So many words, to say so little in such a desperate attempt to create an illusion it could then pass off as reality. Buried in all this verbiage is an old allegation by a child, which never managed to get beyond internal Bureau gossip (f that) of a brief and hard-to-believe (but gratifyingly nasty) encounter with someone she, somehow, managed to identify though at the time this allegedly took place he was barely known outside the social environs and real estate world of NYC.
Yeah, right. This is what you call “evidence”. And your silly NPR article admits it was still investigated.
What does come through is your intense focus on what you hope is something salacious. You seem to have a lot invested in finding some dirt, some smut, you can then roll around in while posturing as a Christian patriot only interested in the truth. You increasingly come across as a panty-sniffing pervert slobbering over the hope of hearing something nasty.
I believe that if there is evidence of a crime it should be investigated. Don’t you?
There are all kinds of evidence. It depends entirely on how credible the evidence is.
Unless its Omar. Or a Learing Center. Or just where in heck did all that money Newsom spent on homeless and choo choos go?
Of course Trump has been investigated. He is a convicted felon and would be in jail if he hadn’t won the election.
I assume you’re referring to this:
So, the crime was so inconsequential that there was NO PENALTY (no jail time, no fine, no house arrest, no ankle monitor, no probation NO NOTHING), and to say that he would be in jail if he hadn’t won the election IS A LIE, something, unfortunately, that you are all to familiar with. Joe Biden, alias THE BIG GUY, OTOH, sold influence to the Chinese and kept classified documents that he had no right to even have in his garage. He actually SHOULD BE IN JAIL, and if you or I had done what he did, WE WOULD BE IN JAIL!
The judge chose not to sentence the incoming president. If he had lost the election, things might have been different. There were also the two investigations by Jack Smith that also would probably have resulted in convictions.that were ended because of the election.
That accounting entry was carried over on other financial statements resulting in the 34 counts. So it was the SAME entry they counted 34 times. AND IT’S NOT A CRIME. That crime was manufactured as “deceptive”. Democrats are the FASCISTS Casper. YOU are a fascist Casper. And unAmerican. The red wave is coming for these morons.
Merchan did what he had to do, which was to try to defuse the matter before it blew up and dragged everyone down. So he struck a deal with the Trump team: New York would settle for the symbolism of the felony ruling, which is all they wanted anyway, and would drop everything else so Trump could focus on what was more important. He knew that the mouthbreathing base of the party would salivate over the ruling, be orgasmic over the chance to chant “34 FELONIES” and that this could be dragged out of the sewer (like the dismissed charges against Trump were revived after the statute of limitations had expired) to gin up some fervor in the low-info crowd whenever they needed to disguise the fact that this is all they had.
There is no way a prison sentence could have been imposed, not on this flimsy excuse for a crime. The “offenses” had been 1) investigated by the IRS and dismissed: 2) investigated by the Election Commission and found baseless: and 3) were well beyond the statute of limitations. There were no false filings. The payments were made for legal expenses based upon the invoices for legal expenses. Without that trusty crystal ball of the Left, which lets it determine the innermost thoughts of others and assign motives for their actions, the twice-investigated, twice-dismissed, expired issue could not have been revived under a new. wholly unique, elaborate tapestry of an invented agenda of manipulating an election by hiding salacious gossip.
The Left knows its base, and knows that this base is ignorant, wallows in its ignorance, and will swallow whatever is fed to it if it is slimy enough, nasty enough, vicious enough to appeal to it.
And here comes Casper, waddling in to prove it right.
Now, according to Casper, a ruling in May of 2024 was deferential to an “incoming president”. Who was not elected until November of 2024.
And then he goes on to use his typical weasel words: “might have been different” and “probably”.
When we evaluate character we often go by a person’s history, his past, what he has done in his life. That doesn’t work well for Christians, whose entire belief system is based on repentance and forgiveness and the evolution of the spirit, but it is important to grudge-harboring types who collect grievances, lovingly stroke them and nourish them and elevate them to great importance in their lives.
I’ve come to understand that far more important that history is aspiration—not what some has been but what that person aspires to be. And what I see in Casper is someone who aspires to greater and greater malice.
Excellent observation
“ … but it is important to grudge-harboring types who collect grievances, lovingly stroke them and nourish them and elevate them to great importance in their lives”
Exactly what an evil Satan demands
“That doesn’t work well for Christians, whose entire belief system is based on repentance and forgiveness and the evolution of the spirit“
Exactly what a loving God commands
“Now, according to Casper, a ruling in May of 2024 was deferential to an “incoming president”. Who was not elected until November of 2024.”
Sentencing didn’t take place until Jan. 10, 2025, after Trump had won election.
“That accounting entry was carried over on other financial statements resulting in the 34 counts. So it was the SAME entry they counted 34 times. AND IT’S NOT A CRIME.”
It was 34 different offenses. It is a crime and he is convicted of it. Trump is a convicted felon.
He also was found libel for sexual assault and had to pay E Jean Carroll Five million dollars. That ruling was appealed all the way to the Supreme Court (twice).
Sentencing didn’t take place until Jan. 10, 2025, after Trump had won election.
The key words being “after Trump had won the election.” Obviously the majority of voters saw through this sham prosecution.
There were also the two investigations by Jack Smith that also would probably have resulted in convictions.that were ended because of the election.
You appear to be referring to the same Jack Smith who pursued this in spite of never being legally appointed or confirmed for his position. The same Jack Smith whose “investigative team obtained and reviewed text messages from 44 Members of Congress as part of the Biden Department of Justice’s (DOJ) criminal investigation into President Trump. Evidence shows the investigators bypassed a required Filter Team review process, violating investigative protocols and potentially infringing on constitutional guardrails.” and who is now under investigation himself for various violations of the law and professional ethics? Whose zeal for “getting Trump” led him to violate the Constitutional rights of members of Congress and other citizens? That Jack Smith?
No wonder you think so highly of him.
And I see you have been stroking that crystal ball of yours to get the secret revelation that two “investigations” by this proven liar and ethically challenged lapdog of the anti-Trump campaign, “would probably have resulted in convictions“. Just what investigations by this sleazeball would have “probably have resulted in convictions“? For what?
A look at Casper hero Jack Smith and his collection of personal data of conservatives:
Biden, BTW, has never been charged, much less convicted of a crime. One would think that if there was a case the Trump justice department would have pursued it.
Trump has decided not to investigate or prosecute Biden because he is a decent man. And much better of a person than the fascist piles of shit you support.
More Casper “logic” from his Land Of What If. In this case, it is “One would think that if there was a case the Trump justice department would have pursued it.”
This poor befuddled little man, so pathetically, so transparently, so passionately desperate to find some rationale for his irrational hatred of Donald Trump that he eagerly blurts out the stupidest things imaginable. Well, they CAN be imagined, as we see from his posts.
There are a couple of reasons to delay prosecuting Biden. One is the same kind of rationale that drove the decision to not prosecute Nixon—weighing the damage to the fabric of American society against the possible benefits of a conviction.
Here is another difference between the Right and Left: The goal of the Left is to destabilize our society, and that of the Right is maintain it and keep it secure. We see this in the ferocious determination to destroy our president. Not just defeat him politically, but DESTROY him. From attempted assassinations to the multiple attacks on him as a person, the agenda of the Left is to not only destroy this man (who does, after all, represent the greatest threat to the Left it has ever encountered) but to throw the entire nation into conflict and chaos.
We don’t need to prosecute Biden or his family. Most of the country knows they are crooks, are morally depraved, are dishonest on every level. Personally, while I understand the reasons to prosecute, including affirming that no man is above the law, I am suffering Biden Fatigue and think we as a nation are better off to just close the door on the train wreck that is the Biden Family, with its graft and its ugliness, and focus on the advancement of the welfare of the nation under our current leadership. Fixing the damage he did is more important than a conviction of what is probably a dieing man.
Rather than fall into the trap of prosecuting a demented old man probably on or at least nearing his final days, with no benefit to the nation, I think we should instead focus on prosecuting people who lied under oath, like former U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch, who committed perjury as part of the first Star Chamber attack on Trump.
I’d like to see an investigation into everyone who violated confidentiality and security protocols in the way Trump’s first phone call was handled, starting with Vindman and his stool pigeon who blabbed in violation of confidentiality rules and going all the way through every witness called by Liz Cheney.
Forget Biden.. He is nothing but a skid mark in the jockey shorts of our history, and doesn’t deserve the attention or respect of a formal investigation. Oh, look into his many crimes and make a record, because some day when the obedient acolytes like Casper start trying to sanitize his record and elevate him to sainthood (to sit at the right hand of the Lightbringer, who never could stand him) it will be handy to have the file, but move on to something productive.
Like sending a message to anyone willing to participate in subverting our
Constitutional rights, abusing the power of office, and lying under oath to advance a political agenda. This is what will turn out to be the most productive and long-lasting policy, regarding our DOJ.
No, they wouldn’t. Trump isn’t a vindictive son of a bitch like, say, Obama. Part of me did want Biden perp walked…but I’m a Christian so I’ll leave his judgement up to God. And note that his “Presidential” library can’t raise any money because you Democrats don’t care about anyone who can’t help you any more. Obama got a billion dollars for his Stalinist trash can of a “library” because he can still pull strings…Biden can’t even get a groupon because he’s finished, as is his whole family.
We don’t want revenge, Cap. That’s a Democrat thing. We just want a just society where everyone gets to keep what they earn.
Biden hasn’t been charged because there isn’t strong enough evidence he did something wrong. Trump is probably the most vindictive son of a bitch alive. He has gone after almost everyone he considers his enemy. There just hasn’t been enough evidence to convict any of them.
Biden hasn’t been charged because there isn’t strong enough evidence he did something wrong.
You can’t get much stronger than finding boxes of classified documents that he wasn’t supposed to have stashed in his garage next to his Corvette. As I said before, if you or I did that we’d be in Leavenworth.
Biden’s had over 20 LLC’s yet never ran a business venture, and all the grandkids are quite wealthy, as is brother James and son Hunter. But there’s no evidence of any wrong doing LOL.
Let’s focus a little more tightly on those documents sitting in the unsecured Biden garage at the house occupied by his addict son. That is, the fact that these were not documents to which Biden EVER had legal access. Many were taken from one or more SCIFS.
A SCIF, or sensitive compartmented information facility, is a very tightly restricted area where the most sensitive documents are kept and the most sensitive discussions held. Access is tightly restricted. People are not allowed to enter with phones or other electronic and/or recording devices and—-and this is most important—-documents are not allowed to be removed from the area.
The only way to possess documents that had been assigned to a SCIF is to, literally, steal them. As Clinton’s National Security Advisor, Sandy Berger, did when he stole documents from the National Archives. “Berger stuffed some handwritten notes down his pants, placed others in his jacket and put classified documents into his briefcase.”
The documents found in Biden’s unsecured garage, in cardboard boxes with lids falling off, had been removed from one or more SCIFs in violation of rules and protocol and the law covering who may possess such documents and how they must be secured. And this happened before Biden was president. As a Vice President, and particularly as a Senator, he never had the authority to possess any of these documents even if they had not been illegally removed from one or more SCIFs.
This is far different from Trump’s case, where Trump, as president, had the authority to declassify any documents he chose, and the authority to keep some as part of his preparation of future presidential library exhibits, etc.
AOC was on the campaign with Mohammed yesterday in MI and said …..
“They don’t want women to go to college” !!!
How sad is that? Democrats are so stupid and void of any real ideas that they resort to outlandish comments solely designed to manipulate the stupid …. Like Casper
https://x.com/theblaze/status/2110830131887391114?s=61
“They don’t want women to go to college”
Well, “they” aren’t doing a very good job, are they?
Nice to see a major company holding the line on the cost of a Thanksgiving meal.
So Katie Zacharia is already out as press secretary because people can’t stop complaining about everything. Who are these people?? I am so tired of whiny noisy people. She had ONE brief introductory press conference and people complained, apparently by mentioning she had a law background and this upset lawyers. Most lawyers are absolute scum. Michael Avenatti is good example. Ambulance chasers who charge way more than they’re worth. She should have stayed and jammed their criticism right down their throats.
Katie Zacharia is out because she did a lousy job and she was fired by Trump.
Why are you so misogynistic? Are you afraid of strong women?
Why does Trump fire so many women. Is he a misogynist?
I really think you should take some time and reflect on your hatred of strong women.
The “crime” depended solely on the crystal ball ability to determine the secret reason for filing payments for legal services as payment for legal services. It was that secret motivation to prevent voters from learning that he had paid someone to do something it was not illegal to do.
Does that make sense? Of course not. It never made sense. Top legal experts from both parties decried this as the most blatant example of abuse of power and unethical manipulation of the system they had ever seen.
A lawyer, representing his client, pays a third party a sum of money as part of a mutually agreed-upon NDA in a totally legal transaction. There was never even a claim that this was illegal.
Then the lawyer included these payments in his invoices to his client, the invoices which covered all the services he had provide and which were, therefore, note as “legal services”
The Trump accountant paid the invoices presented as being for legal services and handed these records over to the tax people, who then entered them as such and deducted them as legal services.
Slobbering Trump haters then went running to the IRS claiming this was an improper claim, and the IRS investigated the matter and decided it was a legitimate filing and dismissed the whining.
Then the same baying mob filed criminal charges falsification of business records to conceal payments made to the pornographic film actress Stormy Daniels as hush money to buy her silence over an alleged sexual encounter between them. This failed as it is not against the law to pay people to stop talking about you.
So then Manhattan District Attorney (DA), Alvin Bragg accused Trump of falsifying these business records with the intent to commit other crimes, which allowed him to resurrect the original charges even after they had been investigated twice, dismissed twice, and then supposedly been retired after exceeding the statute of limitations. But tying these misdemeanors to the claim that they were committed with the intent to commit other crimes let Bragg elevate them to felony status.
“Each count corresponded to an invoice, check, or ledger entry (NOT a separate payment) in the Trump Organization’s books that prosecutors said disguised reimbursements as legal expenses. The underlying payment at the center of the case was $130,000 that Trump’s then-personal attorney Michael Cohen paid Stormy Daniels shortly before the 2016 election to suppress her account of an alleged sexual encounter with Trump.” That is, there were not 34 payment charged as crimes, but 34 times a payment moved through the accounting system to be recorded or files.
Falsifying business records is ordinarily a misdemeanor in New York. Prosecutors elevated the counts to felonies by arguing that the false entries were made to conceal a violation of a state election law prohibiting conspiracy to promote an election through unlawful means. (The head of the Federal Election Commission was not allowed to testify that the Commission found no wrongdoing and was ordered to refrain from commenting on the case, on pain of contempt of court.)
I know Casper can’t follow this, but everyone else can. The state argued that “the false entries were made to conceal a violation of a state election law prohibiting conspiracy to promote an election through unlawful means.” Though it was not unlawful to make those payments, and the “unlawful” part of this depended on Bragg’s determination that identifying payment on invoices titled “for legal services” as payment for legal services was a precipitating crime, or “false entries”, based on the voices in his head telling him what they were REALLY for.
And no, there were not 34 separate payments.
In other words, EVEN IF the resurrection of the twice-investigated twice-dismissed and timed-out charges had justified the recharging, it should have been one count—not 34. But the mouthbreathing low-info mob demanded a big symbolic number and Fat Albert delivered.
How many women has President Trump fired? Who?
How many men? Who?
What is the man/woman ratio?
In what way did she do “a lousy job”? She was new to a very complex and demanding job with a steep learning curve. And a mediocre middle school teacher from a small Western city is presuming to opine on her skill on her first days on the job? He couldn’t even adequately teach about the Constitution, and it was an open book test.
I certainly didn’t see Casper attacking the competence of Biden’s train wrecks of press secretaries.
The school shooter in OR has been identified

No doubt he was a MAGA Republican who wanted to stop black and brown girls from going to school. Right Casper? I thought I would get a head of you on that one.
The “far-right” is developing flying cars, spaceships, and epic military technology.
The far-left is sterilizing themselves, killing babies, and cutting off man parts
We are not the same.
What could be funnier than a certified moron like Crockett opining on the intelligence of a man who taught himself rocket science by reading books and went on to design and build not only a vast fleet of satellites bringing high-quality internet to millions of people around the world but a rocket system better than that of NASA, accomplishing not only what NASA had said was impossible—-returning rockets from space to be reused—but bringing them back with such accuracy they could literally be plucked out of the sky by what looked like giant chopsticks.
That’s funny considering that I have been lucky enough to have been married to two strong women.
The first was liked and respected and the opinion of those who knew her and you was that she was a good influence on you and furthermore the reason you were tolerated as much as you were.
Your second does not appear to meet those criteria. At least in this marriage you have become more and more snide and snarly and mean-spirited, more driven by spite and malice, and in general a far more offensive person. Too bad you couldn’t find someone more like Wife #1
Where’s Ilhan Omar??? Do you think she fled? I think her sister did? Reports are that the investigation is well beyond just immigration fraud. She does not belong in the House. Any house for that matter.
The Democrat Party has become an organized crime syndicate. The 5 States with the highest debts are all exclusive governed by Democrats. That should be no surprise. One great example is the homeless industry in CA. That State has spent billions on “helping the homeless” and in that time, the homeless population has increased nearly two fold. They are straight up grifters

Given Omar’s involvement in the war crimes perpetrated by her father, and the fact that they fled to the United States to avoid prosecution, I have a feeling that when Omar started to feel the walls closing in at least some of them were related to her history in Somalia, in addition to her immigration fraud here and possible collusion in the vast Somali fraud machine that operated in her district.
I think America should stop electing Democrats until they learn how to control fire. It’s a basic skill they have yet to master

Exciting time to be alive.
I don’t think this is likely to lead to people doing cartwheels in cars, but the technology is fascinating, as is the mental impetus that led to its development.
I still remember my amazement when Musk, in a Rogan interview, said he had never taken a class in rocket science and had taught himself by reading about it.
Genius is not just a person’s skills or intelligence but in the scope of his imagination and aspirations.
but in the scope of his imagination and aspirations.
And Musk has those attributes in spades.
And so, I point out, does Donald Trump, though in different fields of endeavors. The scope of his knowledge and interest and ability to identify problems and generate solutions to those problems is amazing.
Back to Rogan interviews. I saw one where Trump spoke extemporaneously at length about the need to shift to nuclear energy and the problems of building new reactors, explaining the EPA regulations, the technical specs for concrete in new construction of reactors, and details of construction and regulations without the slightest hesitation.
I think the word “visionary” is appropriate, though in different areas of interest.
Eric Florack starts this morning’s column with commentary on bad drivers but then brings in additional observations about the Left’s virtue signaling of their conviction that their tribal allegiance and associated adoption of approved quasi-religious rites justifies their smugness. As he writes: “believe me when I tell you this: The worst drivers on the planet are the ones who inexplicably believe the car they drive is saving it.
You know the type. You’ve seen the car. Sometimes it whispers past you at 85 with no engine noise, so you never hear it coming so fast you can’t read the “Coexist” sticker peeling off the trunk lid, and taking the paint with it. Sometimes it putters along at 52 in the left lane of the Thruway with a bumper sticker announcing that there is no Planet B. Either way, the driver carries himself with the serene confidence of a man who has already done his good deed for the day and therefore owes nothing further to anyone — including the other people on the road.
“That’s the root of it. Moral licensing. Psychologists have a name for the phenomenon: Do one virtuous thing, and you give yourself permission to behave badly elsewhere. Eat a salad at lunch, and you’ve earned the cheesecake. Buy a car that the brochure calls “zero emission,” and you’ve earned the right to cut off a loaded tractor-trailer with about 30 feet to spare.“”
As someone who does a LOT of driving, most of it on high-speed interstate highways shared with big rigs and, until I retired, a lot of it pulling heavy trailers loaded with livestock or equipment, I’ve seen the same things.
I particularly like the term “moral licensing”, partly because it leaves the definition of what is, actually, a “virtuous thing”. If you have convinced yourself that breaking the law is in some way “virtuous’ then that allows you to expand on the original crime of, say, harboring an illegal alien, to a much more violent and serious crime of physically attacking and trying to injure law enforcement officers.
He also touches on another aspect the smug virtue-signalers refuse to acknowledge: “Then there’s the matter of what these cars actually save. Battery-powered vehicles weigh a lot more than their gasoline cousins — hundreds of pounds more, sometimes over a thousand. Weight shreds tires. One emissions-testing firm in Britain found that tire wear from a heavy EV’s extra battery weight can dwarf the particulate pollution coming out of a modern gas car’s tailpipe. Engineers will argue over the exact figures for years. But the basic physics doesn’t care about your feelings: More mass means more rubber on the road, more wear on the pavement, and more energy to bring the thing to a stop when you finally notice the brake lights ahead.”
I’m not sure if Casper didn’t see my question earlier in the thread, or if he is deliberately avoiding answering it, but here it is again:
I don’t think he believes in anything constructive. He just bends with what the mob demands absent historical reference or any productive outcome. Who remembers Mitch? (RIP) Far leftist dude who use to post here in the same vein as Casper. I got to know him a little bit off the blog and he actually was a pretty good normal guy. Hard working family man who loved his kids. Well I asked him one time if his vote was driven by intentions or outcomes? Without hesitation, he said intentions. And I believe this to be almost universal amongst Democrats. They don’t really care about outcomes, only intentions. And now we know why that party s such a mess, unaccomplished people but with “good intentions”, which is the easy way out. Anyone can articulate good intentions, but only accomplished people can create a good outcome.
I can’t imagine living your life without ever being FOR anything good and wholesome, and not being welcome in their own party if you try. I also can’t imagine owing allegiance to a party that exploits children.
I get emails from the NextDoor app, rarely pay attention to them, and have never posted anything. Most of what I see are from complainers and whiners. This was posted this afternoon and caught my eye.
I didn’t realize anyone was getting COVID boosters anymore. Most people I know who got the initial shots regret having gotten them.
People are insane.
On another topic, it appears there is an Islamic Revolution underway in France.
Good news for California vinyards.
In all seriousness, can you imagine the global impact if Islamic radicals took over France? Talk about mind boggling.
It is – and I’m writing that up right now.
