Isn’t It Against the Law to Kill an Eagle?

If one (except a Native American) possesses an eagle feather, it is a federal offense.  If one, kills an eagle – even accidentally – one faces jail time.

Who will face jail time for this? No one…. when leftist policies kill people the left looks the other way.  Just another example of “the path to hell is paved with good intentions”.

I am sure eagle deaths are more numerous than what is in the study.  My understanding is that the study relies on the REPORTING of eagle deaths and not an actual count.

Will the left protest the wind farms for killing animals?  Or, will they look the other way, since it is America’s icon (and the proggy push is to shame this country) and they feel it is a small price to pay for green energy instead of “enriching big oil”.

The Proggies think they understand everything.  How can an anti-religious political ideology understand any religion, their teachings and their origins especially when the proggies cherry-pick passages from the Bible to prove their pathetic points.

The Church retains its unyielding ideals and clear, unchanging directives concerning sexual behavior, marriage, and the sacredness of life. Such ideals remain bedrock foundations.

Progressives should not, then, expect the pope to endorse their agenda in any respect. Such matters as gay marriage, eradication of the distinctions between the sexes, and abortion on demand will not soon be endorsed by the leader of the Catholic Church.

The Left should expect to be deeply disappointed in this Pope.

To the chagrin of climate change alarmists (formerly know as global warming alarmists and global cooling alarmists) NASA data shows that far less heat is trapped by earth’s increased CO2 laden atmosphere. (Even AlGore’s own chart showed that temperature increases PRECEEDED CO2 concentration increases by 800 years).

Now after seeing dozens of pictures and videos (by very discriminating camera persons) of Polar Bears stranded on smaller and smaller ice flows (again pictures were misleading), it seams, that during one of the highest concentrations of atmospheric CO2 and contrary to the climate models, arctic ice has increased by 60% in one year!  The pictures speak for themselves.

The current models, which are supposedly based on “settled” and “peer reviewed” science, that the alarmists take as gospel have yet to predict any of the contrary physical evidence that we have seen.  This goes to show anyone with an open mind, who avoids the zealotry of the left that treats Global Climate Change as their religion, can see that the science is far from settled and that consensus does not a solid conclusion make.

It goes to show that Democrats can’t think for themselves and their actions are a result of partisanship.

HOLMES NORTON: So I think he’ll be in real trouble if he then does it anyway. No president has done that.

HOLMES NORTON: Oh, and I’d like to say, Bill, that if he gets saved at all, I think it’ll be because, it’ll be because of loyalty of Democrats. They just don’t want to see him shamed and humiliated on the national stage.

The idea is that if we fail to sustain Obama on Syria, then when he does go to talk to the Iranians about their nuclear program, the Iranians will know in advance that there is no credible threat of US action if Iran refuses to forgo nuclear weapons.  Its a nice theory, but it is based upon a premise that to this moment Iran believes that we’ll do something about their nuclear program.  If they do, then they are too stupid to figure out how to build an atomic bomb…or even a firecracker, for that matter.

Obama’s credibility will not be destroyed by failure to sustain him on Syria – Obama’s credibility has been destroyed for ages.  If the Assad government did use chemical weapons it is because they were convinced that no great punishment would be meted out if they did.  And, they’re right – even if we sustain Obama, he’s just going to lob a few missiles in to Syria.  Twenty or thirty more large explosions added to the scores of large explosions happening there every day.  Not exactly the sort of thing to convince a bloodthirsty dictator fighting for his life that he’s in trouble.  No war in Syria – not now; not while Obama is President.

In short, as we defenders of the 2nd Amendment have long known, the observable facts simply will not support the strictly emotional arguments of the aping gun grabbers regarding both violent crime and suicide. Interestingly, the study also relates a survey of incarcerated felons that confirms that a criminal’s greatest fear is that his victim may be armed. That certainly makesthe case for a well-armed citizenry regardless of the definition of militia. The fact that the most recent acts of gun violence were conducted in gun free zones (by mentally troubled individuals who should have been in an institution – another leftist barrier), also shows the folly of the left’s mindless arguments.

Hagel Announces Steps To Improve Missile Defense Against North Korea

3/15/2013 3:20 PM ET

Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel announced Friday that the U.S. is taking additional steps to defend itself from a nuclear attack by North Korea.

Hagel said that the U.S. would deploy fourteen additional ground-based missile interceptors, providing a 50 percent increase in the nation’s missile defense capability.

The Defense Secretary said that the U.S. would also deploy additional radar in Japan to provide improved early warning and tracking.

Additionally, Hagel said that the Defense Department is conducting an environmental impact study of a new ground-based interceptor site in the U.S.

The moves come on the heels of a recent nuclear test by North Korea, which has also threatened a pre-emptive attack on South Korea and the U.S.

obAMATEUR ADDS $6 TRILLION to the national debt IN FOUR YEARS!!!!  He, his fellow proggy looters, his drones and lemmings all believe that he can spend this nation into prosperity – along with cranking up the printing presses.

Now that we are in sequestration, thanks to obAMATEUR (his plan and his initiation of it yesterday).  If he just followed his rhetoric – a balanced approach (tax increases with spending cuts) –  none of this would have happened.  He received his tax increases on the “evil” rich (to delay the sequestration date) where are the spending cuts?  He failed AGAIN to deliver the budget as required by law – since when does this pResident worry about law anyway?

It was estimated that 9-25 million people with pre-existing conditions were not insured.

The “high risk pools” set up under 2010 obAMATEUR-care law will be closed to new applicants by March 2nd (some states by Sunday) because funding is running low.

A sign of things to come…. We have seen this in Europe, especially in England, but warnings went unheeded to the pResident and Democrats hell bent on 1/7th of the nations wealth.

The New York Times columnist, economist and political advisor said that within less than 20 years the US will need to raise taxes and ration healthcare to deal with rising costs under Obamacare and yes, he said “death panels.”

By his own words, he has marked his pResidency a failure.  He has marked his leadership a failure.  He alone has shifted $6 trillion in debt to our children and grand-children.  He certainly has not led on the debt issue.  He has not lead on deficit reduction.  He just issues smug threats while generating fear amongst our citizens, especially the elderly – threatening them with non-payment of their Social Security.   He has not issued a budget, nor has Harry Reid passed a budget in almost four years.

Just more of the same…. while Democrats are out of power they make grandiose speeches against debt, deficits and irresponsible spending.  They regain power and everything they have said before is long forgotten.
