The legal defense fund for Daniel Penny has raised a million dollars so far – its only been up for a day, maybe two, so that’s good. Its getting to enough money to really pay for some top flight lawyers. Couple things about it:

The Left is relentlessly pointing out that Penny is white and the man who died was black. Race, of course, had absolutely nothing to do with the incident. But inflaming race hatred is a key component of the Left’s program…its been part of it since the mid 1970’s but it went into overdrive when an increasingly failing and unpopular Obama needed a tool to keep his troops in line. It has just gone thermonuclear since then. Do keep in mind that this isn’t a mistake. This isn’t an unintended consequence. This is deliberate and malicious: it is just like Julius Streicher and his Der Sturmer in Nazi Germany: it is intended to otherize us and make us legitimate targets for violence.

Meanwhile, I’ve noticed on the Right far too many people trying to split the baby: deploring the indictment of Penny but also making statements to the effect of, “he took it too far”. This is why we lose – and it is because we have forgotten. Nobody is ever allowed to act out in public. Not even once and not even a little bit. It is impermissible to accost people; to yell at them; to threaten them in any manner. All Penny did was what a man is supposed to do in that situation; stop the guy. It is unfortunate – and was clearly unintended – that he should die. But his death is on his hands, not Penny’s. It was the raving nutter who deliberately placed himself into a situation where any decent man would have to take him down…as gently as possible but with whatever force proved necessary. If Penny had deliberately killed the man, it would still not be a crime: because, once again, nobody is ever allowed to be a raving lunatic in public. Doing that is a complete breakdown of the social contract wherein we all agree to be polite and reasonable for the benefit of all. Start allowing people to at will ignore that rule and social chaos ensues – as we already see in New York, San Francisco and many other places.

Team Pudding Brain has manufactured a border crisis and is flooding America with what may be many millions of illegal immigrants – with of course untold thousands of vicious criminals mixed in with them. The official numbers are staggering and probably aren’t 50% of what is really coming in. Now, why should they do this? I think they believe that the resulting chaos will help them short and long term: as communities get overrun with illegals, the Democrats will claim their “common sense immigration reform” (ie, amnesty) will fix the problem but Republicans are obstructing it (this is why they are dumping lots of illegals in deep Blue areas) while, long term, they figure these illegals they’ll eventually turn into citizens will be grateful and vote Democrat for a couple generations. The crime and social chaos is just a bonus in this plan – keeping in mind that your basic Democrat (whether conscious of it or not) is a Marxist who believes that our wealth and security are the result of an evil system and we must be punished for taking what was never ours. But I have noticed that the deep Blue areas become illegal dumping grounds aren’t the high end deep Blue areas. They aren’t moving these people to Malibu, ya know? It is poor urban areas mostly made up of POC who are getting the shipments…and it is infuriating these people. There is a huge opportunity here…and the person best able at the moment to take advantage of it is Trump…though RDS can also make the pitch very well: that we GOPers will save low income communities from being overrun.

Biden is congratulating himself for appointing lots of women as judges – our Matt asks how can he tell as he’s not a biologist?

CNN is trying to tell us that it isn’t the bums, looting, feces and crime driving retailers out of the big Blue cities. It is something else. Lots of stuff. Complex social changes. But not the bum sh***ing on the street. It isn’t that. Trust them!

Elon Musk hired his new CEO for Twitter – a lady names Linda Yaccarino who checks off just about every Left SJW nutjob box you can think of. This has caused a lot of negative comment on Twitter and, yeah, it is worrying. OTOH, Musk is still saying he’s committed to free speech…to troll the Left he even Tweeted out a Pepe the Frog meme (if you don’t know – Pepe is a frog used in rightwing memes and it is hated by the Left). So, I don’t know. I can see on the face of it why Yaccarino was picked – she’s apparently first rate at generating advertising dollars and Musk does want Twitter to be profitable. But there is the worry that the Safety Council will come back, by one means or another, and Right comment will start to be throttled again (towards the end of the old Twitter regime it was getting really bad). I’m going to wait and see, myself: some of the people Yaccarino follows are accounts the Left hates with a white-hot passion. She might be one of those few Commies who is actually ok with the free flow of ideas – they are very rare, but they do exist. We’re going to find out.

Twitter started a “Community Notes” function which allows third parties to attach a statement to Tweets making certain claims of fact. As far as I know, any account can be subjected to such notes and there is a process for doing so…and then everyone can comment and vote on the Community Note. The main thing is that its beautiful – after years of Right Twitter getting banned for posting facts, Left Twitter is now finding that when they make the egregious lie, someone puts a Community Note on it – and the best are when they quote back to the Lefty their own previous words! The Left is, of course, going ballistic about this; often with the usual threat of leaving Twitter but as we on the Right found over the years, there’s nothing better than Twitter for fast-paced commentary with a big reach. It is still a relatively small thing – it doesn’t stop them from lying – but it does put out there the fact that they are, indeed, liars.

The newest St George Floyd of Fentanyl has dropped – a lunatic named Jordan Neely. He was, as per usual in such, a bum and drug addict with a long rap sheet (42 priors and when he was killed he was wanted for assault). On the NYC subway he started acting like an aggressive, lunatic drug addict and so a former Marine did what any decent man would do – he took him down. Because Neely was a drug addict this ended up killing him. Naturally, the Usual Suspects are all out there shouting “racism” and “no justice, no peace” while the MSM – pretty much all of it, including the parts you might think aren’t far Left fanatics – are trying to paint Neely as some sort of street artist beloved by all; failing that, they are trying to work up sympathy over the fact that Neely’s mother was quite brutally murdered some years back – as if that excuses being a violent, drug addicted lunatic. We’re all waiting for the Manhattan DA to charge the Marine with murder…and its 50/50 on conviction. A lot of Manhattanites are getting fed up with the rampant crime and disorder in NYC but they also know that if the Powers That Be want to punish a jury for coming to the “wrong” verdict, it will be done; their names and addresses would be “leaked” so that lunatics could hound them.

Joe Manchin looks ever more like electoral toast next year in West Virginia. He’s nobody to blame but himself. He could have triangulated himself into a life seat by ditching the Democrats to become an independent who caucuses with the GOP. He’d have had to do this some years back, but if he had done it the Senate would still be split and none of Biden’s legislative agenda would have passed. But instead he stuck with the Party and in return for just some really small time pork nobody in WV cares about, he empowered the far Left in the Biden Admin to totally screw over blue collar West Virginia.

Joe Biden is monumentally unpopular. I’m starting to wonder if now so unpopular that even a weak and divided GOP might have a shot next year? I’m still doubtful – especially as the MSM will prop Biden’s corpse up if they have to. I’ll use as my marker this: if RFK stays in and score 20% or more in the NH primary, then Joe is done. And it would be funny as heck if its a like father, like son replay of 1968.

Jesse Kelly has been ringing the alarm bell on what the Establishment plans for Trump – the Manhattan indictment is just the start. They are going to go nuclear on him with all the really bad stuff pouring on if he wins the GOP nomination. Now, if Trump fails in the primary, nothing to really worry about but if he emerges then its a problem. And not just an electoral math problem: if they can really destroy Trump with a series of bogus indictments, then they will destroy everyone who challenges them. Hate Trump all you want, but you must stand up for him in this matter…the charges are all lies. He’s being persecuted, not prosecuted. And it may come down to we have to nominate and elect him just to make sure their effort fails.

Daniel Barry defended himself against Communist BLM/Antifa terrorists and so a Soros-backed DA in Austin, TX bamboozled a jury of cowards into convicting him of murder. This is in Texas, guys: not California or New York. What is being said here is that you are not allowed to defend yourself wherever Democrats have power…if you fight against their paid thugs, you will be dragged into court and destroyed.

I’m confident that the Texas GOP will step up here – people are already calling for them to reform Texas’ pardon law so that Abbott can just spring this man from jail – but the bottom line is that we have in our country whole areas which are no-go for us. And we can’t allow that to continue. Especially we can’t let it happen in the blue cities of the Red States. Where we have the power we have to start enacting laws allowing Republican governors and legislatures to remove local DA’s who abuse their power on behalf of the Democrat party. We must let the Democrats know that we won’t let them bully us into silence.

After the TN GOP expelled those two commie thugs from their legislature, Democrats tried to make it about race because the two expelled happened to be black. This is nonsense because we judge on the content of character, not the color of skin. Stupid commies are stupid commies no matter what their race, ethnicity, gender or creed. As it turns out, the white woman involved in the insurrection didn’t get expelled – because she managed to bamboozle one GOPer into voting against her expulsion and so the vote fell just one short. How did she reward her GOP benefactor? By calling him racist, of course! The GOPer in question did issue a mea culpa and I do hope the lesson is learned: Never give the Democrats an inch. They are not good people.

House committee subpoenas Biden bank documents – we’ll see if this leads anywhere. But the fun part of this is that any argument the Democrats want to make against this is going to fail because the GOP is using the same rationale as the Democrats used for getting Trump’s tax records – which I guess were extremely clean as a whistle as they haven’t been leaked.

China is implementing restrictions on the export of Rare Earths – a key ingredient in lots of high tech things. Now, this is only a problem because our environmentalist morons (likely funded by China) won’t let us mine our own Rare Earths. But, meanwhile, we might find that we can’t build our fancy missiles because we simply lack the materials to do so. Side note: China is building a blue water Navy so they can challenge us and, if successful, blockade us during war…you know, cut us off from all the supplies we obtain in foreign countries because we refuse to produce them here at home because the Weather god would get angry if we did.

Look, guys; it is all BS – but they got their indictment and they’ll get their Trump mugshot and that will keep the Democrat base happy for months…and maybe even take the sting away when the charges collapse. But most importantly they got six murdered victims off the news. That was the crucial thing here.

Because the backlash is coming. I’m sure the DNC has internal polling showing that the issue is a loser for them: they know they have to keep talking up the issue as if its great because their base simply wouldn’t know what to do with any shift on it…but they had to get it off the TV.

Everyone other than the most wet noodle GOPers was out right away condemning the move. Everyone who isn’t a dyed in the wool Democrat knows its bogus (and according to polling, even 30% of the Democrats know its bogus). Some are saying the Dems long term plan is to have this help Trump (you can only imagine the amount of money he’ll fund-raise off it and the Trump story for a while now will suck up all the air in the room) by generating GOP base sympathy. I’m not so sure – the Democrats are still as ruthless as they’ve ever been, and when its time to get 2,000 votes together to flip an election their way, cracker jack…but of late I’ve noticed an increasing level of sheer stupid among them. Like when the SecDef went to Congress and said he had no regrets about how the Afghanistan withdrawal went…seriously, all the moron had to do was express pro-forma regret for the lost lives and move on…”no regrets!”. Idiot. Something ready made for the GOP 2024 campaign reel. They might be floundering badly here. It’ll be up to the GOP to see if they can capitalize on it. Do keep in mind that we’re not called The Stupid Party for no reason!

Yet another school shooting – this one they are having a little trouble with as the school is Christian and the shooter is Trans – one line they’re tying out – and I think they’ll settle on – is that this was provoked by GOP efforts to “ban transgender people”. Which, of course, is nothing of the sort. We GOPers are the most overly-tolerant people in the world. Vastly more so than any of those Left of center. We’re just kinda hung up on that whole mutilate minors with surgery and hormones thing. Sticks in the craw a bit.

But that is the Left: sheer evil. In response to one of their own who went off on shooting spree based on lies about us, they’re going to demand that we give up our guns and allow 12 year olds to have permanent, life-altering surgery. Nothing doing: fortunately, I’ve seen a lot of backbones today of people not sitting still for this drivel. But I also perceive that we’re still not pushing back all the way.

We need to start really calling these people out – Congresswoman Jayapal yesterday was on the House floor to condemn “MAGA extremist” attacks on LGBTQ youth. I Tweeted on top of that the fact that we’re not attacking LGBTQ youth: we’re attacking Jayapal and her sick and disgusting desire to mutilate minors and have perverts twerk in front of them. To pat myself on the back, that is the sort of line we have to start taking. These people aren’t merely wrong. They aren’t making mistakes. They aren’t doing good with unintended consequences: they are evil. They are bad. They are doing wrong things because they like wrong things and they get off on ruining lives.

We’ve talked for decades now about school shootings and it all comes back to the same thing: we allow lunatics free range. But now we must take it the next step back: the reason we have so many lunatics is because we have allowed the Left to deliberately and maliciously create an insane society…and they created this insane society by destroying morality. As I’ve said many times before – 80 years ago you could buy a machine gun by mail. Also back then you couldn’t even form the concept of “drag queen story time”. Fast forward to today and you have to jump though hoops to buy a semi-automatic weapon but we have drag queen story time. There is a connection, folks. We’re getting what the Left wanted – increasing restrictions on liberty along with government-subsidized license.

To nutshell it: don’t call them mistaken. Call them evil. They are wicked people trying to destroy. We push back on it that way and every time one of these horrors emerge, they’ll eventually be placed on the defensive…and then we can destroy them.

Fox News cut away to Pudding Brain expecting to see some comment about the school shooting and got some bizarre, senile ramble about ice cream. Now, he did eventually get around to spending a few seconds talking about the shooting, but then was back to yucking it up. The man is flat out senile and they clearly didn’t get his meds right today. The destiny of our nation is the feeble hands of a man who has gone gaga.

DeSantis is taking advantage of the fact that he holds executive power and has signed universal school choice in Florida. This will be a problem for Trump in the primary…all Trump can do is talk about doing things. RDS can do them.

One of Rand Paul’s staffers was brutally attacked in DC – no word yet on whether it was political or just Democrat City Life. Horrible all the same.

Matt Taibbi – the center-left journalist Musk has been allowing to write up the Twitter Files – got a sudden visit by IRS agents when he testified in Congress about the government orchestrated censorship and propaganda under the old Twitter ownership. Pardon me, guys: have you ever heard of an IRS agent making a visit? Senator Jordan wants some answers about it: spoiler, he won’t get them. This is bizarre and extremely frightening…and shows that Democrats have polling which shows this is something which could be turned on them devastatingly during an election year.

The Population Bomb didn’t go off – even far Left environmentalist whackos are now admitting the population will peak around 8.8 billion at midcentury and then rapidly decline. My bet – it’ll peak lower than that and decline much more rapidly than expected. My guesstimate is that it peaks around 2040 at a little over 8.5 billion. Birth rates are dropping like rocks everywhere…with the exception being among Mormons, ultra-Orthodox Jews and a few traditionalist Christian groups (which can range from Catholic to Protestant). So the really funny thing will be a new civilization arising starting around 2100 when, turns out, the only people alive at the time are believers because their parents decided to have kids.

Supposedly General Miley a little while back advised that Ukraine is as strong as she’s gonna get, is not strong enough to defeat Russia, so it is time for a diplomatic solution. If this story is true, my respect for Miley goes up a notch.

Of late, Zelensky has been talking big not just about pushing Russia out of what they’ve taken in the last year, but out of all Ukrainian territory, including Crimea. Well, hey, if he can do that, more power to him: but I don’t think Ukraine has the sheer power to do that. Absent a complete Russian collapse, the Russians will pretty much hold on to what they’ve got. As I said at the start – Ukraine’s job since 2014 was to build a mobile strike force capable of immediately going on the offense either right at the time the Russians attacked, or just before that. I like to call this The Israeli Option: what to do with enemies who vastly outnumber you and have far greater strategic depth? You attack and turn their dream of marching on Tel Aviv (Kiev) into a nightmare defending Cairo and Damascus (Rostov and Voronezh). Ukraine had plenty of time and plenty of money – and even plenty of factories and material to produce this force with only very limited support from anyone outside Ukraine. They didn’t do it. They decided that bribing foreign pols as a means of securing their support against Russia was a better idea (and this tells you right there that there’s at least a huge part of the Ukrainian population uninterested in fighting for Ukraine – that the Ukrainian government, unlike the Israeli government, could not rely on the population to make the sacrifices in blood and treasure). And, fundamentally, that is why I was against giving aid from the start – if they can’t sacrifice for themselves, why should I sacrifice for them? Now is the time to make peace – before more blood is shed and before the Russians do put forth their full power.

So, now they’re admitting that masks don’t work and there’s a good chance the Chinese flu came from the lab – whether accidentally or intentionally we don’t know, and likely never can know. Just as the repeated assertions of 2020 being clean are our best proof it was dirty, the assertion that Covid didn’t come from the lab was our best proof that it came from the lab. We just know – if we’ve any sense at all – that whatever it is they’re saying is a lie…or if by some miracle the truth, only partial and designed to deflect attention from something else even worse. Why they’re dribbling this out now remains to be seen – but is certainly isn’t to enlighten us. They’re hiding something else.

Supposedly the J6 footage was all turned over to Tucker Carlson and people are starting to wonder when we get to see it. Rely on it, folks: it was given to Carlson to ensure the most Narrative-Destroying parts never see the light of day. I dig that Carlson has a lot of fans and he does, indeed, say some useful things…but he’s MSM. He’s Establishment. He’ll never jeopardize his meal ticket and while his boss is testifying that Trump was lying about 2020 election fraud, you can bet any money that Carlson won’t piss the boss off by showing that J6 was a setup to ensure the truth about 2020 never came out.

Pudding Brain’s illegal order to cancel student debt was heard before the Supreme Court today – it ain’t looking good for Pudding Brain. But there is a very worrisome thing going – all over the Democrats and MSMers (but I repeat myself) was the assertion that the Court should rule in favor of cancellation regardless of what the law says…with an unstated subtext that if the Court doesn’t rule the way the Democrats want, then it is “out of control”…and so in need of being brought under control. We need not say who’s control is needs to be brought under. This is terrible for our system of government – essentially, the Democrats are saying that any Court ruling going against their desires is illegitimate.

Looks like Lori Lightfoot didn’t pass the graft around enough and she didn’t get into the runoff for Chicago Mayor. The winner will be whichever candidate seems most likely to correctly pass around the graft. Lightfoot will, of course, claim that her loss was because of racism, sexism and homophobia. This would mean the Democrat party is packed full of racists, sexists and homophobes.

Did not have “Chinese balloon rings death knell for the USA” on my bingo card.

Jesse Kelly points out that this is all our own fault – we have paid for the rise of China from worthless Commie backwater to evil Commie superpower. And when you really think back on it all, just what was the point of normalizing relations with China? It is held up as Nixon’s signal foreign policy triumph but what, really, was the benefit of it? And I mean to the USA, to China and to the world?

It sure in heck didn’t help us in Vietnam. Nixon went to China in 1972 and that didn’t stop North Vietnamese tanks from rolling into Saigon in 1975.

It didn’t help bring down the USSR. “Play the China card” was supposed to be some super-trump in global foreign relations…but as far as getting rid of the USSR, China might as well not even been there.

China’s ruthless exploitation of poor and naive third world nations isn’t doing anyone any good.

China’s ruthless dumping of third rate goods and fentanyl into the USA is kinda a bad thing, right?

China’s corruption of the global Ruling Class is probably not working out as a net plus.

And then there is China, as such. Sure: Marco Polo bringing back the concept of pasta did wonders for dinner. Paper money? Maybe not such a good thing. Chinese music, art and architecture can’t hold a candle to the West. Philosophy? Confucius wrote down copy-book maxims designed to perpetuate his class in power…China has nothing to compare to Aristotle or Aquinas…not even anything as good as Ashoka or Averroes. Just what are we supposed to get out of China? Where’s the benefit? They’ve grafted onto the stump of Maoism the industrial Midwest…goody for them. What’s in it for us?

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: there is no point in the United States having relations with nations like China. It is poison. Perhaps a free China would be worthwhile, but while China is under tyranny, we should be completely separate from them.

I’m telling ya: they’re just making the numbers up. We had report after report of major corporations downsizing all month and they pop up with 517k. Yeah, right. Keep in mind that even under the honest, the jobs number is a guess based on particular assumptions…for the dishonest, its any number they want…and in this case they wanted a number for China Joe to puff for his SOTU next week.

The MSM is already getting into “DeSantis is worse than Trump”. We all knew this was coming – the only question is how ready RDS is for it? Especially if it looks like he’ll be the nominee, they will pour garbage all over him…and he will be the subject of multiple federal and State criminal investigations. It doesn’t matter what about – they made it all up about Trump, they’ll make it all up about RDS. It will take real guts to overcome it – and we’ll see if RDS has that.

It is Black History Month and I guess Disney is running a bit for the kiddies asserting that America was built by slaves and other 1619 Project drivel. If you are not in favor of eliminating Woke corporations then you haven’t been paying attention.

So they found yet another trove of classified documents illegally in China Joe’s possession.

It really is a matter of anyone who goes up against Trump wrecks themselves, don’t they? Sure, Biden managed to cheat his way into Trump’s job…but we’re already well past the point that Joe’s reputation has been utterly destroyed because he went up against Trump. Having mountains of classified documents going back at least 15 years when his hack AG went after Trump on a bogus claim of mishandling documents is just the perfect manifestation of karma…and the millionth time the Democrats have proved that whatever they accuse us of, they are guilty of doing.

Personally, I don’t see a nefarious reason on the part of Pudding Brain for having them – whatever those around him might have done with the documents (Hunter would have had to be a saint not to sell them to the highest bidder…and “saintly” isn’t a word I’d use to describe a man suing in court to prevent his illegitimate daughter from using his surname), I think that Joe, himself, kept them because they made him feel important. Biden’s whole career has been a mere series of lies he’s told himself to make out that he’s the hero of the show – the smartest, bravest, most important man. He probably thought it was cool that he could see secret information and just wanted to hang on to it as a talisman of his greatness.

But the real issue is that he really did break the law – just as Hillary did – and we already know that no legal sanction will be applied. It was apparently only in this last couple days that DOJ officials started searching for docs. Until then, they allowed Biden’s personal attorneys to do the searching. This after they raided Melania’s panty drawer searching for secret documents. That is the problem with our society – the double standard. Laws are applied differently depending on how juiced in you are with the Ruling Class. Such a thing is unsustainable.

I wonder how many, besides me, got a feeling of joy in the heart contemplating arresting everyone at WEF and, after confiscating their money, set them to hard labor? It did flash through the mind as I thought about how wicked and corrupt they all are (they literally had to import hookers to keep up with demand in Davos…and we all know that among the “goods” imported were minors)…and just for a moment a flash of justice came to mind. I think that more and more are getting to that…getting, that is, to understand just why the Jacobins did what they did.

Hulu is running a series based upon the entirely bogus 1619 Project materials. They really are determined to get Americans to hate their own nation. And our response must be the ruthless defunding of all Leftist ideology – DeSantis is leading the way on this in Florida. Who controls the schools, controls the future. I’d rather we just abolished the education system…but if we can’t, then we’d better control it and ensure that our beliefs are transmitted to the next generation.

The cops in Atlanta killed a white Antifa criminal and, so, other white Antifa criminals then rioted in black neighborhoods. And, yes, CNN stuck with the “mostly peaceful protest” reporting. Governor Kemp has ordered a crackdown and it seems that even the city government is willing to hit back…but the fracas stared in one of those Antifa “autonomous zones” which emerged in 2020…what in heck is such a thing doing in Georgia in 2023? A state which re-elected its Republican governor by 7.5 percentage points? Why did Kemp allow that thing to continue? Really: in our Red States, we must start insisting that the GOP hammer the Left…we can’t stop Antifa from ruining Portland, but we can sure save Atlanta.

I had mentioned the other day that the latest Current Thing is fear-mongering over gas stoves – now that its been a couple days, it is all clear.

The initial fear-mongering was apparently a 2020 study out of UCLA and paid for by the Sierra Club (which advocates for the elimination of oil and gas). This study used a 10×8 room which had been sealed with plastic which they then ran an unlighted stove in for a while and, guess what?, if you have a sealed room and an open gas valve, the air will get toxic. Who knew?

From there, it made it into the MSM and then on to the regulatory agencies and legislatures. That is where we are now – with a few places (NYC most prominent) banning new residential gas installation and various federal agencies looking into the “threat” of natural gas and how it is to be addressed. The initial blowback once the proposal to ban gas stoves was made public caused what seemed like a step back – a claim that, no, nobody is coming for your gas stove. This is just as convincing as the claim that we could keep our doctor. The plan is now proceeding and taking the next, crucial step: reports in local news outlets. You know the type of report: “Is your gas stove killing you?!?!?!? Tune in tonight and find out!”. All of it is still based on that 2020 study, which is pure garbage because there never will be a situation where someone turns on a gas range in a sealed room. It is the same sort of study, though, which was used to ban indoor smoking (they seriously claimed that second hand smoke was just as deadly as the guy huffing three packs of grits a day), rework your gas can into ineffectiveness and a host of other changes imposed by regulation in the name of safety. They are now inducing fear in the sort of person who still watched the news and thinks they are telling the truth – you know: halfwits who vote Democrat. Rely on it, by 2028, at the latest, it will be obligatory dogma among Democrats to call for banning of gas stoves.

Of course, it isn’t about the stove.

The bottom line is a ban on the use of natural gas – it has to go. Not because natural gas isn’t clean but because it is clean and vastly more efficient than solar or wind. It provides cheap and efficient energy which makes life better for humanity. And I’m not kidding: that is why it has to go. They want us to suffer. They need us to suffer. We have to pay for our sins of being rich. Of being American. And for us to suffer all cheap and efficient energy must go…we must depend on solar and wind. Which will leave us eventually with daily blackouts, but that is good…it will be us suffering.

Are they throwing Pudding Brain under the bus due to the classified docs? I doubt it. It could happen, but more than likely, in my view, they’re just clearing out old business. Getting it out into the open before the House GOP finds it so it can either be dismissed as old news or kept silent about due to “ongoing investigations”. Like Hillary, though, Biden violated the laws governing classified documents. And just like Hillary, nothing will be done about it…unless they really are giving Joe the heave ho.

The Russians are having some recent success in Ukraine and so it looks like everyone is going to start sending first rate military equipment to Ukraine…which is really not such a good idea as the time it would take to train the Ukrainians in their use and maintenance is probably insufficient before the predicted Russian Spring offensive. To the untrained eye, the T64/T72 tanks Ukraine use look a lot like a German Leopard tank…but they ain’t the same. You can’t just hand the keys off like a guy switching from a Volvo to a Chevy. And there isn’t a mechanic in Ukraine who knows how to so much as change the oil on a Leopard. So, unless training and maintenance personnel are being sent, all we might be sending to Ukraine is a collection of paper weights. And if we send the support personnel…that means that NATO soldiers will be in a combat zone, very specifically in places the Russians will want to hit very hard.

Turns out that Pudding Brain, back when he was VP, mishandled classified documents. The MSM says that this is (D)ifferent and is of no concern. Naturally they say that, because China Joe actually broke the law – he was VP and didn’t have classification authority, unlike Trump who could declassify anything on a whim and didn’t even have to write down that he did so.

But, it doesn’t really matter: the law only applies to us, not to the Democrats. Even if we got an AG at some point willing to enforce the law against Democrats, they’d go before a DC jury which would vote to acquit no matter the facts. This is why I’ve suggested randomly assigning federal cases to different areas of federal jurisdiction…and/or moving most major agencies of the government out of DC. Put Justice in Yuma, AZ. Defense in Boise, ID. Treasury in Mobile, AL. This would also make it a lot harder for lobbyists.

The newest Current Thing is that gas stoves are a threat – and they’ve really worked this thing up. I hadn’t even heard of it until this morning and by the end of the day I was being referred to “studies” that allege NO2 from gas ranges causes a range of health and cognitive issues. They are doing this, of course, to get us all on 100% electricity, eventually controlled by a “smart thermostat” which will be able to ration our power as the Ruling Class sees fit. But, that aside, I’m amazed at the number of people who are acting as if they are convinced of the dangers of natural gas – as if we hadn’t been cooking with natural gas since the 1880’s with no ill effects. Are they really convinced? Are they really that stupid that they’ll set aside a lifetime’s experience and just believe it because the Experts say so? Or is it that they are really that dishonest? In either case, the result is the same: now we have to defend the use of natural gas.

This is how the Left wins: they are always on the offensive and are forever opening up new fronts. Any attack helps the overall push…and they don’t care how stupid the attack is. That it is made is the criteria for success because even if we manage to beat back the assault on gas stoves, it just means we didn’t have time for something else.

Like, for instance, in Minnesota to teach in public school you’ll have to be licensed and to be licensed you’ll have to positively affirm CRT and transitioning kids. The lives of thousands of children in Minnesota are about to sacrificed on the altar of Woke and we’re going to be overt there somewhere, trying to argue against a gas stove ban…

Joe went to a carefully cleaned up section of the border near El Paso for a photo op and a few remarks about how there is nothing wrong. You and I know it was all quite ridiculous but the Independent voters who will decide who wins the next election will just see it on CNN and it’ll be, for most of them, the first bit of border reporting they’ve seen in years and it’ll all look great. Do keep in mind that lying propaganda works. It works very well. Until everything falls apart.

McCarthy and the new GOP House majority are making some base-pleasing early moves but the proof will be in the pudding. What sort of investigations are done? What sort of bills are sent to the Senate. What is done to bills emerging from the Senate. That’s where we’ll find out of McCarthy and the GOPe have leaned any lessons. Fight and we win: it is as simple as that. Roll over and we’ll lose. We’ll know in a few months.
